Emross Empire: War And Order

Chapter 42 - 42. Don't Judge Poop By Its Smell

Only 2 days after Shiro was forced to live in the world of Emross, but he had experienced a lot of things. He meets a variety of monsters and is able to raise his level quite fast. Even though in the EEWAO era was still a game, raising the level was very difficult, due to the minimal number of monsters and the large number of players who played the game. But after the big event, everything has changed.

In the past, Senshi could raise the level of their character by killing monsters and carrying out missions. The NPCs cannot develop and only have intelligence and abilities that have been set for them.

Whereas currently in the new world, Senshi can only get XP and raise their level by killing Monsters. They no longer get XP from the missions they have completed. And in this new world, NPCs can develop and have intelligence like living things in general.

Unlike the Senshi who can only raise their level by killing monsters, the NPCs are also able to raise their level by doing daily activities such as work, practice, study and so forth. Even so the development of most NPCs is very slow, and only a few of them can develop quickly and are able to compete with Senshi.

After the Monster attack ended, the residents lit bonfires in several places to light the corner of the village.

Residents who were assisted by soldiers returned to collect corpses from their families. Meanwhile, some of them were seen busy collecting the dead bodies of the Monster scattered throughout the village and taking them to a mysterious factory whose use was still unclear.

"Hey ... Thank you for helping us." TukangSantet approached Shiro who was seen relaxing on the front of Ana's house.

"Yea sure. Apple?" said Shiro, who then threw a large, reddish apple to TukangSantet.

"O... Thank you. Lots of supplies." TukangSantet caught the apple and then sit next to Shiro.

"The citizens gave it to me." Shiro answered.

A few moments later, on the sidelines of the NPC's busy schedule, the royal captain was seen walking towards Shiro and TukangSantet who was sitting on the terrace of the village chief's house.

"Sir... The citizens have told me what had happened while I was gone. I would like to thank you profusely for you for struggling to save them."

"Don't worry about it, I'm just carrying out a mission from you." Shiro replied quite casually.

"That is true, but there is no mistaking that you are a hero who has saved this village. The king has also asked me to reward you. Please accept this.."

Shiro received 2 full bags containing 2,000 Gold pieces, in return for the mission of guarding the village of Bae. He was considered a hero who had saved Bae village, but among the hundreds of corpses scattered throughout the village, there were also dozens of villagers he had killed.

Shiro was a little curious, why the royal captain did not mention the citizens he had killed. Even though he was resigned if he had to be blamed by the citizens for killing their families. He did not think if Ana remained silent and covered up his actions.

After handing over Shiro's fee, the captain excused himself and returned to help the residents. Shiro just pensive to see him go away, he was unable to tell the captain the truth.

While eating one large and long banana, TukangSantet, which had only been silent, began to open conversation.

"I heard that this morning they were attacked by a group of Monkey Warriors."

"Right ... And now they have to go back to bury new bodies again, how sad." Shiro replied while peeling an orange peel.

"Hmm... Sawal is a good person. I can tell by looking at his worried face on the way to here." said TukangSantet softly.

"In this world... No. I mean in this game world, there are lots of good people. Look out, then you will definitely find them. And if not... Then you can be one of them."

"Hmm.. Maybe you're right. Humans are born good. It doesn't matter what they become."

"Then.. Who is Sawal?" said Shiro, looking at TukangSantet with a flat face.

"Eh? That soldier! I thought you already knew his name." replied TukangSantet a little annoyed.

"They have names?" Shiro said with a wry smile.

"Of course. Because now they are like humans in general!"

Hearing the question from TukangSantet, Shiro momentarily turned his head towards the ferocious witch and then ate a whole gr.a.p.efruit while saying, "Aren't they real human in this world? Whereas we are just a bunch of aliens hovering over."

"You're absolutely right..." said TukangSantet softly, then turned to the residents who were still busy collecting corpses.

"Now I understand the meaning of the saying, 'don't judge shit by its smell.' Even though you look scary, it turns out your heart is very soft like a lolicon." Shiro said with a wry smile.

"Are you praising me or insulting me?!" jerked TukangSantet in annoyed.

Seeing Shiro and TukangSantet who were engrossed in conversation, PenggaliKubur approached them both. "What are you talking about?"

"Hmm... After I looked carefully, your names sound familiar to me, are you from Nusantara?" Shiro asked, looking at their status.

"Right, are you also from Nusantara?" replied PenggaliKubur while sitting next to TukangSantet.

"Yes, I'm from Java. It turns out there are also Emross players who come from Nusantara."

Without first asking for permission from Shiro, PenggaliKubur with gusto immediately eat the fruit that is around them.

"Of course. There are a lot of Emross players from Nusantara, even the strongest Garuda Guild no. 2 is an alliance of Nusantara players."

"Oho.. Then why don't you join them?" Shiro asked, slightly interested in the conversation.

"We used to join them, and TukangSantet was a former commander. However, because we had differences of opinion with the alliance leader, we decided to leave Garuda. And after the big event, we decided to create a new Guild which only accommodates Mage Classes."

"Ehh? How stupid are you all. Then how many alliance members do you have now?"

Because PenggaliKubur was busy eating the remaining fruit, Tukangsantet answered Shiro's question. "104 people."

"Hmm... Any girl players?" Shiro asked with a curious expression.

"None. It's very difficult to recruit female players if your Guild is still weak. If your class was a Mage, I would definitely recruit you. But Destroyer... I have no idea if there is such a class." said TukangSantet a little curious.

"Tch! Who wants to join an alliance that is only inhabited by men. I'm not gay!" Shiro replied with a cynical expression.

Hearing Shiro's words which sounded rather annoying, with a mouth still full of fruit, PenggaliKubur interrupted their conversation. "Hoi!! In other words, you're saying if we are gay??"

"Correct." Shiro replied with a lazy expression which then bit into the banana he was holding.

Shocked by Shiro's answer, PenggaliKubur spewed out fruit that was still in his mouth. Meanwhile, TukangSantet chuckled as he said, "Hah ha... You are too honest."
