"A new Guardian has arrived from The Traveler and it's a Hunter. Best class ever." Well, glad I'm the best class ever! Okay, thanks!

"Titans rule the tower. We all know that." Ego much?

"No. Warlocks rule the tower because not only are they powerful, they see things beyond what the eyes can see." I feel like they just want to be the knows it alls.

Wow, rumors go around quick and I just got here.

So, I guess we have Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks. But would that matter to me? And why does it matter if there's a new Guardian that just arrived? I thought this was an everyday thing? I guess not. Point taken.

I followed Ghost to what seems like a hall entrance. I looked around noticing robots were sweeping in corners. Robots. Sweeping. Corners. Where were these things when I was alive? Life would have been so much easier. I also noticed other Guardians running around enjoying each other's company while talking to each other, but I could feel their eyes following me like prey in the wild. It was making me uncomfortable.

"Hey, do they follow every new Guardian with preying eyes?" I whispered to The Ghost.

"Not really, I'm weirded out and I'm not human. I just ignored them. But listen, the two we just walked by is Shaxx and his robot, Arcite 99-40. Shaxx runs the crucible and Arcite sells weapons for the crucible. And before you ask, you're not ready."

"I wasn't going to ask, but okay," I said softly while continuing to walk slowly. I turned around and noticed there's a lounge chair that sits under a wall piece that looks like the same symbol as the crucible flags. There's a bunch of crates that probably have items in them for both Shaxx and Arcite. Also noting, they both have desks so they have to be mentors or part of the Vanguard. Right behind Arcite, there's a bookshelf, I wonder what they're about. I wonder if there's anything about the Golden Age.

"Ikora, Cayde, Zavala." Hearing the Ghost call out these people's names I stopped at the top of the stairs. I stood tall even though I'm nervous. I gulped trying to calm my nerves as I looked at each of their eyes. We have a human in a purple garb, almost close to the Queen's uniforms, but seems more comforting. I see another Awoken, except he has luminescent blue eyes that seem cold and is all suited up and ready for war at any moment. Lastly, an Exo that seemed to in similar garb as me as well. His eyes seem like they been through a lot. I wouldn't mind hearing his story. I shook my thoughts as I walked down carefully hearing each tap from my boots beneath me. I licked my lower lip trying not to embarrass myself as I stood at the end of the table. I bowed my head in respect as I looked around. Staff members were on computers that seemed to be more upgraded than what I'm used to. I see charts with graphs on them and I don't know from what though. Behind the Awoken there was a glowing orb that was mounted within three pillars. Then we have a huge glass window looking out to the night sky as I see guns waiting to fire. Hoping we don't need to use them any time soon For a big room, the table was small. But around the table, nothing but room and it's driving me crazy. But I guess it's for the walk-away around them. But I see more books all around. I wonder if they're the Warlocks prize procession. Other than that just boxes and tables filling the empty spaces. Simple.

"Ghost, is this the Guardian you picked up from the Cosmodrome?" The lady asked. "If so, something about her...I can't put my finger on it."

"Yes, this is her. Name is Silvia Luna Rose." The Ghost responded. I stood there silent because I don't even know what to say or do so I just stood here. "She fought the Fallen and escaped well."

"Fallen? Close to the surface? Silvia, go to Earth and return to the Fallen territory and hunt for parts to restore your ship's ability for interplanetary travel." The Awoken spoke. I nodded and accepted the quest. Yep, I called it, kill and survive is my life now.

"Hey, Hunter before you go, upgrade your gun. Banshee is upstairs in the corner. He will hook you up, say Cayde sent you there and he will understand." I nodded.

"Also, go see Cryptarch. He should have armor for you as well. Just say Ikora sent you to him." I nodded again.

So, the Hunter is Cayde, the Warlock is Ikora, that leaves the Titan to be Zavala. Understood. I turned on my heel and left the room. However, before I left the room I heard Zavala.

"These people can't do anything right!" I chuckled as I walked by Shaxx and Arcite again but stopped after I spotted a lady underneath the staircase. She had a glowing green rock in her hand and three eyes total. One was on her forehead. Each eye was a yellow-green. I never saw these eyes before in my life. Especially my past life if you want to call it that now. They were eerie. She had black stuff running down her face and she kept saying "shadow and light, shadow and light." I walked by her and the stench she had was death. Pure death. Nothing I have ever smelled before nor do I want too.

"That's Eris Morn. The only survivor of the Dark Below from the 5 that was with her. She is the only one that survived the darkness from below." Ghost whispered in my ear as we both slowly walked by her hoping I don't have to interact with her any time soon. Making my way to the top, I looked around. I turned to my left to go up some more stairs and see that there's another Exo, except he's working on weapons.

"Banshee? Cayde sent me here to get a new weapon. What you have?"

Banshee looked up at me as he stopped cleaning his weapon. I stepped back because I don't know what he's about to do. But instead, he nodded.

"Auto? Hand Cannon? Pulse?" He asked crossing his arms as he waited for me. I'm good with Auto. Hand Cannons, barely, and Pulse, they annoyed me.

"Auto." He gave me the one he was cleaning, coincidence? Not only that, it looks like the one I have now. Black and with a red-eye scope. I like it. Does the job. Ghost scanned and placed it in my inventory. "Do you know where the Cryptarch is?" He pointed his finger below him and I nodded I was just about to leave but he spoke once again.

"Guardian," His yellow eyes stared into me. "Be careful out there."

"Thank you. I will." I nodded as I ran down the side and before I saw another Awoken. He was purple as well with Yellow eyes. I tapped his shoulder and he looked up from his booth. He smiled and crossed his arm.

"Anything you need madam? Ikora sent you here didn't she?" I nodded.

"Aha, the new Guardian needs armor. Lucky enough one of my friends has sent me some encryption." He smiled at me as he handed me a stash of clothes that included c.h.e.s.t armor, boots, gauntlets, pants, and a cloak. Full suit. Good.

"Thank you for this. The question, what's your name?" He chuckled lowly as he points at himself.

"Master Rahool. Now go! I'm busy!" I ran passed him as I met up with Ghost.

"Now, you got everything to let me scanned and I let me work my magic."

"What?!" It was too late as he ready scanned the clothes and me. Within seconds he already placed my new gear on. I feel a bit lighter actually. I kicked my foot out and seen some leather boots that fit perfectly and again comfortably. I checked my gauntlets as they were brown and leather. I tightened my fist to make sure my grip was good and indeed it was. I looked at my c.h.e.s.t piece, it was white with an armor that seems like it could protect me from being shot at for a short time. That's what I needed. And my pants were white to match. Good! I don't look like a total mess. I pulled my short cloak out from behind so I can see what color it was and it was white well so everything is matching and was light.

"Now if you can get rid of those old garbs for me real quick. We can go. Transport me into the ship and let's get to work."

"Alright! Transmitting in three, two, one."

And I was in the seat of my ship in the air. I think I like autopilot. Comes in handy.

~~~
"There is so little left out here. We were lucky to even find this ship. A Guardian can't do much to protect the City without one. But it needs a warp drive of we ever hope to fight beyond Earth, and that Cosmodrome is the only place I know we might still find one. We survived the Fallen once...we can do it again."
"Well, quick yapping and let's get busy. You chose me as a Guardian, we can't doubt ourselves now." I controlled the ship while we were in sight of the cosmodrome. Parking my ship back on a ledge that overlooked a river and across from it, I could see the Wall that I ran out of. I opened the hatch as I climbed out jumped down to the ground. My helmet was on and I began to observe the area.
"Ghost, can you-" Before I asked I was already across the river and on the ground steadily. I held my gun down by my side as I looked around. Nothing. Straight silence except the wind rustling in the trees and the birds chirping. So far so good.
"Oh look, A Guardianship was recently shot down here. If the Fallen haven't got to it, there might be parts we can salvage."
"Lead the way," I say as I flipped my hood over my face from the cloak and began to follow his mediocrity. I looked to the left and right and behind to make sure nothing could flank us. The ship was only 30 feet away from us and but still didn't want to let my guard down. Hearing him scanning I seen a rock that was propped up and sat down on it as he was having fun with the ship.
"The ship avionics are completely catatonic, but I can cull their last transmission."
"Play it," I say as I leaned in closer as I brought my legs to my c.h.e.s.t. The message was gargle. Whoever was talking, they were talking about some tunnels.
"They managed to restore an information hub here, down in the tunnels now. We should check it out."
"Agreed."
I got myself up and jumped down from the rock and had my rifle up to my face. The rifle is slightly heavier than the one before but this one, the scope on here is amazing. I wonder if they have piercing rounds. We shall see. Following the Ghost I noticed trailers but they had Fallen around them. I slid behind a rock ledge that was facing them. Thinking quickly I turned to Ghost.
"Ghost come here! Switch to my sniper." Sliding behind a rock, I felt my gun heavier and seen a longer barrel. I leaned up against the rock and used it to my advantage. "Duck!" I shouted a whisper as I looked through the scope and shot off a Fallen head, seeing the Ether explode is oddly exciting. Bam! Another one. Bam! Another one! Bam! Another one. "Ghost auto again" I jumped over the rock and ran towards them. They tried to shoot at me but I was quick with my finger that was on the trigger. One head popped off and the last one tried to come behind me but I kicked it from behind and turned around and shot the head off while he was laying on the ground. "I swear hate these damn things." I turned around and ran down some steps with my gun held tightly in my grip. Surprisingly nothing came from the shadows. I ran down another set of steps, nothing again. So I ran through some open doors and down a hall that leads into a half-lit room.
"A map of the entire area." Ghost said but I was ignoring him as I kept my eyes behind him and in front of me. "What we need to find is a warp drive so we can jump to any planet or moon. Our only hope is where we found our ship. We have to go back."
"Fine by me." I jumped in front of him and went back the same way as we came in and the dead Fallen that I killed were lying helplessly on the cold ground. I hope they understand that's exactly how I felt when they killed me. Bastards.
Ghost went ahead of me and I followed right behind and I wasn't far off. I jumped in the air and next thing you know, I was flying. But my landing wasn't perfect because who knew I could fly? So I did it again until the ghost leads me to some steps again. Who needs a work out when you climbing stairs? I climbed them and when I went into the hole like a door and I noticed in the corner of my eye that there was another c.h.e.s.t. The Traveler might like me at me the moment. "Ghost." He did his thing, scanned and unlocked it and it opened. Ghost scanned it and what was in there is now in my inventory. "Switch my gauntlets for better ones please." Ghost came in front of me and scanned my body before the new one placed on me that was black leather and I felt stronger. That's the word, stronger and I love it! He should know the drill, dispose of the other one because I don't need it anymore.
Anyways, I continued my way in the building and Ghost was right, we would have to go back in here but I can feel the darkness instead. But my power is overpowering it. So hopefully I live. "Scanning for the warp drive. Bad news; it's ready in Fallen hands." Oh great. Just great. I sigh as I pranced my way in. "I hope you're ready for this."
"Ready for what?" And with that being said, the screeches are ringing my ears, even with my helmet on. I ran and slid behind a pillar and counted, one, two, three and went to work. I turned around there was a quiet a few of them but it wasn't anything I could handle. I popped their heads off while the Ghost transmitted a clip of ammo in my hand and traded the old one out. I continued to kill them like they were murderers, essentially that's what they were, murderers. Ether was everywhere on the ground, nothing the rain can't wash. About 7 dead Fallen was on the ground. I smiled and nodded at Ghost.
"It's in the Wall!"
"What?!" I turned around and this huge beetle looking thing came from the hole. I jumped back and slid while the ground vibrated from his stomp. What the hell is this thing?! I grabbed my knife and I threw it at one of the Fallen's head and watched him go down. I ran to go pick my knife up, but something caught me off guard. Flames were sparking instantly when I threw it but I don't have flame abilities. Do I? Once I had my knife I threw it again at a floating robot mouse looking thing and it blew up. Come on they won't stop coming!
"Use the light, Guardian." That voice, who was it? Use the light? So you know what, I pretended I threw something in the air and what do you know, a fireball grenade popped up and they instantly die. Hell is this?! But I had no time to think but I felt a strong power in me to the point I yelled because it was like build up rage. My rifle disappeared as my body became engulf of flames and my weapon is now a hand cannon. I looked at this monster and shot one, two, three rounds into his head and watch him drop to the ground. Once I shot three, that power was gone and I was back to my normal self. I dropped to my hands and knees as I catch my breath.
"Explain that!"
"Well, that...That was the light that the Traveler gave you. That's only the beginning Silvia. However, what you just killed, was an Archon. I got the warp drive but we need to see the speaker, fast."
This life becomes weirder and weirder. It seems I have no choice but to accept my fate.
~~~

We got to the Tower but I was quite the whole way here. I have powers that I can't explain and that's even scarier than me waking up from the dead. And waking up from the dead is scary. I sighed as I followed the Ghost to the west side of the Tower where people were sitting and talking amongst themselves until I walked in. They were hushed. Like Ghost say, ignore them. This area seems nice. Earthy. Red leaf trees everywhere with lounges underneath them. It seems cozy enough to nap or even read.

"There was a time when we were much more powerful. But that was long ago. Until it wakes and finds its voice, I am the one who speaks for the Traveler."

I walked up the steps that lead me to a railing with a full lengthened window that showed the snowy ball hovering over the city which I now know it's The Traveler.

"You must have no end questions, Guardian. In its dying breath, The Traveler created the Ghost to seek out those who can wield its Light as a weapon-Guardians-to protect us and do what The Traveler itself no longer can."

My left brow rose to that statement, "What happens to it?"

"I could tell you of the great battles centuries ago, how the Traveler was crippled. I could tell you of the power of the darkness, its ancient enemy. There are many tales told throughout the city to frighten children. Lately, those tales have stopped. Now...the children are frightened anyway. The darkness is coming back. We will not survive."

That last part was what I was afraid of. This world going to end and even the Speaker has doubts. "Its armies surround us. The Fallen are just the beginning." The Ghost spoke.

I knew this was going to be my fate, almost as if it's my destiny. Do I accept it or do I run away knowing it's death on the other side? I have choices. Try and fight so the people don't go through what I did? Or be a coward and hideaway? Queen, what should I do? I sighed, even hearing how the Fallen is just the beginning is terrifying. As long as I have the light, I should be okay, right? "What should I do?"

"You must push back the darkness. Guardians are fighting on Earth and beyond. Join them. Your Ghost will guide you. I only hope he chose wisely."

I already have second thoughts and he didn't seem like he thought highly of me. This is going to be challenging.

"I did. I'm sure of it." Thank you, Ghost. That helped a little bit. Protect me. I protect you.

Watching the speaker leave I stare at The Traveler. "You better not fail me." I turned away and walked down the steps. Let's see what Zavala has for me now. But right now, I want food and a nap.
