Chapter 1: Transmigrated

Yu Chu was a powerful character in a novel who constantly stirred up trouble, but after transmigrating, he turned from a little demon that kept the masses under his spell into a pitiful little thing that everyone bullied.

Drugging, power struggles, fratricidal rivalries… Yu Chu resolved everything one by one. He snickered and prepared to recuperate in this peaceful world. As for those noisy “flies” that disturbed him, they were slapped to death by his hand.

Looking at those foolish “flies”, Yu Chu did not have the slightest ups and downs inside and slowly extended his hand of fate to the “flies” necks…

Slap!

The hand of fate was heavily slapped away.

“What are you staring at people for? It’s just that you didn’t get the last two custard buns. Do you still want to kill and rob them for the buns?” Xie XingMu, with his serious handsome face, lectured him coldly.

Yu Chu was very dissatisfied with this mysterious pseudo-‘former personal bodyguard’.

Even though Xie XingMu was tall, handsome, and rich, and had saved him many times from life and death; even though this man, as a former bodyguard, gave him food, shelter, and money when he, a young man, was living on the street, he was not pleased.

Xie XingMu controlled him to death in all aspects, not only checked his whereabouts at any time, but also installed a tracker on his cell phone, and was always buzzing around like an old mother.

Yu Chu was living with this oppressive wife and touched the back of his hand, which was slapped red. He was fierce in his heart: Sooner or later, I will kill this biggest “fly” by holding it down.

Later, he was held down, indeed, held down.

He cried and was pressed beneath Xie XingMu and almost killed.

It took Ning Cheng half an hour to figure out that he was on an island. It took him another ten minutes to figure out that he had been sleeping at home, but when he opened his eyes, he was somewhere else.

But he couldn’t figure out why.

He woke up on the beach, followed the shoreline for half an hour, but didn’t see a single person or a boat leaving. If one of his enemies did it, what was the deal with leaving him on an island? If they wanted to kidnap him to threaten Qi Ge, where were the people watching over him?

Ning Cheng stood on a jagged beach rock and frowned at the setting sun on the sea horizon, puzzled. He looked slightly sideways to his right, but a figure appeared in the corner of his vision. Turning abruptly, he found someone standing on a rock a dozen meters away from him.

Ning Cheng’s heart jumped wildly, and only one thought came to mind: When did this person get there? How did I not notice?

It was a tall young man with short shaved hair, scalp faintly visible at the temples, stern eyebrows, deep eye sockets, staring at him expressionlessly.

Ning Cheng had never seen this person, and his body instantly tensed as he did a rapid calculation in his heart. The man was 1.9 meters (6’3”) tall, the bulging muscles beneath his T-shirt looked very powerful. If they were to fight, he thought his chances of winning were only a few percent.

He swept his eyes to the left and right, looking for a suitable weapon. But the man looked at him for two seconds and then indifferently looked away, turning his head to stare at the sea in front of him.

Ning Cheng secretly breathed a sigh of relief, retreated to the edge of the boulder and jumped off, ran out a few steps, and turned back to see the man standing still, maintaining the posture of looking at the sea. He ran forward for a while without looking back as he turned onto the left path. Ten minutes later, a vast ancient castle appeared in front of him.

Calling it an ancient castle wasn’t entirely accurate because the stretched walls and the mid-rise buildings with exposed roofs looked very new and should have been only built in the past couple of several years.

There were a few people in black suits and headphones standing at the entrance. Ning Cheng was afraid of being discovered by them, so he ducked into the bushes next to the path, half squinted, and searched his mind for information about the island and the mansion.

After a few moments of thinking, he came up with nothing.

The sun was setting, the sky was getting dark, the lights in the mansion were getting brighter and brighter, and a few wisps of violin notes were drifting into his ears intermittently along with the sea breeze. Ning Cheng felt that if he wanted to figure out what was going on; he had to go inside.

Taking advantage of the cover of the night, he bypassed the people at the gate and agilely scaled the fence like a nimble civet cat. 1

The view was suddenly unobstructed, and a gorgeous building appeared in front of him. The floor lights illuminated the glazed texture of the marble walls, and the fountain’s water jets were dyed with colorful sparkles. The sound of music suddenly became clear, and there were many people in formal dress in the hall. Apparently, a dinner party was being held.

Ning Cheng was just about to leap off the ground when he saw a man entering the front door.

——Tall, stern face with straight, short hair and profound features; it was the same young man he had met at the beach when he woke up.

The gatekeeper didn’t stop the man. He walked straight to stand under the fence not far from Ning Cheng, took out a cigarette, clicked his lighter, and then slowly exhaled a white smoke ring. He didn’t look at Ning Cheng, and his eyes fell across the courtyard in the far distance. The high bridge of his nose blocked the light; the shadows hid half of the side of his face in the gloom.

Ning Cheng was sure that this man had been following him, and although he made no other move, this unseen stalking technique still made him feel threatened.

The man turned his head to glance at Ning Cheng, who was climbing on the wall, with a careless gaze. The man was stunned to see his fierce face and didn’t immediately turn back, but held a cigarette in his mouth and stared at him in silence.

Ning Cheng showed his teeth to him warningly, signaling him not to make a sound, and then turned to move down the fence, landing on the soft dirt ground and walking through the small wooded garden.

The garden was tranquil, the half-person high shrubs and flowering branches created dense shadows; Ning Cheng walked silently in the shadows created by the rockery and fountain until he reached the hall entrance, then straightened his shirt collar and came out. With his hands in his trouser pockets, he walked casually towards the door of the hall, like a guest wandering around, and picked up a glass of champagne when he passed by a waiter.

As expected, no one asked questions along the way, allowing him to enter the hall without any problem.

During Ning Cheng’s zigzagging around the lobby, the man’s eyes kept falling on him, the red dot on his cigarette flickering on and off. Only after seeing him enter the hall did he crush his cigarette and follow him.

The hall was brightly lit, with everyone dressed in fancy suits and laughing in small groups. Ning Cheng glanced around quickly and saw no familiar faces, so he walked with his drink to the band at the small round table, looking at the fiddler but keeping an eye on the whole hall.

He glanced at an unfamiliar man in a brown and red suit on his left and paused slightly.

The man was looking at him, with two deep bags under his lower eyelids, and didn’t avoid meeting Ning Cheng’s gaze, but raised his glass and gave a flirtatious smile before turning away.

Ning Cheng withdrew his gaze without moving, ready to go to the second floor to see. He handed the used glass to the fiddler, who just finished playing a song, then flew up to the second floor after he said thanks.

Unlike the noisy first floor, the second floor was very peaceful. The sound of people mingling was cut off abruptly at the staircase as if a thick shag carpet absorbed the sound waves into it.

Ning Cheng looked around, pushed open the nearest door, and dashed in.

Downstairs, the man who had followed Ning Cheng from the beach also entered the hall. He caught a flash of his back at the corner of the stairs and was about to follow him when a man in a black suit called him.

“Brother Mu,2 the Eldest Young Master has asked for you,” the man in the black suit said.

“Where is the Eldest Young Master?”

“By the pool.”

The man hesitated for a moment and looked in the direction of the stairs again before following the black suit outside.

Ning Cheng entered the room and closed and locked it with one swift motion.

It was a bedroom with gauzy curtains billowing in the night breeze, lit by a small floor lamp outlining the furniture inside and the luxurious king-size bed in the center of the room.

The banquet was bustling downstairs, so he guessed the room’s owner wouldn’t come up for a while. He started looking around the house for a communication tool like a terminal, hoping to connect with Qi Ge and the others.

Suddenly arriving at this inexplicable place, except for the fact that someone was following him, his actions weren’t restricted. There was still a banquet going on downstairs, but everything was weirdly abnormal. He had to ask Qi Ge to find out where this was, whose power governed it, and what the purpose of the people who had captured him was.

Ning Cheng searched around the room and found no terminal, only a cell phone on the round table. He also had a cell phone of this kind as a decorative item in his collection, so he only looked at it and then turned his eyes away.

There was a small refrigerator in the corner; his throat was parched, so he took out the only bottle of water from it, unscrewed the cap, and took a sip. As soon as the water entered his mouth, he immediately tasted a very faint aftertaste that he recognized with his perception trained over the years and twisted his head to spit it out on the carpet.

Wiping off the water stains on his lips, he held the bottle of water up to his eyes, and through the light of the floor lamp, he saw tiny particles floating and sinking inside.

At the same time downstairs, a frivolous man in a brown and red suit was asking a well-dressed youth beside him, “Young Master Yu, it’s about time, isn’t it?”

Hearing these words, Young Master Yu Feng looked at the man beside him.

“The men on the second floor reported that the Young Master has gone back to his room and also heard the refrigerator door open.” The henchman came up to Yu Feng’s ear and reported in a whisper.

Yu Feng turned his head to look at the man with an expectant face, his gold-rimmed glasses reflecting white light, “Li Wei, don’t forget, you have to give me 30% profit.”

“It’s a deal.” Li Wei raised his hand and wiped the top of his sleek hair, turned around, and walked in stride towards the stairs.

Li Wei soon arrived at the door of the room Ning Cheng entered, took out a pre-hidden room card from his pocket, and somewhat eagerly aimed at the electronic door lock.

The door opened with a click.

There were no lights on inside the room, only bright moonlight was spilling in through the window. Li Wei entered the door impatiently and locked it behind him.

“Yu Chu…” He called out hoarsely.

There was no response from inside the room, and he knew that the drug Yu Feng had used had worked. The bedding on the bed in the center of the room had a human-shaped bulge, and looking at the undulating lines, his eyes quickly flushed red, as his pupils tightened with excitement, and his nostrils began to flare sharply.

He slowly walked towards the bed, bending down to pick up a white bathrobe from the carpet on the way, lifting it to the tip of his nose and sniffing it greedily. His eyes were fixed on the person on the bed, like a hungry hyena, from start to finish. He had been thinking about this moment since he first saw Yu Chu at the Yu family house. He wanted that lamb-like, pitiful little thing to open his charming eyes and let out a pleading cry in this room.

Just by imagining it, a part of his body had already shown an unsightly reaction, and his temples were throbbing with pain from the rushing blood.

Although Yu Chu’s position in the Yu family was dispensable, he was the second son of the Yu family, after all, bearing the Yu family name. So he paid the price of giving up 30% in this deal with Yu Feng for this opportunity tonight.

The room was quiet, except for the occasional hint of cello sound drifting in from the window. Only Li Wei’s ragged panting was left. He walked over to the bed, loosened the bathrobe in his hand, and prepared to enjoy the feast of the night. After swallowing, he reached out and went to grab the covers on the bed.

Just then, there was a blur, a brief blackness in his vision, and a sensation of soft silky objects brushing against his cheek. He raised his hand in shock, felt the silk quilt covering his head, and before he could react, he heard the crisp click of a dislocated bone from his right shoulder.

The intense pain came two seconds later, and before Li Wei’s scream could escape his throat, a small ball of silk was stuffed into his mouth, while a crunching sound came from his left shoulder, and both of his arms dangled limply. He fell headlong on the bed, on the verge of fainting from the pain, when he heard a quiet ringing and felt someone tying his legs.

An enemy had infiltrated the Yu family home. This was the only thought that flashed through Li Wei’s mind. He couldn’t care less about the pain in his body and looked up to see the person, but after seeing the face, his pupils dilated in shock, and even his breathing stopped for a moment.

The face of the person opposite was illuminated by the light, hair softly hanging down the corner of his forehead, revealing a pair of both round and large almond eyes, but the bottom of his eyes were no longer ignorant and straightforward, but flashing with a palpitating cold glare. The usual meekness on the pretty face faded away, and now there was a shady and ruthless look as if the sweetest cream was sprinkled with a layer of frost.

It was Yu Chu, who should be lying in bed, sleeping.

Li Wei was so shocked that he forgot to struggle for a moment; he just watched ‘Yu Chu’ use the robe belt to tie his legs firmly and then take out a transparent object from behind him.

——It was a pointed crystal object, cold and firm, with a rounded base at one end and a sharp light reflecting from the other.

Ning Cheng gripped the base and pointed the spike at Li Wei with a ruthless look in his eyes.

Li Wei finally reacted at this point, and he didn’t expect that Yu Chu, who was usually at the mercy of others, would dare to treat him this way. He was immediately shocked and angry. He desperately wriggled his body like a struggling fish on a chopping board, and his gagged mouth made a whimpering sound.

Ning Cheng aimed his pointed awl at his neck, and his voice was cold as if it was mixed with ice, “Who are you? Abyss or Top of the Clouds? Where is this place? Who are all those people down there?”

Li Wei heard these nonsensical words and froze for a moment.

Ning Cheng’s gaze sank, and the pointed awl was pushed downward. Li Wei immediately felt a stinging pain on his neck, and a sticky liquid slid down his skin.

“Ooof…” He struggled in fear.

“No sound or I’ll stab you to death.” After making sure Li Wei stopped struggling, Ning Cheng reached out and pulled out the cloth ball from his mouth, “Tell me, what is this place and whose territory is it?”

Li Wei looked at him for two seconds and then said, “This is the Yu Family’s home, your family’s territory.”

Ning Cheng laughed coldly and increased his force a few degrees, causing more blood to flow. Li Wei shouted in terror, “I was wrong to try to hurt you on your family’s turf! I was wrong, Little Young Master Yu—”

Ning Cheng stuffed the cloth ball back in, muffling those miserable howls, and snickered, “Quite a tough mouth…”

The tone of his words was light, and his voice was as clear as ever, but it sent a chill down Li Wei’s spine, crawling up the soles of his feet. His feet were bound, both shoulders were dislocated, and he was defenseless. If he could speak now, he would have pleaded with Yu Chu for mercy.

This usually docile lamb suddenly turned wild tonight. He sensed the danger, and his pale cheeks were dripping with cold sweat. Li Wei’s brain just turned countless thoughts, when he saw Yu Chu suddenly turn his head without any warning, raising the crystal object with both hands, and with the head of the round base aimed at him, he fiercely smashed down.

At that instant, Li Wei’s retinas were covered with red and only reflected the other’s cruel smile on the corner of his mouth and the untimely fierceness on his pretty face. The next thing he knew, he was swept away by the overwhelming pain and passed out with his head lolling.

Ning Cheng turned the crystal again and aimed the pointed awl at Li Wei’s neck, and was just about to stab down with force when the room suddenly rang with the sound of ear-splitting music. He stopped and quickly turned around to find the source of the sound and found that it was the cell phone resting on the table.

The phone screen was flashing, not only emitting music but also vibrating the table, buzzing. His first reaction was not to turn off the phone but to think, This thing actually works?

Ning Cheng was staring at the phone, and someone suddenly knocked on the door. He finally put down the crystal and pulled the quilt over Li Wei’s head, covering the unconscious Li Wei on the bed while he darted into the bathroom.

As the bathroom door slammed shut, the entrance door made a loud bang, and someone kicked it open. Ning Cheng kept his cool, pursed his lips, darted to the wall, and pulled open the window with a clatter.

Outside was the garden, which was empty at the moment, but the outer layer of the window was welded with a two-finger thick steel bar, with a narrow gap.

The way out was blocked.

Ning Cheng stood motionless, holding his breath to listen to the movement outside, but in addition to the loud sound of the door, there was no other noise, the phone ringing also stopped, and the whole room fell into a dead silence.

After a few seconds, he gently moved a step to the side, took off the stainless steel shower head hanging on the wall as a weapon, but when his eyes fell on the large mirror opposite, he froze. The reflection was of a man in a white shirt, the face looking both familiar and unfamiliar. It was like his, but not like his; his features were similar, yet not quite the same.

A pair of glowing peach blossom eyes became large and round almond eyes, and the thin upturned lips became small and plump. The face shape was also different: fleshy cheeks full of baby fat and soft flesh.

Ning Cheng looked at the mirror, utterly stunned. Because of the shock, the person in the mirror’s pair of eyes became more prominent and round, conveying a kind of naive ignorance. He subconsciously raised his hand to touch his face; his hand felt warm and soft, and his face also felt his fingertips.

This was real.

Have I been given a new face? This thought flew through his mind.

No, no, there was no means to replace the face so realistically, and he didn’t have the slightest feeling after surgery. In the suffocating silence, he suddenly remembered the words of the man on the bed and the cell phone that could only be connected, and a thunderstorm exploded in his head.

Did I transmigrate?

The author has something to say:

In this new novel, I have something to explain. Because the two names, Yu Chu and Ning Cheng, often appear, I don’t want to confuse the reader. So, the MC will be directly called Yu Chu for the rest of the text, not his original name Ning Cheng. Don’t mind about the change.

By the way, Brother Mu is the seme/gong.
