Chapter 32: A Perfect Clear

Similar to the previous boss, the party got one gear and several pieces of plans and blueprints.

Nocturne got the recipe, Clawcrusher, which was a two-handed hammer. The other plans and blueprints were taken by Beitang Meng since no one could use them here.

“Hohoho, would you look at that? A recipe for lobsters?! You must make it for us to try after we end the dungeon,” said Wind&Rum.

“Of course. I’ll cook for everyone when we finish the dungeon,” Nocturne said as he kept the recipe away.

The makrura boss was a pain to tanks, both Nocturne and Wind&Rum felt how irritating it was and they both wanted to have some lobster later.

“The mechanical squirrel is quite interesting. You can even craft display pets? It’s just a little bit ugly,” Meowmeow Tang ridiculed when she had a closer look at the preview picture.

“It’s because you don’t know anything about mechanical beauty.” For once, ILikeDPS said something to counter Meowmeow Tang.

After the loot distribution, Nocturne continued fishing.

The crabs came back after the lobsters and it seemed like there was a pattern for the boss to appear.

They had to kill a dozen of the smaller ones first before getting to the boss.

Compared to the makrura, the crab monster was a lot friendlier to tanks. It only had one AOE skill and barely used it in battle. The only downside was the tough shell that had a Counter effect.

Fortunately, the crab barely did anything before the group took it down with concentrated fire.

Frost Robe was a blue cloth armor, so it was given to ILikeDPS.

Both the skill book and the recipe were given to Nocturne again; Beitang Meng kept the rest.

Another halo skill and this time, this passive Thorny Halo could ignore the target’s Defense and reflect holy damage. Nocturne was happy about it.

“Yeah, it’s difficult to get bags in the game. I’m still using the 12 slots and an extra 14 slots one, and I’m running out of space.”

Nocturne cried in his heart as the conversation entered his ears. As expected of someone from a big guild, every single one of them sounded rich.

He himself only had a 12 slots bag and everyone else had 12 slots plus 14 slots together.

After Nocturne came back to the real world, he went to the toilet first before preparing lunch.

Since he had to continue fishing back in the game, he had a brief lunch before he went back online.

When he got back into the game, he realized he was the last one to arrive.

There was still light in the sky but the campfire in the dungeon was already burning. Every tent also had a lamp in front to provide a better view at night. At least they could fight monsters at night now with the lamps.

The party rushed Nocturne to continue fishing. This time, he got a turtle instead.

The smaller turtles were not a problem but the turtle boss was a pain in the ass for them.

The turtle boss had low damage but ridiculously high Defense, it even had a regeneration skill.

The party consisted of mostly physical damage classes, everyone relied on weapons to attack. It was a pain to hit the tough turtle boss with their tiny weapons.

In the end, the one that inflicted the most damage was ILikeDPS, the healer.

It was not exactly a difficult fight but the dungeon had a time limit. The longer the party used to kill the boss, the lesser the reward.

The turtle boss’ HP was decreasing at a painfully slow pace, so painfully slow that everyone’s heart was bleeding.

Fortunately, despite the ridiculously high HP, the party was able to take it down in the end.

The skill book was none of Nocturne’s business but the ring and pauldrons were suitable for a tank.

Beitang Meng simply gave each of them one.

Nocturne got the ring in the end.

He did not expect the final clear reward would be all fishing gear. Nocturne happily took everything.

“It’s nothing. We are just helping each other. If you were not here fishing, we wouldn’t get all these either,” Beitang Meng replied courteously.

“So did we clear the dungeon?” Meowmeow Tang asked.

“I think it should be over but we are not in a rush, let me fish for a little bit more.”

Nocturne used his new fishing rod and tried fishing.

Then, he realized this dungeon was unlike the other normal ones. Even though they cleared the dungeon, he could still fish monsters from the water but not the bosses.

The monsters would still drop a certain amount of Angler’s Paradise Coins, so everyone enjoyed the overtime.

The drops should be this dungeon’s unique design. The faster the party cleared the dungeon, the more time they had to kill monsters for coins, hence more coins for them to exchange items with the NPC.

The party carried on until 5.30 p.m. before the dungeon officially ended.

Then, it was the most exciting time of the dungeon: prize exchange.
