A Trainer's Tale: Can He Resist A Pokemon's Charm!?

"Chu! Pi, Pichu!" cried Pichu.

"Iggly, Igglybuff!" cried Igglybuff.

Hearing their positive replies, he smiled from ear to ear and started to sprint towards the house. He wanted to go to Grandma Carol and borrow her pokeballs and 'keep' these two with them.

When he entered the house, he was surprised to see a person that looked a lot like Aira, standing in front of him.

She has blonde hair, gray eyes, and a hairstyle that matches with Aira's hairstyle. However, there is a slight difference in both their hairstyles. The unknown girl has bangs that cover the left side of her face.

Seeing Jeid, she had a look of surprise and said,

"Are you the one who stole my sister from me!?"

"Eh?" Jeid asked, dumbfounded.

"I thought that my sister would come to me and hug me excitedly, once I come back home but… buuut!" she said, as she trailed off.

Jeid was curious so he asked, "But?"

"But you ruined it all! She just greeted me like I was away for a day!" she said. Although she is 3 years older than Jeid, she is still, technically, a child. So she's currently throwing a tantrum because her little sister doesn't seem to miss her that much.

Surprised by her sudden outburst, it took time before Jeid could recover.

"Umm, are you, by any chance, Aira's big sister?" he asked.

"Yes, I'm Cynthia! I'm Aira's big sister! And you, why did you steal my little sister away from me!?" she asked. She is kind of high handed but, it's most probably because she is agitated.

"I didn't steal your sister away. I just want to play with her because she seems to be sad that you went away," Jeid replied.

Hearing his reply, Cynthia had to think for a few moments. Reaching into a conclusion, she said,

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to shout at you. I was just really sad that my little sister found a new person to play with. Back then, it was just me and her that would play with each other," Cynthia said. After thinking about it, she concluded that she was in the wrong for shouting at this boy.

'It seems like my ability helped her calm down,' Jeid thought.

"It's ok, Cynthia. No hard feelings," he replied. He doesn't call Cynthia as big sister Cynthia. He just feels uncomfortable saying it when you're mentally older.

'But, I wonder why Cynthia is much younger here?' he thought.

That's when a girly voice answered him in his mind.

‹It is because the God of Creation made this world. The first world of this pocket monsters got destroyed because the Arceus there was too weak to protect it from harm. The stronger Ultra Beasts swarmed the whole Pokemon multiverse in a matter of days and decimated all the living beings there. Seeing this hopeless situation, God just decided to blow up the entire multiverse that the Pokemon multiverse belongs to,' explained the girlish voice.

'Is that so? Then why did he say that I was the one who inspired him in making this new pokemon world?' Jeid asked, puzzled.

‹That is because, at first, he doesn't want to create that multiverse again. No matter how he repeatedly tried to make it better, one pokemon would just go and blow up the world into oblivion. Seeing your world, he was inspired to create it again. This time, humans were more civilized and their research more advanced in terms of technology. It was what gave birth to the idea of putting up a barrier in towns and cities,› the voice explained.

‹He hopes that you and your masterpiece would help balance this world,› the voice continued.

'Masterpiece? Wait, you don't mean…'

Before Jeid could continue, the voice cut him off.

‹Yes, your masterpiece. The strongest Pokemon to ever be created through research and continuous breeding that you did. The Ultimate Pokemon --------.'

Hearing this, Jeid was shocked. So that was why he felt like the egg was so familiar to him. It was familiar because he took so much time to research and breed that pokemon.

It was the baby pokemon who passed the level 10 tower with ease.

'The pokemon that even Arceus would pay respect to,' he thought.

‹Yes, Arceus has asked for your help to fend off those Ultra Beast once they reach this world. It seems like they have found this new Pokemon world,› the voice, known as the System AI, said.

'It seems like it will be a world full of battles if that happens. I just need to train harder myself to ensure that no one gets harmed,' thought Jeid.

After that, Jeid talked to Cynthia a bit and then walked towards where Grandma Carol is.

"Grandma Carol! Could you please help me with this?" he said.

"Yes? What is it, Jeid? What is it that you need help with?" Grandma Carol asked. She is currently cooking for a feast, mainly because Cynthia went home.

"Please let us keep these two girls here. These two don't have parents so…" Jeid said.

Hearing his words, Grandma Carol turned around and saw Jeid holding two cute little creatures in his arms.

"Oh! Do you want to keep these two cuties? Which one would be Aira's pokemon?" Grandma Carol asked.

"Yes, I want to keep these two! I want to keep them as our future partners! And, this little girl here, Igglybuff, wants to be with Aira," Jeid replied.

"Okay then, go get the pokeballs upstairs and use it to catch them," said Grandma Carol.

After that, Jeid went upstairs and said to the two to press the white button so that they can be officially their keep.

The two furballs readily pressed the button and got captured with the pokeballs only moving once.

*tungg*

The sound of a successful capture was heard.

'With this, Aira would be happy!' he thought as he released the two from their pokeballs.

"Let's go, guys! We will go play in my room!" he said.

There are too many foreign entities that entered the pokemon world, only to be considered as a Pokemon, too. Like the new legendary in the Pokemon Sword and Shield. The one who is the root of the Dynamax and Gigantamax thingies.
