Chapter 114: God-level Treasure Chest in the Dark Temple

Two questions and one answer!

Standing in the room of Nyx’s temple, Apollo was still pondering.

Nyx said that with so much meaning.

Although she seemed easygoing, this dark goddess shrouded under a veil was still too mysterious for people to see through her reality.

“Apollo, you’re still thinking; the goddess is coming,” Hecate said softly as she walked up behind him and hugged him from behind.

Apollo smiled: “Aunt Asteria came quite quickly, and no wonder; she has been separated from uncle Perseus for too long.”

“Yes, the Father God was imprisoned in Tartarus when I was very young, and now I can finally be reunited with my family.”

Apollo felt sudden wetness on his back and looked back to find Hecate’s face pressed against his back, crystal tears dropping from the corners of her eyes.

In the darkness of night, he sighed softly, slowly turned around, took her hand, and said: “Let’s go see Aunt Asteria.”

Cleos and Perseus were placed in another room, and as soon as Apollo and Hecate entered, they saw Asteria, with her long, gorgeous hair, sitting by her husband Perseus’s bed; her eyes were fixed on Perseus’s cheek.

Apollo was reluctant to disturb her, but Asteria soon noticed their arrival and, with a strong smile, turned back: “Apollo, thank you for saving Hecate’s father and grandfather.”

Holding Hecate’s hand, Apollo walked slowly up to her and chuckled. “Aunt Asteria, don’t be a stranger. We’re family.”

Asteria looked at him and Hecate, and the corner of her eye twitched: “Do you mean from my sister or Hecate?”

“It’s the same. They are both your juniors anyway,” Apollo said indifferently, flicking his fingertips through Hecate’s brown hair.

Asteria glared at him, the sadness in her eyes receding. She got up and asked: “I heard Hecate say that Perseus and Lord Cleos both are in the Abyss, so to make them unconscious, there is really no way to make them come to their senses?”

“Goddess Nyx said that she has no other choice at the moment. Actually, I think with the power of this artifact and goddess Nyx’s divine power, I can try to suppress the power of Abyss first,” Apollo mused as he flew the golden book of light out of his hand, a brilliant ray of light.

“This divine weapon of yours is indeed extraordinary, and my dark night divine power is indeed helpful in stabilizing the emotions and calming the mind. It is possible to try, but probably still slightly suppressing the power of Tartarus at most, to lift it at all or need ‘hope’.”

Nyx’s soft voice appeared in the room.

Apollo nodded to the sky above; the radiant power of light enveloped over there Perseus and Cleos two.

The God of destruction and the God of weather opened their eyes in a flash.

“Perseus!” Asteria tried to call out her husband’s name.

But both Perseus and Cleos, with blank expressions, prayed with their mouths: “Great God of Abyss, You are the Lord of endless Hell, You are …”

Swish!

Apollo’s golden eyes flashed, and the hands of bright gold suddenly tumbled out of the heavenly light, enveloping the two.

At the same time, the sky above steeply descended a dark and deep night curtain, echoing the serene and restful serenade, covering the Perseus and Cleos overhead.

“Your name is forbidden… and the form of god… Saint you…”

The disorientation in the eyes of Perseus and Cleos subsided somewhat, but the mouth still kept reciting the name of Tartarus, only at a much slower pace.

“The glory of light shines on the spirits of those who are lost in the Abyss and guides them on the way back. There is truth and light ahead!” Holding the golden book of light, Apollo recited softly.

The sacred book, bright as gold, shone in the depths of the hearts of Perseus and Cleos, following the darkness of night.

The name of Abyss chanted by the mouth of the two gods stopped, and a struggle appeared on their faces as if they were struggling with something.

“It’s working,” Hecate called out in surprise.

Asteria’s face was even more filled with excitement.

Apollo increased the power of the golden book of light.

A steady stream of bright light poured into Perseus and his wife while the ‘omniscience’ eye opened and looked inside them.

Faintly, Apollo saw two streams of pure white light.

Those were the spirits of Perseus and Cleos, equivalent to the souls of mortals.

This should have been integrated into the body of gods, but at the moment was covered by a dark shadow, plunged in the darkness like a swamp, two white spirits, amid a constant struggle, but the more struggle into the deeper.

Nyx’s dark night divine power made the two spirits of Perseus tranquil and peaceful, while the power of Apollo’s golden book of light was like an invisible palm, pulling the two outward.

Gradually, the two spirits plunged into the shadow swamp area much smaller, the outside world Perseus, Cleos’ face was also a lot more peaceful, no longer the previous dazed and frenzied look.

Perseus’ eyes even appeared a trace of sobriety, dull stare at Asteria in front of him, throat hoarse wanting to make a sound, but seemed unable to do, could only slowly raise the palm.

“Perseus!” Asteria’s eyes were streaming with tears as she reached out her hand, and the two of them interlocked their fingers in a tight grip.

Looking at her mother and father, Hecate’s eyes could not help but be filled with emotion.

At that moment, Apollo’s face changed.

The power of the golden book of light continued to drag the spirits of Perseus and Cleos out of the shadow swamp. The dark shadow suddenly transformed into a distorted human face, smiling and opening its huge mouth, swallowing the two spirits.

“No one can get out of the Abyss, no!”

A deep voice echoed in Apollo and Nyx’s ears, and their eyes flickered as they suddenly struck again.

The power of night and light enveloped Perseus two on the spirit, little by little dragging them out of the mouth of giant twisted face.

The giant face was also not willing to show weakness, surging with the Abyss of darkness, giant mouth tearing two groups of spirits; the two sides launched a tug-of-war.

In the outside world, the two Perseus, who had regained some sanity, suddenly clasped their heads with their hands, roared in pain, and kept reciting the name of Abyss.

After a while, the two of them relaxed peacefully and stared up at several figures in front of them.

And so forth.

Eventually, Perseus and Cleos, both eyes covered with bloodshot lying on the bed, with a little spiritual wisdom, quietly stared around.

Mouth open, trying to say something.

“Perseus, you do not say. I understand what you mean.” Asteria tearfully hugged her husband and pulled Hecate along, “Our daughter is here, and she’s had a good time all these years.”

Hecate also went up to speak with her father.

Watching their exchange, Apollo put away the golden book of light and walked out in silence.

“Goddess Nyx, you’re right. Even if we work together, we can only suppress Tartarus’s soul,” Apollo said.

“That’s not surprising.” Nyx’s soft voice surfaced in the night.

“Every Primordial mastered different root; each has its specialties. The power of Tartarus’ Abyss is endless because it contains matter and mind unless it is a Primordial with similar characteristics as him. As long as the rank is far more than him, it can forcefully break his power.”

“Your battle power is strong, but the mental aspect is not a field you are good at, and my power of darkness is not a field in this area either.”

Apollo nodded and said to the sky: “Anyway, thank you, goddess, for your help.”

Alas, who let me like you such beautiful children you can consider selling your body in return, serve me for a few thousand years on it.” Nyx’s voice was tinged with light laughter.

Apollo smiled and did not answer.

“Maybe it’s because you’re old. After a few movements, you feel tired. You can find a place to stay by yourself. I want to sleep and recover.”

Nyx’s voice disappeared.

“Sleep?” Apollo looked around with the ‘all-seeing eye’ and found that the power belonging to the night had indeed faded.

“But she seems to be able to see through my ‘all-seeing eye’. Maybe it’s just hidden.” Apollo was a little clueless about the Goddess of night.

But after thinking about her, he still headed next to the black night domain.

Next to the field of darkness was the field of Erebus, the God of darkness and the husband of Nyx.

This was actually a dangerous place; the general gods, if you enter, will be lost in orientation and may be trapped inside forever.

But Apollo was not an ordinary god; he was the top light Main God of the ninth order extreme of the Main God. The power of the Etheric Divine Body was more than enough to compare to the Primordial.

Just some pitch black since it could stop him.

But as a light attribute god, in the dense darkness, he still felt some discomfort.

The stars in his body intertwined quickly through the outer and middle layers of the dark field to reach the deepest.

In the darkness, there was a tall temple standing.

Apollo emitted an aura.

This was actually equivalent to a letter of worship. If the God of darkness was in the temple and felt the breath released by him, he should respond whether he saw it or not.

But he waited for a while; there was no response at all inside.

So gently walked inside.

As with the outside, the only hue of this temple was pitch black.

The kind of black where you couldn’t see any light at all.

Even the Main God, who was here, would lose all perception.

But Apollo was the God of light, fighting against darkness and maintaining a certain line of sight in this temple.

Looking up at the sky, I saw a tall and thin figure sitting on a dark throne.

His face was completely shrouded by a burst of darkness. He could not see the exact appearance and could only barely see a pair of tightly closed eyes; overall gave people a mysterious cold feeling.

Apollo scanned the surrounding area and saw a small, dark golden box on the left side of the hall.

He hurriedly went there and picked up the box.

Just then, the tightly closed eyes of the pitch-black figure above opened a slit unexpectedly.
