Dragon God Warrior

Chapter 4 - Training starts

The next after receiving the beating, Long Lao Er was recuperating from his wounds on the small bamboo house.

Long Yi didn't looked surprised nor angry, heck he didn't showed any reaction towards his grandson son wounds.

Long Yi just gave his grandson a White Lotus pill that would help him absorbe Wind Qi essence much faster which would eventually help him have a breakthrough, but Long Lao Er had read that using pills will eventually hurt his Qi foundation.

It was common practice in this world for cultivators to use pills to increase their cultivation levels and realms. But there was a side effect because of the impurities formed by the pills and this would cause cultivators to become pill addicts and in the long run the pill will have a weaker effect making cultivators have to look for more powerful pills which would repeat this cycle over and over unless they managed to have a realm breakthrough but the same would be repeated with stronger pills.

In fact in the past, the pill addiction had cause countless of wars between cultivators for not just possessing a pill but also for producing and distributing those pills.

Pill consuming wasn't the real problem, but when to actually use it. It should be used either for healing or for breaking through realms instead of levels. That's why Long Lao Er decided to wait before consuming the White Lotus pill.

For the next days he went into seclusion and resumed his cultivation and 10 days after exiting his cultivation, he had had a breakthrough from the second level into the third level of the Qi Condensation Realm. Still he knew that without a proper external martial arts technique, he wouldn't have chance at all.

Long Lao Er has studying his basic cultivation manual and read

"Meridians: Are the network of vessels in the body through which Qi essence flows.

Qi circulation: It's the act of controlling Qi to flow from the dantian, through the meridians, and back into the dantian in a cycle.

Accupoints: Are the points around the meridians which allow the Qi essence absorption from the nature. The more you have opened, the more Qi essence you can absorb. It can be used to heal if a cultivator and injects his own Qi essence.

It has been recorded that poison can be injected which depending on the poison it can damage the meridians in the best case scenario till killing. The regular human cultivator has up to 128 point while a Dragon cultivator can have up to 1024 points which is the maximum number of points recorded so far."

Long Lao Er finished reading and started thinking, he frowned and his face made a happy expression an idea had appeared in his mind.

The next day he went to his cultivation room an started trying to open his own accupoints using Qi essence within his index finger, but much to his dismay he coulould not open a single accupoint and even he had blocked his own meridians and accupoints with crystalized Qi essence and now just Qi circulation was failing.

Long Lao Er own Qi circulation started to diminish and that got him to seriously started worrying. By default Qi essence would open an accupoint on newly borned kids and as cultivation proceeded, Qi essence from within the meridians would open new the accupoints. Somehow he had discovered that by combining refined Qi essence with external Qi essence, he could crystalized both Qi essences.

For at least 5 min those crystals blocked some of his accupoints, but at some point the Qi essence from the outside reabsorbed those crystals and unblocked his accupoints again and meridians.

It had been a miracle for Long Lao Er who had been trying everything he knew to unblock the accupoints without any success and he was worried that he would end up messing his cultivation.

Curiosity had been awaken in Long Lao Er, so he tested again with several inputs levels of Qi essence. The more internal Qi essence he used; the more time it would take for those Qi essence crystals to be reabsorbed but the less accupoints he could used to seal Qi essence absorption and Qi circulation through the meridians and the opposite happened with less internal Qi essence he used.

Long Lao Er had invented a new art which he called Qi Sealing Art.

By just polluting near the accupoints instead of directly applying refined Qi essence randomly over an accupoint as many cultivators did when they wanted to open their accupoints, Qi essence could be crystalized upon contact with the refined Qi essence and temporary blocked the Qi essence absorption and disrupt the Qi essence circulation.

So far cultivators had tried with small success open their accupoints and in most cases they would ended up damaging their accupoints or even their meridians and therefore they would end up as cripples, so Long Lao Er had been lucky enough to not get crippled.

If now he could find a way to be faster and more agile than Long ZhangLang, Long ZhangLang would be at his mercy.

That night Long Yi returned from the Dragon Palace and once he saw Long Lao Er expression he discovered that his grandson had finally found it, the it that Long Lao Er needed.

Long Yi approached his grandson and said, "It seems that it's time for me to teach you an external martial art". The excited Long Lao Er answered "Really grandpa?".

Long Yi took a manual and gave it to Long Yi. "This is the cultivation manual for the external martial art Supreme Ascending Rozan Dragon art, you'll memorized and practice it. If you have any questions, you can ask me".

Long Lao Er accepted the manual and started his training. He started circulating his Qi essence through his meridians, an image of a Dragon Ascending from the bottom of a waterfall to the sky appeared in his mind, and as the Qi essence gathered in his right arm; Long Lao Er executed an uppercut. The Qi essence took the form of the Dragon from his mind and ascended just as he imagined, as it ascended Long Lao Er could hear the roar from the dragon.

Long Lao Er was happy and excited, he had finally learned his first external martial art.

But he still was in need of a way to increase his speed and agility.

Only when he reached the Nascent Soul Realm would he be able to practice lightness skills and increased his agility and lightness without external help.

But until then, he would had to relied on external help.

As Long Lao Er was coming out of seclusion, Long Yi had arrived back from the Dragon Palace. He could see that his grandson cultivation training was proceeding smoothly, but he could still see an expression of self reflection and so he asked "How did it go with the manual I gave you Lao Er?".

"Good grandpa, I got it." said Long Lao Er as he gave back the manual.

Knowing that there was more to say from his grandson, Long Yi asked Long Lao Er what was wrong to which Long Lao Er proceeded to ask him for a way to increase his speed and agility.

"I see, you want to increase your speed and agility. Then I think I have the what you need." said Long Yi. Long Lao Er looked excited over his grandpa answer, just as his grandpa proceeded to inject a couple of arrays on Long Lao Er shoes.

"Try it." said Long Yi. Long Lao Er discovered that his speed and act had increased, he was so happy that he had not noticed that this was the first time he had his grandpa produced an array by himself and created a treasure.

And so Long Lao Er continue training with the help of his new treasure the new technique he had invented for the next days.
