Lena didn't have any idea in mind of what she wanted to wear for the engagement party. She had been too busy to give it much thought and thus ended up coming to the boutique with no idea in mind of what would look good or what kind of theme they should got with since Samuel didn't have any ideas either.

There was no problem in terms of style, color, and size. It was just an issue of picking the right color and style that would fit for their engagement party. The woman who had been assigned to help her pick out what outfit would look good was trying her best to help out, but with Lena not having anything in mind, she was coming across as a touch difficult to work with even though she was saying that she wasn't that picky. Unlike Samuel, she already had been previously measured for what size would be the best fit for her.

It also didn't help that she was still partly distracted by what had happened earlier at work. Marcus was definitely someone that she needed to keep an eye on. The fact that he mentioned that she had something that she had something he was interested in didn't sit well with her.

"How about this one? I think that might match well with your hair and isn't a form fitting but not too much. It's also not as long as some of the other dresses we have here." The assistant asked as she held up a rose gold knee-length chiffon dress. It looked elegant but not contain as much of the flow and frills that a number of the other dresses did. Lena tilted her head as she stood up from the seat she had taken to get a better look at it. She couldn't deny that the color was nice. It stood out but wasn't too bold which was something she would appreciate. The rose gold probably wouldn't look that bad with her hair either. It was a bit long for her short size, but it wasn't anything that a little bit of altering couldn't fix if the length bothered her.

"I will try this one, but can you tie my hair back for me first, Jill? I think it will get in the way with the zipper." The princess requested as she took the dress from the assistant who name's she gained from the nametag she was wearing.

"Could you also find a similar dress in a dark blue and black?" She then requested as the assistant carefully tied her hair back, making sure that it was not too tight.

"Absolutely. If you want to go back to where the changing room is located, I will bring the other dresses to you. Are you also looking for some jewelry or shoes to go with it?" Lena closed her eyes as she thought about it for a second. All the little things that she hadn't had time to consider.

"Sure, I've never really worn rose gold though, so I trust you to find something you think that would compliment it as well as the other two dresses if I decided to go with something different." She told the young woman before heading off towards the dressing room.

Despite always being referred to as a princess, she didn't much like dresses or anything else that princess were usually thought to wear and style themselves. She always leaned more towards clothing that were similar in style to what men wore. Considering her position of power, she felt that it was better fitting for her and made people take her more seriously than if she worse a dress or other froufrou style outfits that a lot of girls her age seemed to enjoy. Plus they were just a hassle to take care of. For events such as this, she understood the importance of keeping to more traditional apparel however.

The Rose gold dress did fit her well and she rather liked the way it looked on her. The only issue was the fact that even with her hair pulled back, she couldn't easily reach the zipper herself which meant that she was going to have to ask the assistant for help so that she could see how it looked once it was fully zipped up. Another annoyance.

"Jill, can you please help me with zipping this up. The zipper is a little lower than I expected." Lena asked as she stepped out of the dressing room. She was caught off guard stepping out however as Samuel was standing towards the front of the room. He was wearing an emerald suit with a black tie. He looked a touch lost and uncertain as to whether or not he should've been there, but the princess couldn't deny that he looked far more charming in the suit than he did in his normal clothing.

"I'm sorry, let me put these dresses down and I will take care of that for you. Would you like the zipper placed higher as one of the altercations for the dress?" Jill asked as she hurried to help Lena get her dress zipped up and made sure it was in place properly.

"Yes. I will also need the size to be shortened a bit either. I want it to end at my knees and as you can see, it misses the mark by more than a little bit." She replied as she indicated to the way that the dress went down almost to her ankles.

"I can get both taken care of for you. Are you thinking about sticking with this dress?" Jill asked as she stepped back from the Lena who was double checking the dress in the length mirror that was provided.

"For now. I need to discuss it with my fiancé, but if that is what he intends to wear, I don't think that it would be a bad fit." She tilted her head in the direction of where Samuel was standing as she spoke.

"Give me a chance to go and talk with him and then I'll come back to give you your answer."  She told the assistant as she started to walk over to where Samuel was standing.
