Attack On Titan: Alternate

"Damn it!" Reiner smashed his fists down while panting heavily while Bertholdt watch. They were both exhausted from escaping the titan group Eren had sent after them. They both had no idea what to do now, they originally thought it would be best to get a titan to eat him. Then kidnap the person who would become the new Titan holder. However, that went down the drain, the next thing they thought of was Yimir. She was also a titan shifter but couldn't get her to their side, she was too attached to Historia. The only thing they could do now was wait for Zeke to step in.

The two of them believed that Zeke would know what to do and could complete their mission. They both had been stuck on this island for too long, it was making their heads hurt. Bertholdt seemed to feel that Reiner was getting worse, mentally, by staying here. That was why he wanted to go back as quick as possible. Now without a proper plan, the two of them had to wait in this daft place for longer.

On the other side, Eren and his group had returned and settled down in a small farm. The group quickly fell asleep, while Eren and Yimir were up talking to Zoe. Zoe talked too much until late.

"So, can we experiment with you two for a bit. Prettty pleaseee" With twinkling in her eyes, the two shifted uncomfortably before agreeing due to Zoe's pestering. They retreated into their rooms for the night.

The next morning, Eren and Yimir were escorted to a secure area to test. Zoe and a bunch of soliders were there looking at the two Shifters. Eren seemed to not feel the tense atmosphere as he walked towards Zoe. Yimir followed behind while observing the long pieces of wood.

"Hey you two!" Zoe shouted. "Shall we get started? Who wants to go first?" With a bit of awkward silence, Eren went up. He walked to an open area, looked down at his hand and bit. With a flash of yellow light, the titan was standing there looking down at the humans.

Zoe marvelled at the sight while she shouted at him "Ok Eren, what i want you to do is take those wooden poles and put them together!" The Titan slowly looked at the wooden poles and nodded. The ground shook slightly as he walked over, Eren crouched down and started to layout the wood. Even though he was in his titan form, he was still able to carefully put the structure together with ease. After he completed it, he got up and looked over to Zoe. Her face was full of smiles as she shouted again "Oh my god, that's amazing Eren, you can stop now!" He nodded, while his titan form collapsed as he got out.

Eren took a deep breath in and looked around, he slowly got out of the body and walked back over to where Zoe and Yimir was standing. "am i done now?" he sighed.

"Yup all done, there might be other tests. but don't worry too much" Zoe answered as she turned to Yimir. "Now its your turn" Yimir, with an indefferent look walked over and transformed. Her titan was much smaller and seemed to be much more agile. Zoe nodded and did some tests. One of them was a speaking test. She would ask a question and Yimir would have to reply to it

"Ok, let's see. Yimir, whats your favourite food?" Yimir looked at her and opened the titan mouth.

"My fav-ite food is Meat" Although they understood what Yimir had said in her titan form, the speech was a little mumbled and mixed like someone who was speaking for the first time. Zoe heard the reply and smiled creepily, she looked towards Eren who stared at her weirdly. After a few more tests, Zoe was content and asked Yimir to come out. Yimir ripped her body away and walked over.

As the test was over, they talked for a bit about the results. "Why cant you speak in your titan form, Eren?" Zoe asked. He just scratched the back of his head and said he didnt know. Yimir cut in and said "It might have something to do with the titan, due to my mouth being similar to a humans, i can speak. By looking at Eren jaw on the titan, his seemed more for other activities."

Zoe nodded and was about to speak however Yimir looked like she though of something important. "What about Annie and Aria? I think Arias titan form can speak." They looked at her as she shrugged and didn't say more.

"Hmm, then we should invite them back to test more. It also seems that they are not on the enemy's side so i don't see why not?" Zoe said while her hands were hard at work writing test results in a book.

In a small cabin, Aria looked up and through the window. Seeing the rising sun, she smiled and looked down next to her. Seeing Annie sleeping, she smiled and slowly got up. Stretching her body, Aria walked towards the kitchen and prepared some food for the both of them. The smell drifted throughout the cabin and into Annie's nose. Her eyes shot open and rushed towards the kitchen.

Seeing Annie rush into the kitchen, Aria laughed and set down two plates of food onto the table. They both sat down and started eating. "What are we doing today, i feel so board waiting here" Annie complained.

Aria smiled and said "We are going back and meeting with Zoe Hanji and some others of the scouting corps" Annie looked over in surprise. "What! They hate us don't they?"

Aria smiled "It's different this time, its actually good for us too go back. I can also say it was getting boring just waiting here." Annie nodded. "When are we going then?"

"Let us finish, then we can depart."

They finished their food then left their cabin. The two of them stood outside while Annie stood there confused "How do we get there?"

"I got that covered" Aria quickly grabbed Annie's hand. "What are yo-" Before she could speak, the two of them disappeared from the spot.
