Dragon God Warrior

Long Lao Er was shocked, it was the first time he had been invited to a friend's party. Once he returned home and told his grandpa what had happened, Long Yi was equally shocked.

It was a fact that Long Yi was never a lady's man, he only had one sweet heart and he somehow managed to marry her. There wasn't much female presence in his life up to now. He had, had a son and when his son married; his daughter in law became the 3erd woman besides his mother and his wife. After his mother died; his daughter in law and his wife became the only females interacted with. So there was no much knowledge on how to handle females he could pass.

Moving on what shocked Long Yi the most was that Long Lao Er's female friend, whom he had talked about so much in the past turned out to actually be the Dragon Princess herself. So when it was time for him to suggest a present he could only think on telling his grandson to go to the Demonic Dragon Forest outside Dragon City and look for a ten thousand years red lotus to gift to the princess.

This lotus wasn't just a simple flower, the ten thousand years lotus was a flower which could be used for 2 specific things. One was to help breakthrough any big Realm bottle neck, the second reason was if any cultivator whom may be on a dying situation or even crippled, could be given a second chance.

This lotus wasn't your common cultivation resource, it was a treasure amongst treasures.

The Demonic Dragon Forest was a sacred ground for the Dragon race. It's size, green and abundant in Qi essence made it the perfect place to grow the best resources in the entire realm and maybe even in the entire world. This place was also the favorite place for the old monsters and courageous cultivators to cultivate for a long time and get their breakthroughs between big realms.

It was also the perfect place for demonic beasts to reside. Unlike other places where you wouldn't find demonic beasts through the Dragon Realm, in this forest you could find from weak beasts on the outside to more powerful beast the more you went towards the center of the forest.

Long Lao Er entered the forest, through his eyes he saw the majestic green maze that extended to the infinity. As Long Lao Er proceeded through the forest he took out a small monocle and look through it.

This small monocle wasn't a simple artifact, it was an artifact he had invented; using an small array he had developed and attached in the monocle, he could see through anyone's and anything's cultivation realm, even if they were beyond Long Lao Er's cultivation level.

So far array masters were able to duplicate the old arrays from text books and had yet to invent new arrays.

This mostly had happened because arrays were pretty complex, but Long Lao Er had managed to see through the patterns of the old work and therefore he had been able to create an array compiler which allowed him to simplify the array development.

Simple arrays that normally took thousands of lines were cut to few tens of lines, while complex arrays which took millions of lines were reduced to couple tens of thousands of lines, thought he had yet to test it.

Using his monocle Long Lao Er was able to see any cultivation being, whether they were beast, dragon or human and avoid them.

But avoiding the trouble wouldn't be enough if trouble came looking for you. With the pill knowledge he had acc.u.mulated from his studies, Long Lao Er had been able to prepare a couple of pills. A simple pill made of yin yang roots helped him hide his Qi presence from anyone and anything, as long as he wasn't seen directly he would be safe.

Long Lao Er had also prepared the smoke screen pill which when thrown into the ground; would produce a gas that smell so bad, that demonic beasts wouldn't be able to use their sense of smell to track him.

For his final triumph card, he prepared the wild berry nuts which when feeded with Qi essence would became volatile upon impact, as Long Lao Er had discovered one day while experimenting on the outer Dragon Palace forest.

According to ancient texts, this ten thousand red lotus lived near lakes, which most of the time were near caves inhabited by strong demonic beasts of the Foundation Establishment Realm, 10 miles to the north, inside the Demonic Dragon Forest.

Fortunately for Long Lao Er, he had developed a simple array which allowed him to tell the proper direction using the flow of the Qi essence from the forest, as Qi essence would always flow to the north.

Normally only strong cultivators equal or greater than the Core Formation Realm would be able to sense the Qi flow and therefore they wouldn't get lost so easily, but now with this invention, Long Lao Er would be their match. He may be even able to detect where the strongest presence of Qi emisions were coming from.

As Long Lao Er was walking through the green maze a roar he heard.

The roar seemed to have come from 10 miles away and with his compass Long Lao Er managed to find that the roar came from the north, which was the direction he was moving to.

Cautiosly Long Lao Er approached the source of disturbance. Once he was 1 mile away; he was able to sense a strong power which kept other beasts and cultivators away in fear, but Long Lao Er made himself continue despite his fear for the sake of getting Long Suanni's present.

Now Long Lao Er was in front of the commotion hidden by a layer of ying yang root essence. It was then when he saw the next amazing battle he had seen before.

A black hooded figure was fighting a Demonic Wolf. Through his monocle Long Lao Er could see that the human hooded figure was around eight level of the Foundation Establishment Realm, while the Demonic Wolf was around the tenth level of the Foundation Establishment Realm.

It was such an amazing fight, that Long Lao Er had forgotten his initial goal. The hooded figure was weaker than the wolf but that didn't meant that he couldn't match the wolf. As both adversaries unleashed their best arts; this battle although for the moment was a draw; it was inclining towards the Demonic Wolf.

Both opponents were now so weak than even a Low level Foundation Realm expert would be able to kill them with not much trouble.

The hooded figure unleashed his art, but his Qi essence was to thin that his art was merely a shadow. The Demonic Wolf smirked as it was sure that he would be able to take care of this guy that had dare to enter his territory and challenged him for the treasure he was protecting, with his Qi left.

It was at this moment that Long Lao Er found what he had been looking for.

The ten thousand years red lotus was the treasure the Demonic Wolf was protecting and now that both adversaries were busy, an opportunity had presented for Long Lao Er.

Qi essence was circulated upon Lao Er's shoes arrays as he fastly moved towards the treasure. Unknown to the Demonic Wolf, Long Lao Er had obtained the ten thousand years red lotus. But when he plucked it out, the Demonic noticed the new intruder and ran towards Long Lao Er.

Long Lao Er was in a pinch as a simple attack from the Demonic Wolf would be enough to kill him. As the Demonic Wolf approached and unleashed his Wolf Bite art, a group of illusory figures covered Long Lao Er's escape as one after another illusory figure took the attack and vanished much to the Demonic Wolf's frustration.

Multiple Long Lao Er's illusory figures appeared on the hooded figure side, until they all merged into the real Long Lao Er. Long Lao Er then put the hooded figure into his left shoulder, and tossed an smoke bomb pill making his escape.
