Dragon God Warrior

It was a sunny day, the green covered the entire land, and rivers of blue crossed all around the brown and green mountains.

The air all around the land was pure and the inhabitants could smell the green from it. Many fields of beautiful and mysterious flowers sprout though the land as the Qi flowed constantly like any other realm had ever seen before. The nature and the Qi essence would turn any cultivator mad and greedy not just because of its beauty but also for it's rich resources that could help them go against the heavens and cultivate to the top of the mortal world. But even if they had ten times the courage, they wouldn't dare to go against it's inhabitants. Because the inhabitants were the Dragon Tribe, the strongest group among all beast, demonic beasts and human cultivators.

In an small bamboo house an old man was teaching his grandson the basics of cultivation.

The young kid was named Long Lao Er, he was an eight years old kid, who had short black hair and porcelain like skin, no doubt he was handsome and certainly in the future he would break many girls hearts. His only problem was his lack of a Dragon Core made him lag in his cultivation, so he was only at Qi Condensation Realm level 1, while most of the kids of his age were on superior levels of the same realm and because of that he had been bullied and isolated from all the kids.

Almost total opposite to his grandson, Long Yi was mighty, respected and popular with the women. With his cultivation at the tenth level of the Core Formation Realm; he was the most respected junior elder, who became one of the sixteen junior commanders seven years ago. One day after going for a mission, Long Yi was the only survivor of his group and not only had he had completed the mission but he had also returned stronger than any other junior elder and even stronger than some of the senior elders. Since then he had been appointed as one of the sixteen junior commanders amongst the junior elders.

"Now Lao Er can you tell me which are the basic realms?" said the old looking man. His smile showed how much he cared and loved his grandson. But it didn't used to be like that, at first the old man used to be cold and hard on kid, who thought that he wasn't loved by his grandpa. Until one day when his attitude. changed after his grandpa came back from an important mission where he had been the sole survivor.

Long Lao Er looked at Long Yi with a bored expression and sigh. "Grandpa why are we waisting our time?, I don't have a Dragon Core like any other kid and everyone mocks me, isn't this just a pointless lecture?" Long Lao Er waited for his grandpa to get mad at him like he used to, but much to his surprise his grandpa started laughing and said "I've told you many times that the Dragon Core is an important advantage that gives the Dragon Cultivators the ability to absorbe more Qi essence from nature helping their cultivation be faster than anyone else, but that doesn't mean you can't cultivate".

Suddenly Long Yi stood up and said "In any case you only need to find a new method to get an advantage over the other cultivators".

Not very convinced of his grandpa pep talk Long Lao Er started reciting the cultivation levels by heart.

"Qi Condensation Realm. It's starting path for all us cultivators which involves absorbing Qi essence from the nature and refine it in our body. At this point we can use the Qi essence we absorbed and circulate it through our meridians and therefore we can use only basic external martial arts moves.

Foundation Establishment Realm. Once we breakthrough from NingQi into Zhiji, our Qi essence absorption rate and circulation is increased ten fold making our cultivation base ten times bigger, allowing us to fully use external martial arts and also letting us start using only basic internal martial arts.

Core Formation Realm, where we use our Dragon Core to make it evolve into a Golden Core, while regular human cultivators uses external cores to refine the Qi essence into internal energy, and so the cultivators physical and mental abilities are increased and now cultivators can fully use internal martial arts.

Finally we have the Nascent Soul Realm. In this realm aside from increasing like usual the cultivation base, the cultivators are finally able to use lightness skills that allow us to lighten the body and move with great agility and swiftness. We can run across the water or leap to the top of trees with the help of a technique or an spiritual treasure."

Long Yi looked very proud of his own grandson and said "Good Lao Er but you missed, Soul Formation Realm."

Long Fēi try to recall those realms mentioned by his grandpa when suddenly he remembered the manual about myths he had read and answered "Soul Formation Realm, isn't that just a myth?".

"Whether they are myth or not it's all cultivators dream to reach and go beyond the heavens, including your own grandpa", said Long Yi.

Seeing how confident his grandpa sounded and also how strong Long Yi was, Long Lao Er asked "Grandpa is so powerful and respected amongst everyone, and your grandson does not dream on becoming his equal, but what do I need to do to in order to become as strong and respected as you grandpa?"

Long Yi stood silently and for a second Long Lao Er thought that his grandpa would turn into the old cold grandpa but much to Long Lao Er surprise Long Yi smiled and politely said

"Lao Er; cultivation, power, training, knowledge and resources are secondary. To have an ambition and a goal, is what you first, need once you have that you will get the it which will allow you to be like your grandpa".

Long Lao Er continued his studies and cultivation without having understood his grandpa advise, but that would soon change.

A couple of days later Long Yi had a breakthrough from Core Formation Realm to the first level of the Nascent Soul Realm, that sole breakthrough was more than enough for someone with his experience and achievements to be promoted as senior elder in the Dragon tribe.

So Long Yi had to go to the Dragon Palace and he took Long Lao Er with him. After arriving at the Dragon Palace, Long Yi and Long Lao Er went their separate ways. Long Yi went into the inner palace to attend his business while Long Lao Er went to the gardens outside the outer palace to play.

He still hadn't found the it his grandpa mentioned therefore his cultivation had stagnated and making interest reach a new rock bottom. Because of that Long Lao Er had lost interest in cultivation and so he had decided to play with his ball instead train.

Long Lao Er started playing with his ball. Paap, Paap he kept kicking his ball against the wall, until he kicked it so hard the ball that the ball rebounded and went towards a figure.

It was a girl, she had golden hair that reached her shoulders, her blue eyes reflected a beautiful pure innocence. Her eyebrows showed a lonely expression.

Long Lao Er got in front of the girl. It looked like although they had the same height and she looked around his age, she was definitely stronger than him. But Long Lao Er didn't seemed to noticed that.

Her beauty had enraptured his soul.

The little girl kept staring at the ball until Long Lao Er smiled and said "I am Long Lao Er, what's your name?", "Long Suanni" said the little girl.

After saying her name Long Suanni stuttered, it looked like there was something she wanted to add, but words weren't flowing out. Long Lao Er could he see her nervous, sad and lonely expression within her face.

A little time passed and Long Suanni's eyes had started turning red, tears were forming in her eyes when suddenly a smiling Long Lao Er answered "Sure let's play".

A big smile was formed on Long Suanni's and her eyes turned back into gold, no more traces of tears were found, and the kids went to play like if they had been friends since forever.

It was at this moment without even realizing it, that Lao Er found what he was missing that would let him grow.
