A Traveler's Legend: Leisurely Living My Life In A Normal World

Year 20xx, 3rd of March.

It has been a day since Shin started to flesh out the details of his new plan. It was quite a daunting task but Shin managed to finish it either way after a few hours of brainstorming.

This project, if implemented, would be of great help to the whole Angel population so Shin is trying to get this project started. If everything goes well, this project would be up and running after 5 or so months has passed.

Although it would take that much time, Shin wasn't really in a hurry. If he and Tapris were able to create this site, it will boost his progress in the other crafts and subjects that he wanted to learn.

"Now that the entire layout of the plan is done, we'll now be able to proceed in creating it. I'll use the MagiTech that I learned to create an extremely complicated magic script to block those who will try to hijack this site. Hehehe, let's see if they can hack my site when I put my mind into creating a full proof security magic circle," Shin said while smiling devilishly.

"Mwahahaha!" Shin laughed.

If someone didn't know better, they would think that this kid is some kind of evil scientist who is laughing at the apparent success of his future endeavor. That's just how evil sounding his words were.

As if to stop his antics, a shadow who towers over Shin walked from behind him and knocked his head using the palm of his/her hand.

"Owww! Ugh... why did you do that, Mom?" Shin inquired.

He almost bit his tongue. If he didn't sense her coming towards him, he would've surely bit his tongue.

'That will surely be painful,' Shin thought.

Meanwhile, Murielle, who gave Shin a smack on the back of his head, is looking at this silly son of hers with her usual amiable smile.

"Shin-kun dear, you shouldn't laugh like that, you know? You sound like some devilish individual who is up to something no good. Do you want mother to show you how mother deals with devilish individuals?" Murielle said while smiling.

Upon hearing her words, Shin began to shiver. One should know how scary it is to face the wrath of a woman, most especially your mother's wrath. And, if the one who were to be angry is one of the two Super Angels, it wouldn't end well for Shin.

"Ha-Hahaha... No need to do that, Mom. I was just happy that I'm making progress with my research," Shin said.

"Is that so? Then, don't laugh like that again, okay? If you don't listen to mother then..."

After Murielle said that, she conjured a small ominous looking black and white colored ball. The inside of the ball was white in color while being surrounded by black streaks of flame-like things. It kept on rotating around the white ball, making the sight look kind of ominous.

Ever since their prowess was revealed, Murielle and Daniel no longer hid their powers from their children. It was so that they would know about their heritage and so that they could learn how to use it. They just hid it from them in the past because they wanted to live a peaceful life.

However, from what they know, the supernatural world is gradually entering a chaotic era. They are experts so they can feel that this calm and peace will not last long. It's like the calm before the storm.

Since it is like that, both of them decided to teach their children about their heritage so that they can utilize it when the time came. As for Shin? Well, they still plan on teaching him how they use their powers anyway. Who knows? He might be able to learn it. They didn't want to just exclude Shin just because he isn't their real son. They never viewed him as an outsider and they never will.

"Y-Yes! I understand, Mom!" Shin said.

"Good! Now, let's go and eat breakfast. You will be going to Tap-chan's house, right? Head over to the dining room now so that we can start eating breakfast," Murielle said.

"Yes Mom! I'll follow after a few seconds," Shin replied.

After eating breakfast with his family, Shin took Haniel with him for a stroll. He will just be talking to Tapris about this collaboration so it wasn't like they'll be going to start making it right away. They needed to first brainstorm about even more good ideas to improve the site and its security so Shin figured that they might be able to start making the app tomorrow or the other day.

"Onii-tama, Onii-tama! Whewe awe we going!?" Haniel asked while pulling on Shin's hands.

She was looking up at Shin while smiling brightly so he knew that this little sister of his is quite excited to go outside with him. They only do this once every month so Haniel is quite excited to go out with her Onii-tama.

"We'll be going to Tap-chan's house, Haniel-chan. You remember your Tap-oneechan, right?" Shin asked.

"Un! Han wemembews hew, you know?" Haniel replied while smiling brightly.

Shin finally couldn't hold himself back anymore after seeing such an angelic smile so he stopped, crouched down, and gave his cute little sister a peck on her soft and springy cheeks. He then scooped her up and placed her above his shoulders, intending to carry her that way.

"Hehehe, this is so fun! Onii-tama, let's wuuuun!" Haniel said while giggling.

"Okay~. Hold on tight, okay?" Shin said before running off.

The two children's laughter echoed as the Angels who saw them passing by watched their antics with warm smiles on their faces. They're already used to the sight by now so they're not that surprised upon seeing Shin run off at a relatively faster speed than most a.d.u.l.ts.

A few minutes after Shin sprinted, they finally arrived at the Chisaki Family's residence. Mrs. Chisaki and Mr. Chisaki was just outside their house, planting some flowers.

'If I remember correctly, aunt Celeste likes flowers very much while uncle Noriel is a very supportive person. He likes to help his daughter and wife whenever he can,' Shin thought while looking at Tapris' parents.

Their full names were Celeste Sugarbell Chisaki and Noriel Sugarbell Chisaki. Celeste is a florist who owns her own flower shop while Noriel is a businessman like Anne Ainsworth Shiraha. In fact, the two of them - along with Kimuel Ainsworth Shiraha - often invest their money at the same companies. Their families are long time friends who helps out each other when needed.

When Shin and Haniel arrived, the first to notice them was Noriel.

"Oh, if it isn't Haniel-chan and Shin. Are both of you here for a visit?" Noriel asked.

Celeste, who heard her husband's words, also looked up to see who her husband is talking to.

"Ara, it's really Shin-kun and Han-chan. What brings the two of you here?" Celeste asked.

"Aunt Celeste, uncle Noriel, good morning to you two. We are here to visit Tap-chan today!" Shin replied while smiling.

"Yesh! I came hewe with Onii-tama, you know?" Haniel chimed in.

"Fufufu, is that so? My dear daughter holed herself up in her research lab. You should probably go there if you want to see her," Celeste said.

"Indeed. She's been holing herself up there for a few hours now. I think she's modifying her AnimalDex again," Noriel added.

"Yes, thank you," Shin replied.

"Thank youu~! See you, aunt and unclee~!" Haniel said.

"Yes, see you, Han-chan," Celeste said while waving her hands.

"Un, please tell my daughter to finish what she's doing before lunch," Noriel said.

"Yeees!" Shin replied.

After entering the Chisaki house, Shin let Haniel down. Haniel then held Shin's hand and led him to Tapris' research lab. She's been here for a few times so she knows where Tapris' research lab is.

"Tap-oneechaaaan~! We'we heeewe!" Haniel shouted.

After Haniel shouted out, a voice from a nearby room suddenly said,

"Ah! Han-chan!? Wait, I'll be finished here in a second."

"Okaayyy~! Han is hewe with Onii-tama, you know?" Haniel replied.

There was only silence for a few seconds when Haniel said that. It seems that Tapris was quite surprised that Shin decided to visit today. Well, she couldn't be blamed for being surprised as Shin rarely visits them these days. He would visit them once or twice a week but he rarely spoiled them.

She, Gabrielle, and Raphiel already noticed this a long time ago but they didn't really complain. They heard from Murielle about what happened to Shin and her friends in the human world so, they, being the smart girls that they are, understood why Shin was avoiding to spoil them too much. Due to this, they treasured the time when Shin would spoil them from time to time.

"A-Ah! S-Shin-oniisama is here!? W-What do I do!? Should I t-take I bath? I don't smell right!? Uuuu, I should probably change my clothes too!?" Tapris suddenly said after a brief pause.

She seems to be freaking out as she rarely panics like this. Haniel, who heard her Tap-oneechan freak out, couldn't help but ask,

"Onii-tama, Onii-tama! Why is Tap-oneechan sweaming? Is Tap-oneechan huwt?" Haniel asked.

Shin, upon hearing her question, couldn't help but smile wryly as he said,

"N-No, Haniel-chan's Tap-oneechan is just thinking about something out loud. Come on, let's wait for Tap-oneechan at the living room."

"Hmm? Han doesn't undewstand but okaay~! Han will follow Onii-tama!" Haniel replied while holding onto Shin's hand and leading him towards the living room of the Chisaki house.

While waiting at the living room, Shin and Haniel decided to play a game to entertain themselves. The game they decided to play this time was thumb wrestling. Haniel decided to play this game as she wanted to know if she can beat her Onii-tama at this game.

However, things didn't go well for the little Angel. She never won any match against her Onii-tama as her thumb was just too small to contend against her Onii-tama. She kept on losing and losing that her expression turned from a beaming smile into a scrunched up one that seems like she will cry any time soon.

Shin, who had been enjoying his time with his little sister, noticed this as he immediately stopped to stare at his close to crying little sister. It seems that he got too carried away as he really enjoyed playing thumb wrestling with his little sister. It should be mentioned that Haniel's thumb was just so soft and squishy that it made Shin forget one important piece of information.

Yes, that's right. That piece of information is that, the members of the Tenma Family, or any other little girl who he associated with for that matter, hates to lose.

"Uuuu, Onii-tama is so unfaiw! You should let Han win~!" Haniel protested.

Seeing her use her ultimate move, the upturned eyes, Shin was almost ready to relent and let her win. And, as if she wanted to pour salt onto Shin's wound, a certain self proclaimed Dragon God decided to interject and said,

『Haniel used the move [Upturned Eyes]!』

『It was SUPER EFFECTIVE!』 Yuki added.

Shin decided to just ignore the Dragon God who is obviously having fun and directed his attention to his little sister. After thinking for a second, he heaved a sigh and said,

"Do Haniel-chan really want Onii-sama to let her win? Then, would Haniel-chan feel happy if she were to win because Onii-sama let her win?"

Upon hearing his question, Haniel stopped what she was doing and began to think deeply. Well, it was supposed to be like that. At least that's what Haniel intended to do. However, she just looks absolutely adorable in her thinking pose.

"Uuuuuu," Haniel g.r.o.a.n.e.d as she tried to think.

She even tilted her head to the side, placed her index finger just below her lower lips, and showed an extremely 'serious' expression. Well, all it did was to make her look even more adorable instead of looking serious. Due to this, Shin had to hold his urge to just cuddle with her.

After thinking for a second, Haniel's expression finally lit up and said,

"Ah! Han don't want to win because Onii-tama let Han! Han will do hew best and defeat Onii-tama by hewself!"

Hearing her reply, Shin finally couldn't hold himself back as he hugged his sister and said,

"Mmm, Haniel-chan is really such a good girl."

After that event, Shin and Haniel continued to play while waiting for Tapris to go outside of her research lab. It's not like the both of them mind waiting for a long time. They're entertaining themselves by playing thumb wrestling so they weren't feeling bored.

After fifteen or so minutes has passed, Tapris finally came out of her research lab. It seems like she took too long because she took a bath. She's wearing what seems to be a new set of clothes as she sat at the sofa in front of Shin and Haniel and asked,

"Umm, then, why is Haniel-chan and Shin-oniisama here? Did you come here to play?" Tapris asked.

"Hmm? Well, both of us came here because we want to play with you. Also, I have to talk to you about a collaboration project that we will do with just the two of us," Shin said.

Shin then went on and on about the benefits of succeeding on finishing his project. He said something about making a new program that would (figuratively) run on top of the Internet like the World Wide Web. It's supposed to be a new web browser where only Angels or the inhabitants of Heaven can access, much like the Devildom's Web and Fallen Angel's Web that runs on top of the internet.

Shin said that it would be of great help to them who wanted to have some mode of communication that would be much more secure than the regular World Wide Web that all Angels are using right now. Using this new web browser that functions like the World Wide Web, the Angels can then make some sites that can only be accessible to Angels. It will be like a private web wherein only Angels can access it.

Shin also mentioned something about making a site that functions like the site YouTube, that humans use, the DevilTube, that Devils use, and the FallenTube, that Fallen Angels use. Shin actually asked his parents whether or not the Angels already have something like this. However, it seems like it was still in the planning stages. Also, it seems that the developers are planning on running it through World Wide Web, which is actually a bad idea.

While Shin was talking about all of this, the two girls were doing things that should've been the opposite. Instead of Tapris being the one who was listening to Shin's endless chatter about his project, it was Haniel who is doing that. Tapris, on the other hand, is absentmindedly staring at nothing in particular.

Shin's previous words kept on ringing inside her head, leaving her in a daze.

'Just... the... two of... us,' Tapris thought.

Good thing she immediately woke up from her frozen stupor just before Shin finished his long winded speech.

"So? What do you think, Tap-chan?" Shin inquired.

"Yes! I'll do my best!" Tapris replied reflexively.

Upon hearing her positive reply, Shin couldn't help but smile brightly.

"Thank you, Tap-chan. Then, from now on, please take care of me, okay?" Shin said.

"U-Umm... Yes, please take care of me too, Shin-oniisama!" Tapris replied.

While the two were talking amongst themselves, the silent Haniel suddenly said,

"Onii-tama, Onii-tama! Han is... Can Han also leawn this... Umm... Intewnet thingy~?"

• Huhuhu, Heaven is slowly shaping up to become a much more reliable place! Mmm, next will be the sites and then there will be the Other Species to Angel Reincarnation System! There's still a long way to go, though.

• This is just another one of those chapters where I ended up writing something different. (The first draft was actually deleted so I had to write this once again from scratch)
