Shan Yi’s tongue probed against her lips for quite a while, unwilling to settle for a shallow kiss and forcefully pushed through her tightly closed teeth. Shen Tiantian was kissed until she retreated, her waist pressed against the kitchen counter.

“Cough… cough…”

An awkward yet polite cough interrupted them. Liu Wanjun leaned against the kitchen door, wearing a smile as if enjoying the show. “Miss Shan, don’t forget that my dear Tiantian is pregnant.”

Shen Tiantian’s mind exploded with embarrassment, hastily pushing the person who was almost on top of her away, blushing, and quickly walked out.

Being caught in such a situation by her friend was simply too shameful.

Shan Yi wiped her lips and looked at Liu Wanjun, “I’ll remember.”

Liu Wanjun smiled, didn’t say anything, and went back to the living room with her phone. As soon as she sat down, she selected a photo from her album and sent it to the group chat.

Liu Wanjun: Isn’t this too intense?!

Shen Tiantiian was still in a daze from the kiss just now. When she saw Liu Wan Jun coming out, she had to awkwardly use her phone to cover up, and coincidentally, she caught a glimpse of the photo that was sent in the group.

Shen Tiantian: …

It was a picture of her and Shan Yi kissing in the kitchen.

She felt that it was already embarrassing enough to stumble upon such a situation, but she didn’t expect Liu Wanjun to take a photo of it.

Liu Wanjun chuckled with a hint of ambiguity, casually sat down beside her, and sent another message in the group chat.

Liu Wanjun: Your CEO seems quite thirsty.

Shen Tiantian: …It’s not like that, I can explain.

Liu Wanjun gave a light laugh, tilted her head, and teased: “Can this be explained?”

“Quick, delete it,” Shen Tiantian whispered next to her ear.

“It’s fine, let Yaya see too,” Liu Wanjun locked her phone, shrugged, and said, “There are only the three of us in the group chat, so why be shy?”

Shen Tiantian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry and said, “If I took a picture of you and Mr. Lin kissing, wouldn’t you feel embarrassed?!”

Liu Wanjun laughed cheerfully, “I won’t give you that chance.”

Shen Tiantian opened the picture and looked at it. She felt both shy and strangely fascinated by it. So, by the time she reacted, she had already saved the photo on her phone.

After realizing what she had done, Shen Tiantian didn’t dare to look at Liu Wanjun. If she found out, she would inevitably tease her.

“By the way, did you ask her about her family last time?” Liu Wanjun suddenly asked.

“Not yet,” Shen Tiantian replied nervously. “She asked me to move in with her, but I think we should go with the flow.”

“Go with the flow? Your belly will be growing at this rate,” Liu Wanjun was exasperated by her indecisive nature. She couldn’t understand why someone in their twenties couldn’t make up their mind.

Shen Tiantian shrunk her neck, stealing a glance at Liu Wanjun, but didn’t dare to speak.

Liu Wanjun looked at her empty hands and frowned: “Didn’t she propose to you? Where’s the ring?!”

Shen Tiantian’s ten distinct fingers were entwined together. “We went to see rings that day, but we didn’t buy one.”

Liu Wanjun felt defeated upon hearing this, helplessly lowering her head and raising her hand to support herself. Both of these girls were so indecisive. “Can’t you be a bit more proactive?”

“How can I be proactive?!” Shen Tiantian rarely took the initiative, and she didn’t know what to do.

“You can propose to her,” Liu Wanjun sighed, her tone profound. “She’s a woman too, and always taking the initiative can be tiring.”

Shen Tiantian froze. Could Shan Yi be tired because of this?!

She turned her head to look at the kitchen and suddenly fell silent.

Liu Wanjun glanced at her, “Aren’t you going in to help?!”

Shen Tiantian bit her lip. As Liu Wanjun stood up, she added, “You’re pregnant, so tell her to be more restrained and be mindful of prenatal education.”

Her face turned slightly flushed, and Shen Tiantian dashed into the kitchen like a streak of oil.

Shan Yi saw her coming in again, slightly tilted her head, noticed her flushed face, and chuckled without asking anything.

With the two of them working together, the five dishes and one soup were quickly prepared.

While Shan Yi was doing the final touches, Shen Tiantian brought the fish soup out first.

Liu Wanjun was watching TV, getting almost drowsy from waiting. She yawned and said, “It smells delicious.”

“It’ll be ready soon,” Shen Tiantian smiled and called out, “The fish soup was made by the CEO, and it has a very mild flavor. Do you want to try a sip?”

She had tasted it a little earlier, and it didn’t make her feel nauseous at all.

“The CEO said fish soup is nutritious and good for the baby.”

Unlike Shen Tiantian, Liu Wanjun didn’t suffer from severe morning sickness, and she was already close to three months pregnant. She could enjoy eating almost anything now, but she just didn’t like fish or seafood much.

“She knows quite a lot,” Liu Wanjun joked.

Shen Tiantian chuckled quietly, feeling somewhat proud inside. She wouldn’t tell Liu Wanjun that Shan Yi had been studying pregnancy preparation books diligently these days and taking it very seriously.

After that incident, Shan Yue sent her a lot of books about pregnancy preparation. Sometimes, Shan Yi couldn’t stop reading them, and she didn’t know if she remembered everything, but she was definitely taking good care of Shen Tiantian.

“I’ll go get the dishes,” Shen Tiantian said.

Liu Wanjun pulled a chair and sat down, turning her head to look into the kitchen with a mischievous smile.

There are always such coincidences in the world.

When Shen Tiantian first found out about the pregnancy, she felt helpless and didn’t know what to do. She felt guilty towards her girlfriend and even considered the idea of abortion. After all the chaos, she realized that her one-night stand was her secret crush. This twist of fate was somewhat magical and perhaps a kind of destiny.

She wouldn’t meddle in their affairs, not because she didn’t care, but because she believed that love was a matter between two people, and outsiders should not interfere.

Shen Tiantian brought the dishes out, her smile so sweet it could almost make one feel overwhelmed. They truly looked like a family now.

Shan Yi took off her apron and came out of the kitchen, nearly prompting Liu Wanjun to whistle.

Her light coffee-colored long curly hair was casually tied in a ponytail, revealing delicate collarbones. The slightly tight white t-shirt embraced her ample chest and slender waist, showing a glimpse of fair skin at her waist. The low-waist jeans turned into capri pants but looked perfectly fitting. Her great figure was mesmerizing. Even her hairline was so beautiful. Liu Wanjun sighed inwardly.

Shen Tiantian had seen Shan Yi like this before, but she still found her captivating.

Since returning home from the hospital, Shan Yi hadn’t gone to work and spent all her time with Shen Tiantian. All the changed clothes were from Shen Tiantian’s wardrobe. Due to their slightly different body sizes, the clothes either ended up being too short or too tight, and sometimes Shen Tiantian felt sorry for Shan Yi. She had suggested Shan Yi go back to her place, but Shan Yi said she couldn’t bear to be apart from her and didn’t plan to bring any clothes over. So Shen Tiantian just let her stay.

Shan Yi ignored Liu Wanjun’s gaze and sat down beside Shen Tiantian. “Do you want a glass of milk?”

Liu Wanjun waved her hand, “Absolutely not.”

She never liked drinking plain milk, and since getting pregnant, her mother-in-law had forced her to drink a glass every morning and evening. Just hearing the offer now made her immediately put on a disgusted expression.

These two days, Shen Tiantian had also grown a bit tired of plain milk. She cautiously glanced at Shan Yi and pointed at her finger, saying: “I’d rather have some yogurt.”

“We’ll have it delivered later,” Shan Yi replied.

Shan Yi’s hand, which was placed under the table, rested on Shen Tiantian’s thigh, her eyes filled with tenderness.

Liu Wanjun looked back and forth between the two of them and suddenly felt a bit desolate. Why did she come to witness this?! Though she also had a family, her husband wasn’t here, and now she felt like an oversized third wheel.

“Cough…cough..are you inviting me for dinner, or is this a show for me?” She can see all of this?!

Shen Tiantian was frightened and quickly pulled her hand back.

Tsk tsk, Liu Wanjun shook her head without a good mood.

Initially, she hadn’t noticed them holding hands, but when they made eye contact, she felt like the air was being twisted together. This meal felt a bit hard to swallow.

Shan Yi withdrew her empty hand and smiled calmly, saying, “Sorry.”

Liu Wanjun had just intended to make a playful comment, but after waiting for so long, she also became a bit hungry and started eating without hesitation.

First, she was caught kissing, and now with these little actions, Shen Tiantian was embarrassed by being discovered twice. She kept her head down, eating voraciously, and didn’t dare to look at Shan Yi again.

Shan Yi did not know whether to laugh or cry and reached out to take her bowl, saying, “Let’s have some soup first.”

Shen Tiantian responded with an “oh.”

Liu Wanjun: …

Suddenly, she found herself missing Lin Haozhi. What’s going on here?!

Perhaps it was because Shan Yi’s cooking was so good that Liu Wanjun’s appetite was greatly aroused. She ate a large bowl of rice and even had two bowls of fish soup, which she didn’t particularly like. As Shen Tiantian had said, the tofu in the soup was really fresh and tender.

Shan Yi seemed to understand the taste buds of pregnant women well and was very patient with Shen Tiantian. The eyes never lie, and Liu Wanjun, who had been through society, could still see a few things.

Shen Tiantian found her place in life, and they were happier than anyone else.

Before she came, Shen Tiantian had thought about many things, but she still hadn’t said anything.

Shan Yi was even better than she had imagined.

With her wealth and good looks, Shan Yi could have anyone she wanted. If it wasn’t genuine love, Shen Tiantian probably couldn’t have reached this point.

Liu Wanjun felt like she could finally be at ease. It was already getting a bit late after finishing the meal, and most of the dishes on the table were consumed.

Putting down her chopsticks, Shen Tiantian touched her belly, feeling a bit stuffed. The baby was only a little over a month old, so her stomach was still flat, but her waist had clearly widened a bit. Fortunately, it wasn’t noticeable when she wore clothes.

She had been eating a bit more lately. Every time before a meal, she reminded herself of this, but when it came to eating, she couldn’t control herself.

She remembered that her appetite used to be very small.

Seeing Shen Tiantian’s slightly guilty expression, Shan Yi knew what she was thinking. She habitually ruffled her hair and said, “Stop thinking about it.”

Meanwhile, Liu Wanjun was flossing her teeth: …

She checked her phone; normally, she would be taking a nap at this time. Her phone’s screen went black and then lit up again; it was a call from Lin Haozhi.

Liu Wanjun quickly answered the phone, got up, and walked towards the sofa, calling him “husband” in a coquettish tone.

Shen Tiantian got goosebumps.

She had just been disgusted by their intimate moments ago.

Shan Yi sat for a while before starting to clean up the table, and Shen Tiantian quickly got up to help.

“Sit down,” Shan Yi said, stopping her.

Shen Tiantian glanced at her but didn’t listen, playfully asking, “Did you used to do very little household chores before?!”

Shan Yi remained silent for a few seconds and replied, “I occasionally helped my mom.”

Shen Tiantian gave her a knowing look, her eyes suddenly a bit teary.

How fortunate was she to be treated this way by Shan Yi?!

Shan Yi didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable, so she pinched her cheek and said, “Do you know why I treat you so well?!”

“Why?” Shen Tiantian asked.

Shan Yi smiled, “Because you’re my wife.”

Shen Tiantian blushed and retorted, feeling a bit awkward, “Well, you’re my wife too, but I don’t do anything.”

“But you were just helping me, weren’t you?”

Shen Tiantian blushed even more. Though she said she was helping, all she did was pass bowls and wash some vegetables.

“I need to go back,” Liu Wanjun said, ending her conversation with Mr. Lin.

“Don’t you want to sit for a bit longer?” Shan Yi glanced at her.

Liu Wanjun’s mouth twitched. Sit longer and watch you two show affection?

“No, Hoazi will come to pick me up later.”

Shen Tiantian didn’t mind; even though they didn’t see each other much now, they chatted every day, and not all conversations needed to be in person.

And now that she was pregnant, she complained in the group chat every day about her mother-in-law being too good to her, saying she was turning her into a pig with all the care and food. She had even teased her before about getting a double chin from gaining weight. Looking back, she realized she was no different.

However, Liu Wanjun hadn’t changed much, except for her belly slightly protruding.

“When will he arrive? We’ll send you off,” Shen Tiantian casually asked.

“He’ll be here soon,” Liu Wanjun replied. When she came, she hadn’t brought anything except her phone. She walked to the entrance hall with some effort, her belly making it a bit difficult to put on her shoes. “I have to go downstairs now.”

Shan Yi also came out, holding Shen Tiantian’s small hand.

They watched Liu Wanjun get into the car, and once she left, they returned to their home. As soon as they closed the door, a shadow pressed against Shan Yi, and before she could react, she was kissed.

Shen Tiantian gasped and then responded, encircling her neck.

They kissed for quite a while, and then Shan Yi released her, breathing slightly heavier, pressing her forehead against hers and whispering: “Finally, I can kiss you properly.”

Shen Tiantian chuckled softly, “Looks like you’ve been holding back for a long time.”

“Since we were interrupted in the kitchen,” Shan Yi replied.

Shen Tiantian opened her mouth in surprise, looking amused, “Wow, you’ve been keeping track of time?”

Shan Yi chuckled, “Yes, I made sure she left.”

“Why are you so funny?” Shen Tiantian burst into laughter, but her laughter was soon silenced.

As the temperature in the room rose with their kisses, Shen Tiantian found it hard to breathe. Yet, she heard Liu Wanjun’s words in her mind: “She is also a woman, and always taking the initiative can be tiring.”

The hand that was resting on Shan Yi’s shoulder moved back to encircle her neck, and Shen Tiantian awkwardly tried to kiss her back.

Shan Yi was pleasantly surprised by the gesture.

The kiss lasted for a long time, and the air was filled with soft, murmuring sounds. Shen Tiantian blushed and felt embarrassed but didn’t push her away.

She didn’t know how much time had passed, but Shan Yi finally let go, saying, “I really want to devour you.”

Shen Tiantian’s body felt a bit weak and she snuggled into Shan Yi’s arms, playfully complaining, “My legs are weak.”

Shan Yi chuckled lightly, holding her waist and leading her inside, “You woke up so early today, how about taking a nap?”

Shen Tiantian wanted to nod but said, “I just ate, so I don’t feel like sleeping.”

“How about watching some TV then?”

Shen Tiantian hummed in agreement, kicked off her shoes, and rested her head on Shan Yi’s lap.

Although she said she didn’t want to sleep, she couldn’t help but close her eyes after lying down.

The TV was playing some idol drama, with the main characters in a heated argument, and the volume was a bit loud, which startled Shen Tiantian awake.

Shan Yi quickly lowered the volume and changed the channel, patting her back like comforting a cat, “It’s okay, it’s okay.”

Shen Tiantian rubbed against Shan Yi’s thigh and tried to focus on the TV, but the domestic drama was like a lullaby, and before long, she fell asleep again.

Shan Yi’s attention never left Shen Tiantian as she watched her. When she saw her fall asleep, she immediately turned off the TV and gently lifted her from the sofa.

Her grip wasn’t strong, and carrying Shen Tiantian was a bit difficult, but she managed to steady herself and let out a heavy breath as she placed her back on the bed.

Perhaps due to recent indulgence and lack of exercise, there didn’t seem to be much change on the surface, but she couldn’t deny that Shen Tiantian had gained some weight compared to the last time.
