Jian Yixin took advantage of this time to focus on Song Pianzhen’s memories. In addition to loving Shen Yu, her idol, Song Pianzhen was gentle, beautiful, versatile, and loved by all at home. Her life was as beautiful as a fairy tale.

——Even if she suppressed Lin Qinglu for Shen Yu, no one could move her. Lin Qinglu’s fans were angry and useless, and the little princess was guarded by her family; remaining unscathed.

As Jian Yixin was thinking, her phone vibrated, and the caller ID was ‘Song Zhe’, Song Pianzhen’s brother.

She picked it up: “Hi Bro.”

“Little sis.” Song Zhe was in the office. When he heard his sister’s voice, the corners of his lips curled up. There was no trace of his usual sternness, and his voice sounded extremely gentle, “How was your day today? When will you come back?”

Jian Yixin imitated Song Pianzhen’s tone and said coquettishly: “I’ve only been out for a few days, gege(1).”

“It’s been nearly a week.” Song Zhe sighed, “You don’t let my people follow you. It’s inconvenient to be alone out there. You have to squeeze in with other people. I wanted to fund the crew but you wouldn’t let me…”

No matter how overbearing the president was, it didn’t show when he nagged his sister.

Song Zhe was much older than the original Song Pianzhen, and had always raised his younger sister as a daughter. Although Jian Yixin didn’t need this kind of care, she was patient enough to understand the concerns from her family.

“Funding the crew…” Until it came to the funding, Jian Yixin did not object to him financing her to achieve goals simply and rudely, so she thought for a moment.

Song Zhe saw the hope of  financing his sister and said, “How is it?”

“It’s not necessary. I am not part of the crew, so I will go back after dancing.” Jian Yixin thought about it.

“Well, I respect your opinion.”

Jian Yixin smiled. She liked this kind of family very much. Although they cared about each other, they also respected each other. Therefore, she sincerely said, “Thank you brother.”

His younger sister’s voice was so soft and light, that Song Zhe’s heart melted, and he couldn’t wait to shower her with all the good things in the world, but unfortunately she didn’t want anything.

Song Zhe didn’t give up and asked, “Is there really nothing I need to do for you?”

Jian Yixin smiled, she rubbed her forehead, and remembered: “Then, brother, can you help me find a pastry chef?”

Song Zhe: “Huh?”

Jian Yixin looked out the window, and across the road was a bakery. The taste was somewhat mediocre. Looking at the packaging, Lin Qinglu had bought this one.

Lin Qinglu was famous for eating butterfly cakes.

“It’s a small dessert.” Jian Yixin smiled slightly, “especially the butterfly cake, I seem to have an appetite for it recently.”

Song Zhe proved his love for his sister with efficiency. The Song family steward sent their pastry chef the next afternoon after the call.

Since people couldn’t be brought into the crew, the chef bought a shop near the film site and intensively renovated it.

This pastry chef was Chinese, and his resume was full of award winning experiences in various international food competitions. Because Song Pianzhen specifically mentioned butterfly cakes, the pastry chef also brought a copy of the finished product.

The fresh butterfly pastry was filled with sweetness, and the rich buttery smell wafting out of the cracks in the pastry box, smelled delicious.

As for the taste, she would take it back to taste it first, and if it passed, she would use it to brush Lin Qinglu’s favor.

Jian Yixin had a good plan; and if she didn’t run into Lin Qinglu in the reception hall of the hotel, it would’ve worked.

Lin Qinglu and her assistant were passing by, and originally only glanced at Jian Yixin.

After two or three seconds, her nose moved slightly and her footsteps slowed down until she stopped completely, looking at the pastry box in Jian Yixin’s hand.

Sunglasses covered most of her face, so she couldn’t observe her expression clearly. Her lips opened slightly, and in a lazy tone she voiced, “Song Pianzhen?”

 Jian Yixin: “….”
