A Circle Of Time

It was 6am in the morning and an orange glow was starting to fill the sky, the bright light soon overpowered the oil lantern I have been using to practice my sword skills in an empty field. It has been 2 hours now that I have been practicing. I was avoiding using magic till now because it was dark and it might scare the villagers, so i went away into the forest to hunt some demon beasts while I practice my magic [Gravity Magic- Suppression], after I restrain the Fanged Sheep and cut their heads. These sheep aren't really difficult to kill but a herd of them are really annoying as they trample the fields and eat all the crops, so we get paid to kill them and submit them to the adventurers guild. Oh, come to think of it I have completely forgot to state who I am. My name is Red, named after the Red Dragon Emperor who saved our village in the past. It has been 700 years since then, and our village is rather well known as the Draconian Village. I suppose you would be surprised to know that I am the descendent of the Red Dragon Emperor and inherited his blood. He had fallen in love with my Grand Ancestor Aoi, the greatest water magician in the kingdom. I just turned 15 last year and finally became an independent a.d.u.l.t. I sell monster caracasses that i kill to the guild and earn my living. I generally aim for 50 slimes(different kinds), 40 goblins, 30 kobolds, 20 sheep and 10 Fox Bears each week. They sell for 10 Aurum per slime, 50 Aurums per Goblin, 100 Aurum per Kobold, 500 Aurum per sheep, 750 Aurum per Fox Bear. Oh, that reminds me the currency we follow here is Aurum, and the progression goes as such-

There are also Large Aurum- 100,000A and Heavy Aurum-1 Million A but those aren't in circulation as it is only used when buying a large house, or for huge trades between merchants. And above that is Continental Aurum- 10 Million A, which is used among Kings(Kingdoms) for large transactions and aren't used regularly.

So, I earn about 23,000 A per week, it costs 100A to stay in the high class in I live in but because I rent it for a month at a time, it costs 2500 A, by the way, there are 7 days a week and 360 days in a year.

'Thwack', oh i almost got too lost in my thought process. That was the last one, it is afternoon now, let me go and sell these at the guild, I put those things in my inventory and go to the guild. Oh just in case you didn't know I am a D-class adventurer, there are 8 ranks for adventurers from A to G, and Special class as S. As of now there have only been 3 S-class Adventurers all of those who have unlocked their 8th Magic circle, Throughout history after the Golden age which was a 5000 years ago after which human beings as creatures almost got exterminated by Silver Creatures who only sought the destruction of everything. They were somehow driven out by the combined efforts of multiple 9th circle expert, who ceased to exist and since then, there hasn't been a single 9th circle expert. By the way, we humans can only use magic by using acquiring these circles. Acquiring them increases the potential lifetimes of these people. Normal lifetime is 50-60 years but after the 4th circle their potential lifetime will increase to 80, 5th circle- 100, 6th circle- 150, 7th circle- 200, 8th circle- 300. Incidentally I am a 4th circle magician but I am proficient in swords as well.

['DING DONG'] Immediately I jumped back as the caution bell rang and my emergency danger sense rang, I opened my [Information Magic- World Map] and saw 6 Red dot and 1 Blue dot, around 500m away from me. The size of the dots correspond the danger/strength level of the opponent in accordance to me, the blue dot(/s vitality) was continuously getting smaller, and then I accelerated towards the scene.
