Her Tempestuous Villain

Chapter 166 - Villain Without FL (5)

*A While Ago*

Sunye was strapped to a chair by the two guards who watched over her. She had been pretending to be unconscious and gathered snippets of their conversation. Choi Taek was planning for an auction in the country within a few days and he was bringing in a new shipment of slaves but this time, the Company was going to keep an eye on him. The venue of the auction was still a mystery.

"I hear that this girl is linked to the Prime Minister's son!" Cheng remarked. "She's his hussy or something."

Sunye's temper boiled. Jonghyun's hussy? Never!

"She has a fine piece of ass," Yan smirked. "I hope the boss will let us have a taste before sending her to the auction."

"The boss will probably taste a bit of it himself!" Cheng chortled. "He's got big plans for this hussy. She ruined his plans. He's gonna make sure she never forgets him."

The two men were laughing hard at that but Sunye's temper was starting to flare. Listening to their disgusting conversation was testing her patience but she stayed calm. She focused on her senses, her eyes still blindfolded.

Concentrating hard, she focused on the sounds around her. She could hear water rushing somewhere so they were near a bathroom. The scent of bricks hung in the air so it was some kind of cellar and the ground beneath her was made of concrete. Judging by the heat, she deduced there were no windows but only one door.

The guards were busy talking. Sunye's hands were tied to her back against a chair. She carefully moved her hands, unstitching one of the sharp needles she had hidden in her shirt. It was a long process but Orea had helped her master it. Making sure that the guards were still talking, she began to poke holes in the rope binding her. The men were talking and laughing, not paying attention to the unconscious woman. Finally, Sunye felt the ropes loosen.

"We'd better check on this hussy," one of the guards said. Cheng, probably, began to walk towards her. She held her breath as she heard him approaching her. He had leaned down to inspect her.

"She's still out-"

The rest of his sentence was drowned by the sudden jab.

"AHHHHHH!" He screamed in agony as blood gushed out of his eye and he fell backwards on the floor, slithering with pain.

Sunye attacked and stabbed the needle straight into his eye. Yan jumped forward but Sunye punched him hard. She took off her blindfold and saw that Yan was lunging at her again. This time, he managed to hold her by the hair and threw her against the wall. Sunye growled and kicked him in the groin so hard that Yan doubled over in pain. Taking the opportunity, she hit him on the back of his neck, making him unconscious. She grabbed his gun and was about to leave but Cheng stood up and tackled her. He grabbed the gun, trying to wrestle it from her.

They struggled for a while. Cheng was fighting to tackle her but Sunye pushed the gun towards his neck and shot him.

Blood splattered all over her as the large man froze and died, slumping over her. Sunye kicked him away and took off her jacket and shirt. Underneath, she was wearing a bulletproof vest. Taking off her heels, she broke it apart to reveal a knife she had hidden there. She grabbed the unconscious Yan and took off his clothes. She put on his pants and hid the knife and a piece of paper in her pocket.

Footsteps approached her way and she paused. Pointing the gun at the door, she waited for more guards to arrive. Her heart was thumping hard and she was ready to kill in order to complete her mission. A strange mania overcame her, rendering her sense of right or wrong. Rather, she was focused on taking out the Choi's who were responsible for the destruction of so many innocent lives.

Pointing the gun at the door, she was ready to strike…

BAM!

The door broke open and a masked guard entered the room. For a moment, the guard was taken aback by the bloody scene. She was about to shoot when a voice came from the mask.

"Sunye…"

Her heart stopped for a moment. How long had it been since she heard that voice? A day? Two days? Or an eternity.

"Take off your mask," she whispered as if she wanted to know who it really was. Please…

The guard took off his mask and those piercing blue eyes met hers. In a trance, Sunye lowered the gun, registering SD's appearance as if she had seen him after days. He was looking at her with a mix of worry and pride but relief was written all over his face.

Without a word, he stepped forward and kissed her hard.

Sunye kissed him back, feeling the taste of his lips against hers like a starving lioness. Their lips were fiercely fighting for dominance while their tongues were tangled in a passionate fervor which they had been suppressing for days. She moaned as he parted her lips, entering her mouth. He held her close, kissing her as if there was no tomorrow.

SD did not care if someone walked in at that time and found them because all he wanted was to make sure Sunye was safe. Seeing her in front of him was no less than a dream come true and he held her body close to him. The sight of her in the middle of this battle, fighting on her own was something to behold and he wanted to savor every bit of her.

"SD…" She whispered, panting in between their kisses. "We still have something to do…"

SD groaned and broke off the kiss. "That was a hot scene," he murmured.

Sunye smirked. "If we get out of here alive, I have something even hotter planned," she winked at him. "But now, we have to do something."

She backed out and picked up the guard's jacket. SD handed her a spare mask and she put it on, tying her hair tight. The jacket was large but it hid her chest well so she could pass off as a man easily. Once she was done, she faced SD.

"What's next, Captain?" he winked.

"We need to break into Choi Taek's room," she said. "And put this there for Jonghyun to find. But first…"

She took a deep breath and braced herself.

"I want to know if you will tell me the truth," she demanded. "I need assurance that you will keep your end of the bargain."

After knowing SD for so many years, she knew that he might abc away from telling her the truth about his real intentions. She wanted to be sure that he was not going to do that this time.

SD was silent for a long time.

"Sorry Sunye," he said.

Sunye's heart fell hearing those words and she was about to tell him off when he said, "I might not be able to make you my Empress. After all, a fallen prince no longer has a kingdom to rule."

She was shocked to hear those words. Empress...that was a promise San had made to her. But how did he know?

"But I can give you a strawberry licorice wedding ring," he winked as he put on his mask.

San.. Kim San. He was San!
