“Hunters, clear the mobs that are going for the healers, don’t let those monsters disturb the process,” Beitang Meng said after realizing the situation.

The legion’s priority should be the healers, otherwise if the healing stream got disrupted, the boss would be able to wipe them out.

As expected, after the Hunters led the little monsters away, the situation started to get under control.

Hunters were equipped with chainmail, their Defense was only second to plate, so they were able to take on several Fire Cloud Hornets at a time. Moreover, the hornets’ attack was nothing to be worried about, only their double element attack was a problem.

After the healing stream stabilized, things got easier. All the DPS classes helped to clear out the smaller hornets and the swarm was wiped out in an instant.

Even though the summon took out quite a number of players, it did not wipe out the entire legion. Since everyone had experienced it once, they would know how to react the next time the queen summoned her swarm.

As the boss’ HP gradually dropped, it summoned another swarm of hornets at 25% HP. With experience under their belts, the legion handled the situation a lot better. Even though there were some casualties, which could not be helped, it did not mess up the pace.

At the later stage of the fight, all Garheral did was blasting fire and summoning hornets to her aid. Though at 5% HP, the Fury stage became quite troublesome for the legion.

Sweep was used more frequently and it heavily damaged the melee classes, hence increasing pressure for the healers.

In the end, even Wind&Rum could not hold on. She had to swap out with other tanks to continue the fight.

Even though the boss got slightly better resistance at Provoke after having it cast multiple times, its HP had dropped low enough for the legion to swiftly take it out.

Nothing out of the blue happened and the legion managed to concentrate their attacks on the boss, taking it out in the end.

The moment the boss went down, everyone who survived cheered loudly.

It was the first time Nocturne experienced the lively atmosphere of a guild.

“Meowmeow, what are you waiting for? Come and touch the body!”

“Okay! Coming!”

“I’m quite curious why Wind&Rum always asks you to touch the body, why doesn’t she touch it herself?”

“Between you and me, Beitang and Rum plus another Mage, who is not here, are known as the people with the worst luck in our guild. As expected from getting First Blood on a world boss, the drop rate was off the charts! Four exalted blue gear, three skill books, a prescription and a plan!

“Good job everyone. The points for this raid will be distributed later based on your performance. Now, it’s time to distribute the loot.”

The distribution of loot using the guild system had a strict set of rules but Nocturne had never been in one and had no idea what the rules were. All he knew was that the guild would distribute points based on the member’s performance and the points had multiple uses.

The points could be used to exchange for gear that matched one’s class so that the player could better perform in a boss raid.

However, Nocturne had just joined the guild, so he did not have any points at the moment, hence no items for him.

The first one would be Firefin Chest Plate. Other than normal Strength and Stamina boost, the chest plate also added some Fire Resistance, it even had a special effect that could absorb 50 Fire damage and recover as HP.

In the end, Wind&Rum got it by bidding a high price.

Blazing Blade was a one-handed sword with a special effect of landing Burn effect on a target at a certain chance. It was taken away by some Rogue.

Blazing Gem and Staff of Wrath were standard Fire Elemental Mage exclusive weapons since the effects boosted a ton of Fire damage. Staff of Wrath even gave a huge surge to the Fireball spell and Faraway Song got it; Blazing Gem was taken by another Elemental Mage.

As for the three more skill books, Beitang Meng got one for herself, Skill Book: Poison.

The other two were Mages skills. Blink, a common displacement skill for Mages; Fire Blast, an instant burst skill for Fire Elemental Mages.

Both skill books were taken by an Arcane Mage and Elemental Mage respectively.

The plan and prescription were kept by Beitang Meng, she wanted to put them into the guild storage for their respective lifestyle classes.

“Okay, the event is over. Everyone is free to go now.” Beitang Meng called the team off since the boss raid was over.

After that, most of the players teleported away using a teleport scroll, some of them partied up and continued leveling in the valley.

Following the rise of major guilds, the First Blood of different world bosses happened frequently in the past few days and the ranking list had taken a big shuffle.
