Dragon God Warrior

On the next day after the round one battles, 16 of the initial 32 participants were left and Long Jing was today's judge.

Just like in the previous days, the stadium was full. The Dragon King along with the Dragon Queen and all the elders were present.

The Dragon King was talking with his wife and Long Lao Er's grandpa and the newest Grand Elder, Long Yi.

"You must be very proud of your grandson's accomplishments." Said the Dragon King to Long Yi.

"I'm your highness, but I can't take any credit at all, as a matter of fact it's your wife who takes all the credit. Isn't that right my Queen?" Asked Long Yi to the Dragon Queen.

Surprised by Long Yi's remark the Dragon King asked his wife.

"Is that so? I thought you were only instructing our daughter."

Seeing that she had not choice but to reveal the truth, she answered.

"What elder Yi said is correct. I don't understand why elder Yi hasn't helped his grandson much, but ever since I met him I feel that, that kid posses the talent to cultivate and become the next Dragon Warrior."

"Interesting." Answered back the Dragon King and then asked Long Yi why he hadn't helped his grandson with his cultivation.

"Your highness I appreciate that you have helped Lao Er. I am afraid that my responsibilities combined with my own training had made me neglect him, but I assure you that after the tournament is finished, I'll tutor him "

The Dragon Queen wanted to answer back that, that wasn't necessary but before she could say anything the first battle for the second round had started.

Long Jing was in the arena.

"For the first battle of the second round, we have the Dragon Princess Long Suanni vs participant Long Chi."

Both participants got into the arena. Long Suanni who was on the ninth level of the Qi Condensation Realm vs Long Chi who was on the tenth level of the Qi Condensation Realm.

Long Chi was on the top 3 along Long Qiong on the favorites to become the champion. He was bald and white as hell. His buff appearance and his high level alongside his horrific dragon tattoos would normally terrorize anyone, but Long Suanni looked calm.

"Your highness it's an honor to fight you. Don't think that just because I am fighting you, I'll throw this fight for you."

Seeing his bloodthirsty expression, Long Suanni answered back.

"Like wise, may the best warrior win."

Once she finished, both participants circulated their Qi essence and Long Suanni jumped towards Long Chi. To her surprise, the dragon tattoos from Long Chi became alive and like tentacles went towards her.

It was at this moment that the trauma from that time, where she had been rescued by Long Lao Er came to haunt her back.

On Long Suanni's head, she started remembering what had happened that day. How that human lowlife had c.a.r.e.s.sed her everywhere and no matter how much she tried to defend herself she was powerless.

She had almost become a plaything for for that bastard.

If not for Long Lao Er, she would have been sullied.

The dragon like tentacles had triggered a nightmare on her and there was nothing she could do as she remained paralyzed in fear.

Long Chi remained cautiosly waiting for Long Suanni's attack as he feared that she was playing him. But after seeing that she was just paralyzed, Long Chi send his dragon tattoos to attack her.

"Wake up Suanni, what happened has already happened. Show me that you're stronger, show the girl that wants to become champion!"

Loudly yelled Long Lao Er at Long Suanni.

Like a charm Long Suanni woke up. Thanks to Long Lao Er and her mother, she had finally conquered her fear, so once more she circulated her Qi essence and unleashed Supreme Ascending Rozan Dragon art.

A magnificent Dragon was realized from her fist. The green like Dragon broke and dissolved all the dragon tattoos from Long Chi. Having his defense broken, Long Chi bet on using his Qi essence armor to resist the attack. Unfortunately for him, the Dragon broke his defense and send him flying away out of the arena.

"Winner, Long Suanni." Declared Long Jing.

A happy expression appeared on the entire audience, as everyone started chanting her name. Both her parents with a smile on their face, also chanted her name.

Happy like she has never been, Long Suanni jumped out of the platform and hugged Long Lao Er.

It was at this point that she knew how much she actually loved him.

Some battles later.

"Long Qiong vs Long Lu, both participants get on the stage!" loudly announced Long Jing.

Everyone was excited for their fight and every person in the audience considered this battle advance final, since both opponents were on the tenth level of the Qi Condensation Realm and what's more, both opponents represented different groups inside the elders. Long Qiong as Long Qiuniu son represented his father group and Long Lu represented his father Long Pulao's group.

"Qiong this is where the tournament ends for you." Said the c.o.c.ky Long Lu.

To his surprise, Long Qiong calmly answered.

"Just because my father is no longer a Grand Elder, and yours is doesn't mean I am afraid of trashing you."

Seeing that both opponents were no longer trash talking, Long Jing announced the start of the battle.

Long Lu circulated his Qi essence and threw a punch at Long Qiong. Much to his surprise, Long Qiong used the tip of his index finger to stop his punch. Embarrassed because his punch had been stopped with a single finger, Long Lu circulated all his Qi essence and concentrated it in his fists and legs and threw a flurry of punches and kicks, but each time an attack connected; Long Qiong would use the same index finger to stop it.

"As expected of the favorite to become champion, he's purposely embarrassing his opponent."

"Long Lu has no chance."

"It looks like Long Qiong is toying with Long Lu."

Just like those comments, many people from the audience started commenting about the fight.

Meanwhile a nervous Long Pulao could only worry about his son, it was a good thing that Long Qiuniu wasn't here or he'll be mocking him right now.

"How is it possible that although we're both at the same level Qiong looks like he's on a superior realm." Thought Long Lu.

"I need to use my triumph card if I want to have a chance, Dragon's Fury art!!"

Long Lu prepared to unleash a Dragon made out of rock and Qi essence but just when Long Lu was ready to unleash his best attack, out of nowhere, Long Qiong appeared in front of him.

A wantonly smile appeared on Long Qiong as he unleashed a couple of small fist attacks towards different accupoints on Long Lu and finally stepped back to his original position.

At first nothing happened and Long Lu with a relaxed expression said.

"This is your end."

"Don't unleashed your art and surrender." Yelled Long Lao Er towards Long Lu, but he ignored the warning and unleashed his art.

Something was wrong. The moment he unleashed his art, small and explosions happened in the parts he was hit and with that his accupoints and his meridians had been damaged.

Long Lao Er knew what Long Qiong did. Long Qiong had purposely injected volatile Qi essence on his opponent accupoints, so when Long Lu circulated his Qi essence and unleashed his art, his internal Qi essence had blew the volatile Qi essence, damaging his accupoints and meridians. Long Lao Er had to do something or else Long Lu would become a cripple.

Long Lao Er used an array to seal the Qi essence leaks from Long Lu and then used a special pill to replenish the lost Qi essence from Long Lu. In the meantime, Long Jing stood between Long Lu and Long Qiong who looked ready to finish his opponent.

Long Pulao was angry as he had never been and was trying to convince the Dragon King to expell Long Qiong from the competition, but since he technically hadn't broken any rule, the Dragon King didn't expelled Long Qiong.

Seeing the Dragon King's decision, Long Jing declared Long Qiong as the winner.

Long Qiong had showed everyone, why he was the top runner to become champion.
