Back inside the dalmus Dungeon both Kana and Evelyn could be seen standing in an unknown space, cold sweats could be seen on their beautiful faces seeing the portal which they just entered disappeared in front of their sight, kana tilted her head and looked at Evelyn she was surprised to see those expressions on her master’s face because Evelyn is someone who always remains calm and composed in every situation but right she is also having a tough time processing their current situation.

“Master the portal…”Kana stuttered, Evelyn tilted her head and she looked at Kana and noticed the fear in her eyes.

She didn’t blame her because the place they were standing is one of the most dangerous places inside the phoenix kingdom and no one even in their wild dream wants to be stuck in this place which is filled with ancient beings and monsters.

“We can’t go back and this is not a mere coincidence, someone has forcefully destroyed that portal from the other side,” Evelyn exclaimed as she tightened her fist in a serious manner, Kana raised her eyebrows as she heard her master.

“But master this is impossible, you are the only one who could access this dungeon, the entrance is secured by various high-level formation how can someone bypass those formations and breaches the security, I don’t get it”Kana looked at her master in disbelief after all Evelyn is the only one who has the access of this dungeon other than her no one knows how to get inside without disrupting those high-level formations.

Hearing Kana’s words Evelyn took a deep sigh and closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and looking back at kana, kana was taken aback seeing that sharp look in her eyes.

“Something is big about to happen inside the northern region, we have to get out of here as soon as possible, I was careless and somehow I ignored something very big and important, how could I miss that” Evelyn exclaimed as she looked at Kana in a serious manner, Kana’s heart started pounding faster and louder seeing her master this restless but at the same time everything is going over her head but she knows that her master definitely realized something and she knows who is behind all of this.

“But we can’t leave this place, the only path which could lead us out of this dungeon no longer exists, we are completely cut off from the outside world, there is no other way of leaving this place” kana explained to Evelyn.

“There is one way of leaving this place…”Evelyn whispered as she looked at Kana in a serious manner, Kana nervously swallowed seeing that look on her master’s face and a weird smile appeared on her beautiful face as she had seen through Evelyn’s intention.

“Master you are joking right,dont tell me you are serious about challenging this dungeon, this is suicide master and you are still recovering from your injuries”

“I am not joking kana, if we dont leave this dungeon as soon as possible then it’s a matter of time before this entire region will be engulfed in flames of disaster, she has already made her move by trapping us inside this dungeon, all these years I thought she has disappeared for good but I was wrong she was preparing for the right time and now because of my negligence the entire northern region is in grave danger, millions of lives are at stake and there is no one who could stop her while we are trapped inside this damn dungeon”

“You are aware who is behind all of this,” Kana looked at Evelyn and asked her, hearing kana Evelyn nodded her head and she exhaled deeply, a concerned look could be seen on her beautiful milky face.

“You already met her inside the eternal prison,’ Evelyn responded to kana.

Don’t tell me you are talking about that woman who rescued that old man, “Kana recalled that moment when she is about to kill that old man who attacked Evelyn but before she could make any move to kill that old man, a frightening existence appeared inside the eternal prison and rescued that old man from kana’s grasp, at that moment kana thought that she is going to die in the presence of that frightening being but some reason her life had been spared, kana remember everything and recalled those words which she heard at last before the disappearance of that behemoth like existence.

“Tell Evelyn that we will meet again…those were the last words that she said leaving eternal prison”Kana’s eyes widened as she recalled those words which echoed in her ears inside that place, after that incident too many things happened and then Yohan came in the picture and he took Evelyn inside the soul subspace, kana looked Evelyn in a serious manner.

“Who is she and why did she want to harm you, “Kana asked Evelyn, her heart still thumping very fast thinking about that mysterious woman.
