Fortune Of Lifetimes

Following the directions that Luanne gave to him back when they first met, Ren finally arrived at a grand house that towered over every house he had seen so far in fact it 'even be called a house it was more like a mansion.

As he arrived at the gate a guard stood out and stopped them, "What business do you have here?" he asked in an authoritative tone.

"I've come to talk to Miss Luanne, please relay to her that Renato is here and has something to discuss with her" Replied Matt as Ren remained in the carriage.

Waiting for a few minutes a butler rushed out to greet them and bring them into the guest room whilst they waited for Luanne to come and talk with them.

Looking at the table in the guest room there was a bowl with spirit fruits in it although they wouldn't rot for a long time because of the qi that they had it was still extravagant to have them there seeing this Matt couldn't help but gulp down his saliva, after all he had just broke through and could use these to help boost his cultivation.

Seeing this Ren shook his head saying, "If you want one just take it, i doubt they would put them out here just for the view and besides they're only the tier 1 spirit herbs"

Hearing his young master say it was ok Matt grabbed a fruit and started to eat it savouring the sweet flavour whilst starting to refine the qi to bolster his cultivation.

After cleaning herself up Luanne walked out of the bathroom, she had been trying to refine a new pill but it backfired and exploded in the cauldron not knowing what to do to resolve the problem that she had been having for the past few weeks she was just about to give it another go when her maid came up to her and told her that Ren had arrived.

She had given all her butlers and maids instructions that if he was to come they should bring him into the guest room and come and tell her he had arrived provided she wasn't cultivating or refining pills.

Arriving in the guest room and seeing that the fruit bowl that usually had spirit herbs was empty even though it was usually stocked up every month she was a little shocked, after all if someone was going to have any they would usually only have one because they would still cost a lot and people might feel ashamed to take more than that.

Putting that aside she still looked around to see if Ren had brought his master along after seeing that he just brought a friend and some random cultivator she knew that he hadn't come, feeling a little disappointed she said "Ren, im a little bit disappointed that your master didn't come along today. What could be troubling you that you would head over here?"

"Well I heard from manager Woo that you would be able to get me into the auction that would be happening in a few months," asked Ren

"Oh, you want to go to the auction? I can indeed get you into it could it be your master wants to come as well?"

Hearing this Ren shook his head whilst saying "No he asked me to head there in his stead, he said he was going to be attempting to break through in his pill dao and he told me if i noticed any good items i should buy them"

"Ah that's a shame, oh well that's fine why don't you come here on the day of the auction and we can head there together" she said a little dejectedly

Hearing no request from her Ren was a little surprised perhaps it was to gain favour from his master but he will never repay kindness with coldness. Taking out a piece of paper with a pill fire technique that would help refine the materials and improve the chance of a pill being refined instead of failing, it was something he came up with in a previous life.

Receiving the piece of paper Luanne couldn't help her hand shaking after all if what was written down was real its value was almost priceless to pill refiners. Seeing him take it out like it was nothing amazed Luanne even more, just who was his master that he would give something away so valuable so easily.

Noticing that she was so excited Ren knew that all she wanted to do was practice the method, "My master told me to tell you that he hopes that you will only show this to people you trust"

Confirming that she would only show it to her family members Ren left with Matt and

Damon, although he ate so many spirit fruits Matt still didn't break through because they weren't potent enough however he reached the pinnacle of qi refining tier 1, ready to break through all he would have to do now is approach it slowly.

After arriving home Matt headed to his room attempting to breakthrough to tier 2, Damon and Ren went to bed. Knowing that all he had to do was wait for the auction before he could start cultivating Ren started to get excited.

Waking up in the morning Ren was getting making his breakfast when someone started knocking on the door, opening it he saw manager Woo.

"Young friend I'm here to drop off something" with a smile on his face he waved his hand and loads of crates piled up, opening one it was filled with gold notes just as he was about to thank him manager Woo waved his hand and a ring dropped into his hand.

"Young friend this is for you, its the biggest one the guild could obtain since we last spoke" Woo said with a smile on his face, judging from the items appearing out of nowhere he had obtained a spacial ring for himself, clearly the pill guild had rewarded him greatly for obtaining the rights to sell the elixir.

After sending off manager Woo Ren started to meditate although he wasn't absorbing qi, it would still calm the mind and help him relax.
