Chapter 38: Tiger VS Wolf Pack

The weather in the forest could change anytime. It was a sunny afternoon with the sun shining down but now the wind was rising and B-Dog could feel the snow on his face.

“Oh no, it will snow tonight and might be a tough night. I have to find a shelter before dark. The only thing I can do now is to pray the snow does not get heavier.”

He started to construct the triangle-shaped tent. As time went by, Chen B-Dog heard wolves howling and tigers roaring from the deep forest all of sudden. He gave a start.

“I think I heard the wolf pack howling. Something must have happened!”

Chen B-Dog frowned and spoke softly, “The wolf pack is hunting. The snow has blocked the entrance of the mountain so no animals can find food. It seems like the wolf pack is going crazy, they actually want to provoke the tiger.”

Chen B-Dog aimed at a big tree trunk. While running, he threw out the hunting knife from his right hand. Then, he jumped in the air and kicked on the tree trunk. By borrowing the energy, he thrust against the tree and quickly stabbed on the tree trunk. Next, he seized on a projecting branch. “Is this Siberian tiger?!”

There was a famous news a while ago. Someone had posted a series of photo saying he discovered the wild Siberian tiger. This topic was discussed fervently on the internet and triggered the attention of the related departments. At last, it was proved to be a photo which had been edited by Photoshop. No one knew whether to angry or laugh on it. However, the current situation was different. There was no chance for it to be a fake. A few million people were watching it. That really was the Siberian tiger indeed. A wild Siberian Tiger.

The audience became excited and started to screenshot and shared the picture.

However, it was not a good situation. In the blizzard, what could happen to the battle between the tiger and wolf pack? The wolf pack was moving, surrounding the Siberian Tiger and decisively attack when they found a weakness. They took turns and continuously attacked the tiger.

Chen B-Dog stood on the tree. The wind was blowing fiercely and it made his coat swing about non-stop. He remained motionless and explained calmly, “Now, does anyone think they’re just a bunch of dogs? The wolf pack is not known for individual power. When they are out for hunting, they show the most intuitive performance based on a tactical system. This wolf pack consists of 12 family members. In other words, the target they aim basically cannot escape from the attack.”

“Normally, among the wolf pack, there is a leader which has superb physique and great experience that will guide the wolves to hunt down the prey without giving up. They will keep attacking the prey. You can relate to the famous tactics used by the wolf pack. For instance, diversification, luring, encircle, single-line battle array and other plots. These plots are not in “The Art of War” only. These are the basic hunting tactics of the wolf pack.”

“In fact, many armies adored the wolf because there are many things that are worth for humans to learn. And personally I do admire one characteristic of the wolf pack; they never keep the lazy wolf. Any wolf that tries to be lazy during hunting is going to get hungry. It means that every wolf has its own part to play and needs to work hard to hunt. Now, they are encircling the tiger and trying to disrupt the tiger’s position.”

According to his talk, it was very obvious to tell that he admired at the hunting wolf pack. However, soon, he found out that something was wrong.

“Eh… something is wrong about this Siberian tiger. It is probably wounded and has not recovered yet. Or it probably just gave birth. It guards the cave and refuses to leave. I think the latter is more likely.”

The Siberian tiger was at the peak of the food chain. Even it was wounded; an individual wolf could not handle it.

The tiger roared. It successfully attacked one wolf with its claw and bit the neck of another wolf. The wolf cried loud and was thrown a few meters away. Then it became motionless. In the same time, there were four or five wolves jumping from behind and attacked the tiger. They used their fangs and bit the tiger nonstop.

The Siberian tiger howled and became crazier after bleeding. It jumped on a boulder and shook off the wolves attack back and forth. At the other side, there were another three wolves that tried to seize the tiger. Upon the tiger’s hesitation, the wolf pack attacked from behind again. It was a melee battle. There was one wolf standing on the high ground and sending commands from time to time. The wolves had demonstrated the best teamwork and ability to fight against the enemy.

Among the snow, the blood and the howls were the only rhythm.

Chen B-Dog knew when to stop talking. The popularity in the live broadcast room continued to increase.

In the battlefield, the wolves were being thrown again and again. The tiger dragged the wolves and kept running. It would twist their heads and bit the attacking ones. Wolf blood and tiger blood was all over the ground. When the wolf pack launched the attack, the courage to move forward and the relentless madness completely shook the audience.

At last, at the cost of injury and death, the wolf pack successfully defeated the tiger. The Siberian tiger lay motionless now.
