Power Grading:

F (Trash Items)

E (Common Items)

D (Uncommon Items)

C (Rare Items)

B (Exceptional Items)

A (Treasure Items)

S (Divine Items)

SS (Godly Items)

SSS (The Greatest Items in that specific world)

EX (Abnormal Items which defy the laws of that specific world)

(Items and tools were used as an example. EX-graded Items don't necessarily have to be stronger or more durable than SSS-graded ones, but they have to break the established rules of that world on a fundamental level)

The skills, level tiers, item grades, and relationsh.i.p.s, are defined with intervals (1000 or above, in rare circ.u.mstances) to show an individual's general strength, be it physical, emotional or mental (it's just a rough estimate). When a grade reaches 1000, and if the person in question has enough potential, it then becomes possible to reach a higher grade, thus gaining a higher strength in physical and mental combat:

(ex. B-1000 → A-0)

Mind you, these grades scale locally to the current world and can be higher or lower depending on the next world our Protagonist chooses to visit.
