A Fateful Antidote

After Wilfred left, Master Liang asked Lorry and Anthony to go upstairs. He scolded them severely and told Anthony to go first.

Whenever Lorry and Anthony fought, Anthony always gave his best and showed no mercy, even if it was just for practice.

So Lorry’s attack on him was certainly merciless. But Anthony suddenly withdrew his force during the fight. Lorry hesitated for a second and lost her chance to win.

The mistake was reprimanded by Master Liang as a distraction in her mind. She was capable of dodging the attack but was suppressed by him due to a second slow reaction.

To punish her for her recent performance, Master Liang gave her a task to improve her temperament during her summer vacation.

Master Liang was not a greedy man. But the Kongfu School needed to maintain its daily expenses, so he would occasionally accept some tasks to make ends meet all these years.

Lorry hadn’t gotten a job before because of her tight study schedule. She was eager to try when she heard the senior brothers talking about the anecdotes during their tasks. She told Master Liang that if there was a task during this summer vacation, she could take it.

Master Liang didn’t tell her that it was Wilson’s job. He said that the employer would contact her. The payment for the job would allow the Kongfu School to move to a more spacious place.

So when the brothers of Kongfu School said goodbye to Lorry, their eyes were shining brightly, as if Lorry was about to do something great.

Toward the evening of the next day, Lorry received a phone call from a stranger asking her to go to the Juya Pavilion on Yuchang Road. She put on a light black sports suit and a cap and went out.

When she arrived, Robert, Wilson’s driver, came out to meet her. Lorry walked in the gate and found it to be a sophisticated and quiet private club, although from the outside it looked like an old-fashioned restaurant.

She walked through the long, winding corridor and found it to be spacious inside, which was a completely different world. People could not figure out the interior layout from the outside.

Each private room had a courtyard that required a swipe of a card to enter. Privacy was the primary concern of the design.

Robert led Lorry into a large courtyard and said, “Go through that door, you will see the young master there.

Lorry touched her hat and asked, “What does he look like?”

“You’ll see when you go in.”

Lorry frowned slightly and walked without hesitation to the carved wooden door.

By the way, the decoration of the club was in the ancient style and the construction was classical. Lorry thought that behind this door, there would be antique interior decoration, but she underestimated the means of wealthy people seeking pleasure.

Behind the door was a fan-shaped screen. Inside, there was modern interior decoration.

The music was soothing and melodious, not as explosive as the music in VIX.

Inside, there was a semi-circular tea bar. Several people sat at the tea bar, chatting and laughing. All the men and women were well dressed. At first glance, they looked respectable.

Further inside, there was a private swimming pool. There were beautiful waitresses everywhere. They were all curvaceous and wore cheongsam.

When Lorry came in, most people did not pay much attention to her. Only occasionally did someone stare at her because of her strange dress.

This was her first time in such a place. She had heard something about clubs from her seniors. But this place wasn’t obscene or chaotic like she had heard. Instead, there was an elegant tone everywhere. It seemed to be a real private meeting place for the upper class.
