Douluo Dalu: Legend Of Xiao Yan

Team Shrek Ten Commandments and Emperor Team both stood on opposite sides, they were all silent but their glares on their opponents were intense.

All of their spirits were released.

Dai Mubai's body expanded, his bones making cracking sounds, his hands turned into sharp claws that could easily slice iron. Although his face is covered entirely by a mask, it still couldn't cover up his unmistakable savage aura; waiting for the moment he could finally pounce on his prey.

Xiao Yan's spirit, Heavy Xuan Ruler, appeared stabbed into the ground in front of him with his right hand on its handle. Three flickering spirit rings appeared spiraled around his spirit; one purple and two black.

He stood with a straighten posture, his figure valiant and proud as he stared at Medusa and her team with a unwavering gaze.

Tang San moved back, his three purple and one black spirit rings appeared around his body, blue-purple colored Blue Silver Grass sprouted and covered the area around their team. Several Blue Silver Grass however were tightening around his teammates waists.

Replacing the position where Tang San were, was Xun Er. The air around her scorched into golden colored flames. Her pair of black colored eyes turned golden, her white jade skin hands throb with intense golden flames. The ground where she stood began to melt. Her body lit up, her two purple and two black spirit rings appearing.

While Ma Xiaotao took to the sky, her pair of fiery red scaled wings displayed majestically to everyone. Her spirit rings; two purple and one black, displayed themselves brilliantly. A high intense pressure exuded from her body.

They don't know why but they could feel their spirits crying out in fear. It was more so for Doudou, it felt like her spirit would somehow returned back into her body to hide.

Bloodline Suppression. Ma Xiaotao's spirit is not only an Evil Phoenix that rules over all birds but a Dragon as well that rules over all beasts as well. Since her original spirit was mostly the Phoenix, the bloodline suppression is more prominent to all spirit masters with bird type spirits.

Zhu Zhuqing, Xiao Wu and Ma Hongjun transformed as their spirits released, their respective spirit rings hovered circling around them, as they did a triangle formation to protect Oscar and Ning Rongrong who both also had their spirits and spirit rings out.

Shrek Ten Commandments members took a position of three-two-five.

Heavy pressure was set down upon the members of Emperor Team, causing some of the members to frowned because it was caused by the dense spirit power of Shrek Ten Commandments.

Dugu Cai Lin smirked in amusement, thinking that this fight wouldn't be as boring as she had first thought. A moment later, she took a step forward and released her spirit, unexpectedly causing most of the pressure released by Shrek Ten Commandments to disappear.

Her body lit up in a rainbow like display for a brief moment before revealing that it took a great transformation.

She seemed to age a couple years older; her height was a couple centimeters higher, her hair became soft and was several inches longer, her upper body had mȧturėd greatly expectedly. Her pair of pupils dilated, turned sharper, into a pair of green tinted slits. Her face turned even more beautiful. Four spirit rings, one purple and three black, hovered circling her body up and down her now transformed beautiful rhombus nine-colored scale serpent tail.

Everyone, except the Emperor Team, was completely charmed by her rainbow scaled serpent tail. It was the first time that they had seen such beautiful snake tail.

But not everyone's focus was on her spirit, instead, it was on her spirit rings; one purple and three black spirit rings!

A black spirit ring just when she's a Spirit Grandmaster, a feat that not even Xun Er had manage. Just from this, that most of the VIP guests was astounded once more to find out, after seeing that there were four spirit masters below the Spirit King realm have a black spirit ring, that there's someone even at the Spirit Grandmaster has a black spirit ring!

"How is this possible?" .

"Are they disciples of one of the ancient clans or families? Or even secret disciples from Spirit Hall?"

"Regardless, these spirit masters are people we should not offend in any circumstances."

They may be from different rooms, but most of the VIP guests had similar thoughts and conversation.

The Shi brothers took off their jackets, revealing muscles like solid granite, following the release of their spirits, the pair's shoulders slowly stretched out, their entire backs half curving, all their spirit power condensing into earthen yellow light gathering and coagulating at their backs They took positions on both sides of Medusa, their spirits released simultaneously. A huge black tortoiseshell appeared on their back, front and small ones on each of their now shortened four limbs. With them, they helped dissipate the pressure from Shrek Ten Commandments.

The next to release his spirit was Yu Tianheng and most of the VIP guests were excited, for he had the number one beast spirit Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon. He was hidden behind Dugu Cai Lin and the Shi brothers.

A dazzling blue light suddenly shone between Yu Tian-Heng's eyebrows, immediately following, the blue light spread in a flash, from his eyebrows falling into his body, streams of blue purple violent lightning erupted all over him like small snakes, migrating around his body. But greatest of his Spirit Body Transformation, are both of his arms.

The sleeves that originally covered both of his arms swelled up and completely burst to ashes, the arms' length increasing by half an inch, both appendages turned bulky and purple blue scales started replaced its skin. Blue purple lightning danced around his arm like snakes, two yellow spirit rings appeared on his right arm while the other had one purple and one black spirit rings!

Almost every VIP guests immediately applause in excitement at the sight of Yu Tianheng's Spirit Beast Transformation.

While the Shrek cast in the VIP room were-

"The hell? That's all he could do?" Zi Yan and Zhao Wuji both muttered out in disappoinment. Both had seen the transformation of Xiao Yan's FDK and they could say that,

Yu Tianheng's Spirit Beast Transformation is as lame af.

Unknown to them, Grandmaster had his eyebrows twitching.

Standing besides Yu Tianheng was Xiao Yi Xian, who stood silently, her eyes on a certain set of people and more specifically at a skull mask. She released her spirit rings; one purple and three black, but there was no notable changes on her that tells what kind of spirit she has. On the other side of the former was Osler, whose hair turned black and entire aura became darker, three optimal spirit rings surrounded his body.

Zhu Zhuqing doesn't know why, but she immediately hated the emo looking guy.

The next to released their spirits were Dugu Yan, who had a similar transformation as Dugu Cai Lin. Her pair of legs combined into a singular serpent tail and on her forehead appeared a rhombus green scale, three optimal spirit rings appeared around her. Besides her was her little sister Dugu Lin, three optimal spirit rings appeared as well as her eyes seemed to take on a strange change around on her body. Her pair of pupils separated into three small petal like shapes that formed around each other like a triangle.

(AN: Sharingan?! Lol)

Behind the two sisters was Xie Lingling, who held also let out her spirit. Resting in her hands was a pink flowering apple, formed by white and pink petals, the flowering apple was gorgeous, flowering with beauty and elegance. Three optimal spirit rings surrounded her as well.

This fight, is going to be interesting!

"Begin!" As soon Doudou's voice was broadcasted over the entire arena, both Xiao Yan moved instantaneously without any hesitation and Ning Rongrong amplified her team simultaneously.

'Instant Movement Technique!'

"First layer, Strength!"

"Second layer, Agility!"

"Third layer, Spirit!"

The 30% boosts were instantaneously applied as Xiao Yan and the others could already feel the effects in their bodies.

Xiao Yan disappeared from where he stood and reappeared in mid air in front of a surprise Dugu Cai Lin, his body twirling around to gain momentum, he gripped his Heavy Xuan Ruler with both hands that twirled alongside him shining in a bright black light.

Yellow flames covered the Heavy Xuan Ruler entirely and began spilling out uncontrollably due to the 30% increase of spirit power.

'Not yet!' Xiao Yan narrowed his eyes, slowing down his body for the perfect time to–He stopped in mid air and raised his Heavy Xuan Ruler over his head. 'Now!'

'First Spirit Ability: Flame Tsunami!'

*Blast!*

A tsunami of yellow flame spewed out of the Heavy Xuan Ruler, covering the entire Emperor Team except the flying Yu Feng in an ȯbsċėnė amount of yellow flame that it even reach the wall behind the Emperor Team.

The arena turned silent for a brief moment as flames seemingly devoured the Emperor Team.

But that didn't relieved Xiao Yan and the others because they how completely unfazed Yu Feng was.

"How amusing~" Dugu Cai Lin's voice resounded in the fire that covered her entire team, surprising and shocking everyone that her voice didn't sound like someone being cooked alive.

Instead, it was like someone was just talking about the goddamn weather.

Soon, the flames that were surrounding Dugu Cai Lin's team started to converged into a singular point. Like it was being suċkėd into a vacuum.

'Fuck!' Xiao Yan instantly knew what was going on, but he had at least hoped that she hadn't known she had the ability to consume heavenly flames. 'Whatever. The plan still continues, Xiao Wu, now!' He telepathically said to her.

'Got it!'

The flames soon disappeared and revealed the completely unharmed Emperor Team. They didn't say anything at the fact they were barbequed alive, instead, Yu Tianheng started roaring like a berserker and jumped towards the Ten Commandments with both his arms ċȯċked back, intense blue lightning gathering around his two forearms.

His target was of course the nearest Ten Commandment, Xiao Yan.

His leap towards him was great as he was just above his target and is prepared to beat him up for daring to attack his goddess!

"Unforgivable!" Yu Tianheng screamed in anger as he forwarded his claws, intending to ripped Xiao Yan to pieces.

Just as he was about to do so...

"Lotus Sword Style: 1st Form: Flower."

*Slice*

AN: Ei! We've got passed a hundred chapters! Yay! We're like, 3~35% done with the story. I'll finish this story in like, 25~300-ish chapters? Which would take a year and a half, which is great compared to some of those fanfiction.net authors who takes 5 fuċkɨnġ years just to get 20 chapters done! Like, bruh, really?! Rant done.

Okay so uh, I've got some bad and good news.

Bad news, I'm going in a hiatus cause I've reached a bottleneck in my cultivation(writer's block) and so until I reach a breakthrough, which is probably after one month and I'll return with a mass release or so.
