Chapter 506 Warehouse

Li Jing put Jiang Xiaoya and Wangcai on the trolley, pulled one person and one dog and ran at the front. The faster they ran, the more and harder they were hit by the raindrops.

Jiang Xiaoya’s eyes were hit by the rain and she couldn’t open her eyes. She was holding on to the carriage with one hand and covering her own eyes with the other.

She was relatively good, able to hold on to the frame, but couldn't throw it off. However, Wangcai suffered. While being hit by the raindrops falling at a high speed, she had to endure the bumps of the car, flying around on the frame from time to time.

 “Ouch…”

Wangcai, the little puppy, desperately tried to use his paws to grab the car board and fix the dog's body. He did it again and again, and the scratching sound of his paws was not ordinary.

“Wangcai, come here, I’ll hold you!”

Seeing Wangcai like this, Jiang Xiaoya looked distressed. She grabbed the dog's ears, dragged it into her arms, and fixed it with her legs.

Soon, he began to teach the disobedient Wangcai with a sweet voice.

“As soon as I got in the car, I told you to hold you, but you still refused. Now you know you’re going to suffer, right? Wangcai, you have to be obedient from now on, do you know that?”

Wangcai was about to be cut into a piece of meat pie, and he screamed pitifully.

It knows that nothing good will happen if it stays with its little master!

 “It’s almost there, be patient!”

Li Jing also knew how to ride on a carriage, but there was no other way. The heavy rain started falling immediately.

The eldest and second eldest children had already gone to the wheat field to help, and they should still be working in the wheat field at the moment. Li Jing didn't care about them. The two cubs were old and could take care of themselves.

The last cartload of wheat was inevitably soaked by the rain, but because the quantity was small, it could be spread out in the warehouse.

After Li Jing unloaded the wheat from the rack truck, he pulled the rack truck out of the warehouse and placed it in a corner of the corridor that was not blocking the road.

Then, he held Jiang Xiaoya and Wangcai in his arms and stood guard at the door of the warehouse.

She wanted to know who was responsible for this little girl.

Wangcai stretched out his nose to sniff dutifully, and it made him sneeze, but he couldn't smell the scent of the person just now.

Wangcai screamed "oooooooooo" and told Li Jing no.

Hearing the comments from others nearby, Li Jing realized that most of the people who had cut the wheat had gone back, and only those who pulled the wheat came to the warehouse.

So, the person who made the move just now did not come.

Li Jing squinted her eyes and carefully recalled who was in the field before.     “Defending the country!”

Sister-in-law Lian came over with a towel, stretched out her hand and handed it to her, "Quickly wipe it off!"

Li Jing was not very familiar with Mrs. Lian, so she was stunned for a moment. In this short time, Mrs. Lian picked up a towel and wiped her up.

“Look at you, you’re all wet. Wipe the water away quickly. Be careful of getting sick!”

 “Ahem, I’ll do it myself!”

Li Jing couldn't bear Mrs. Lian's enthusiasm, so she hurriedly reached out and took the towel from Sister Lian's hand.

Sister-in-law Lian smiled at her, her smile a bit shy.

Obviously she is not good at doing this kind of thing either.

The two of them were quiet for a while. Listening to the pounding rain outside, Mrs. Lian said softly: "My mother-in-law and eldest brother have come back. Thank you!"

Li Jing wiped it briefly, then wiped Jiang Xiaoya in her arms, and returned the towel.

 “Actually, I didn’t do anything, sister-in-law, you’re welcome!”

“Yes, if it weren’t for you, I really don’t know what I would do?”

Li Jing smiled at the grateful woman and said, "It's good that Granny Liao is fine. It's been raining these days, so it's just a good time for her to recuperate. Granny Liao had better stay in bed and not go to the ground!"

“Okay, I’ve made a note of it, and my eldest brother and I will take turns visiting my mother-in-law!”

Sister-in-law Lian wrote it down carefully.

Li Jing had a good impression of Mrs. Lian, and she always had a smile on her lips.

In addition to them, there were many people taking shelter from the rain. After taking a rest, there were a lot of comments.

"This rain really comes on the fly. Fortunately, our captain allowed us to harvest the wheat in advance!"

“Who says it’s not the case? Our captain is still wise. Look at the second team, they may cry!”
