Halfway across the world, on an island that sported two volcanoes and a wide array of biomes, an ugly and disturbing race started its own ascent in power.

As the camera Jay operated slowly panned the world looking for interesting things, he came across a talent and immediately marked the young baby. Since this particular race reaches adulthood fairly quickly, Jay didn't have to wait too long for some progress. He watched on with a warm smile as he viewed the ugly green creatures.

Moxar was taller than his Goblin horde brethren, and he had developed much firmer and denser muscles than all his other litter-mates. Moxar had realized very early on that he was different from the other goblins, as he grew more over the months.

Moxar was about twice as large as the average adult warrior Goblin by the time he had reached his puberty end date. This entire time, Moxar hadn't slacked off either, though many would say that Moxar had done exactly that.

Since Moxar had attained rational thought at 4 weeks old, he had trained. All the way until he was 10 months old, he had trained. He had laid down and closed his eyes, then he would get rid of all the unnecessary thoughts in his head.

At this time, it would feel like his mind was floating on a lake, and its surface was calm and undisturbed. This was the best way he could describe it so far. Moxar would then imagine himself or an imaginary enemy opposite him.

When this enemy appeared before Moxar, they would fight it out until one of the two loses. Whether he was fighting a copy of himself, another tribesmen, or even an imaginary enemy, he always made the enemy stronger than himself, and continually challenged himself to grow and come up with new and fun ways to fight within the imaginary world.

This did have effects when fighting as well. Back when Moxar was 4 months old, he ran into a powerful monster that was guarding some type of herb or plant. Moxar lost that fight, barely injuring the monster. Then Moxar went back to recover and train once more. After a month of recovery and training, Moxar went and rechallenged the beast.

Once again, Moxar lost against the beast, but this time the beast was actually forced to sustain an few injuries from Moxars attack! Moxar repeated the Sam's process a month later and finally, after risking his life 3 times in a row, Moxar beat down and killed the beast!

Moxar, in his absolute state of ecstasy, rushed and devoured the plants that the monster was guarding without a second thought. Then Moxar started to feel sick, and he rushed back to the cave.

Moxar had barely made it, and as he got to his spot, his whole body erupted in pain as he flopped around like a fish out of water. Many other goblins were worried about him as he writhed in pain, but figured it was probably because Moxar fought the beats again. They stopped feeling pity shortly after.

After passing out from the pain, and waking up 2 days later, Moxar had found that there was a lot of black mud all over his body! It stunk too! As a filthy Goblin, even he was repulsed!

Moxar quickly ran to a shallow pond and washed off all the black mud. As he did so, he felt the difference as he bathed. His breathing was easier than before, his eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and tongue all seemed to be "better". His entire world seemed much sharper and easier to discern now and when he looked at his Goblin horde brethren, he could now see a faint white outline appearing around them.

Moxar quickly realized that this was their strength as when he got close to a warrior Goblin, the outline was much thicker. Having realized that he gained some odd abilities, Moxar became even more excited and continued on his training path.

Now, the day of his maturity had come. Moxar eagerly awaited his system. Moxar could apply as a warrior with his current strength and easily be stronger than everyone else, but that was not what he wanted. Moxar simply wanted to continue training.

Moxar waited in his area of the cave quietly, away from other goblins. Suddenly, new information flooded his brain and it took him several minutes to comprehend everything that was contained within.

Moxar whispered quietly with a smile,"I see…" then he uttered in heart,'Status!'

Moxar smiled as he looked at all his attributes, skills and the like. He had a frown when he read "Student-Slave". He was no other goblins slave!

Moxar was also immensely curious about what the "Shadow Merge (Sealed)" meant. He understood it meant that he couldn't use that skill, but what can make it so he can use that skill?

Suddenly, 5 other goblins came into the area of the cave where he resided. They called out,"Moxar! You have been summoned by the chief to display your talents and skills!"

Moxar frowned and then walked towards the chief's residence. As Moxar walked towards the hut, he didn't notice the evil smiles and wicked grins plastered on the faces of those goblins who had called him over.
