[Wait.... what the hell, this can't be real] Flipping his hand over Ren started to convert his qi into different sources, First, the purest crystal clear water that he had ever seen turned into translucent ice then using a pure flame it melted into vapour and slowly turned into a cloud that started to rain.

[What the hell is this source seed, even in my memories I've never seen or even heard of something like this how strange]

After trying to understand anything about the source seed all night Ren didn't get anywhere deciding the best way to proceed was to keep cultivating and hope that he reaches some form of enlightenment about the source seed.

2 Weeks later Ren got a visit from someone from the pill guild delivering 50,000 qi stones shocking him greatly. [Ok, I guess the pill is popular but how much are they charging for the healing pill?]

Seeing Ren come out of seclusion Matt walked up to him "Master I've found out about the rewards for the academy martial competition, The reward for first place has actually caused a lot of people to spend a fortune to nurture their most gifted genius in the generation that will enroll into the academy this year, its said that it will be a fruit called the enlightenment fruit. From what I've heard the City protector had found this on a journey he went on a few years ago but it wasn't m.a.t.u.r.e enough to properly benefit him, but for some reason he set it as the reward for this year's martial competition"

[Interesting the young fruit aren't too hard to find but its no wonder he didn't find a m.a.t.u.r.e one they always get picked by people trying to get instant benefits, I guess I might as well enter the academy then as it might actually help me gain some understanding towards this strange source seed. Deciding on what he would be doing for the next year at least Ren had a talk with Damon about going to the academy, although the academy provided lessons on cultivation and other subjects like pill refining, blacksmithing and many others the students didn't have to attend the lessons if they didn't need to. Damon said that he would also go to the academy so Ren and he started to work out what they would do leading up to the entrance exam.

Setting a schedule of teaching Damon, sparing with him and cultivating the two started working hard for the next 4 months so they could prepare themselves for the exam. Soon the 4 months passed and Ren and Damon left to sign up for the entrance exam.

Heading to the academy there was multiple booths set up with crystals in the middle and someone standing behind with a clipboard in their hand. "Next, Put your hand on the crystal it will check if you're the right age to enter the entrance exam."

[Although I'm now 10 years old these crystals are far to easy to cheat if you know what you're doing. I wonder if anyone is going to try and cheat it to get a chance at the enlightenment fruit]
