Alex smiled when he saw the stats. He pressed back to see his entire stats to check if anything changed or not.

'Ah! My health and Mana changed. I don't particularly feel different but I guess there must have been a difference in my power as well. I also hope that increasing my intelligence will help me able to process things quicker cause right now, it only looks like it gave my more Mana. I don't feel smarter…' Alex scratched his head. He had to figure out the system and how it worked by trial and error.

At this moment, Alex also decided to look at his inventory. He pressed a prompt [Inventory]

Alex furrowed his eyebrows, He didn't remember having 3 skills. He could link 2 skills to Reaper's cut and Might but he didn't know the third one.

"Did I get a third skill?" Alex looked excited. He quickly went to open the skills that he had but was interrupted just before he would see.

"Alex… Are you okay? Why were you speaking to yourself?"

It was Hana, she had just returned to take Alex into the questioning room but she noticed him acting weird.

Alex just stared at Hana with big eyes. He didn't know what to say.

'Oh shit. I made a mistake and got carried away by the system. I'll just have to make up something.' Alex froze.

He wanted to say something but he couldn't, he just froze.

Hana's scary gaze made him tense up even more.

"You look like you a guilty puppy that was caught doing something that it wasn't supposed to, haha" Hana started to laugh when she saw Alex freeze up.

She turned around, still giggling, and said, "Alex, don't worry about it. We all have our secrets. Now come, follow me. Your questioning will begin soon."

Alex was surprised. He had only met Hana this day but he knew what type of woman she was. He knew that she was stern and serious when it came to people so seeing her laugh so much was probably something extremely rare. Alex was a man who appreciated rare and beautiful things so he knew that he had to appreciate that laugh and keep it in my memory.

The two got in an elevator and went downwards.

"Underground?" Alex was surprised.

Hana nodded, "Indeed, underground is more secure. Now come on, let's just finish this questioning quickly. Just account for everything that happened and you will be free. Of course, you will have to wait for me as well." Hearing her words, Alex took a small breath of relief. He knew that Hana was action very kind to him but he had no idea why.

'I guess I can just accept her kindness, and give back when I can. If I think about how the others were looking at me… I'm sure that I would be treated very bad if I wasn't guided by Hana. So I will remember her kindness in my heart.' Alex thought as he followed behind Hana.

As Alex followed her, he noticed that his surroundings were thick metal walls. There were cameras everywhere. Guards, with guns in their hands stood every 4 meters. Their eyes on Alex and Hana.

"Come, this is the room," Hana said as she opened a metal door. As Alex followed behind Hana, he noticed how thick the door actually was. It was nearly as thick as his own head! Alex then looked towards Hana like she was a monster, 'I don't think that I can budge the door even a millimeter but she just opened it without like it was nothing. How powerful is she?!'

In his state of surprise, Alex didn't notice that there was someone in the room staring at him. Hana looked towards the woman and said, "Mary Warndorf, Why are you here?" She didn't seem too happy with the woman being there.

Alex looked towards the woman, he was shocked. 'She's a beaut as well!' Mary was a little shorter than Hana, but she was a little curvier. Her most attractive attribute was her smooth tanned skin, which would make any man fall for her. She had blue eyes and long hair falling to her waist. She gave away the aura of a mischievous but beautiful lady.

"I'm here instead of John. The General told me to come and participate in this, you know how protective he is of Rhino." The girl mischievously smiled as she continued to look at Alex.

Alex, who was still dazed by Mary's beauty shook his head. What he heard were some important things.

'That big guy was important to the General of this nation? Or was he a family member? If that's the case, they will put someone on me to keep watch 24 / 7. I hope that's not the case.' He was very concerned.

Hana shook her head, "It doesn't matter. Just do the report writing, I'll do the questioning. I just want to get it over with. This has been a long day for me as well." She sighed.

Mary nodded while smiling, "Alex? Can you take your seat there?" She said as she pointed towards a chair that was in the middle of the room.

Alex only nodded and followed directions. Mary walked to Alex and said with a small smirk, "You know, if you dressed up a bit more sharp, maybe get a haircut… You can look super cute, maybe even steal Hana's hear…" Just before She could finish her sentence, Mary was pulled away by Hana.

"No more joking. Let's begin the Questioning." Hana said as she sat in front of Alex.

Mary giggled and stood next to Hana, note, and pen in her hands.

Alex nodded and looked around, the walls in the room were also made of metal. The only exit was the one that Alex used to enter but even that was blocked off by an armed guard. His surrounding was very tense.

The questioning happened as planned, Hana asked Alex questions on what happened inside the test, from how the combat began to how he ended the battle. Alex answered everything truthfully, only leaving out the parts where he used the System.

After an hour of questioning, Hana asked the last question, " How did you get stronger out of nowhere. At first, you said that you weren't confident enough to defeat him you out of nowhere got a sudden surge of power… Do you have any ideas on it?"

It was a strange question for Alex. Before this, Hana's questions were all straightforward, and answering them was easy but here, Alex didn't know how to answer.

"I… I don't know. I just felt a sudden boost of power and I just beat him… After that, I felt like my powers were back to normal like nothing had happened." Alex just answered, acting clueless.

Hana nodded, "It seems like we will need more time determining your power and potential. We might also need to call Master Zhun to check you but for now. We're all done."

Hana then looked towards Mary. "You know more about Rhino than me anyway. I shall leave as well. You take care of the rest. I've had a long day, it was supposed to be a holiday for me after that last predicted gate but I'm still working. Tell your boss that I'm heading off."

Mary looked surprised by Hana's Words, she couldn't believe that Hana wanted to get the rest of the day off.

Mary then looked towards Alex and smiled, "If you're taking him. Get that guy a hair cut at least. It's a waste letting his cute face be ruined by that shaggy hair." Hana took a deep breath and pulled Alex out of the Room. Mary just giggled as she watched the two exit the room.

"Alright then. You said that you wanted to have a look around the city. This is the best time to do so. It's 7 pm now, you don't know this but the city is 10 times better at night. Now come, We'll also do some shopping. Normally you would be put in the facility, but due to your circumstances, you will be in an apartment. SO you do need a pair of clothes. Also, I don't want to agree with Mary but You do need a haircut. From what I understand, they will make use of you as you showed some powers. We wouldn't want an awakened to have such a shaggy hair now, would we?" Hana said as she quickly walked into the elevator.

Alex followed behind her as he scratched his head, He had not a clue on how to reply to her.

Just as the two of them entered the elevator, a loud siren was heard, followed by a voice from the speakers. Hana's face dimmed as she heard the words.

"CLASS C GATE HAS APPEARED IN THE CITY OF UTO."
