Sir Fire Looked towards the now visible reaper, in confusion. He looked towards the figure who hit the reaper, who was celebrating.

"I was just in time!"

A woman's voice came from the background, "You have to thank me and my car for that. If I hadn't driven like that, god knows what could have happened."

Sir Fire looked towards the source of the Woman's voice and exclaimed, "Hana?! Why are you here? Someone like you appearing in a mere C-Rank gate, that also with support?" He was surprised to see Hana.

Hana, who had just exited her car looked towards Sir Fire with a bitter expression. "I just came here to show Alex a C rank gate," Hana replied as she looked towards Alex.

"Alex, Don't forget that you have to end it's life. That thing is of no use, it's the gate is disappearing and if kept here… It will just go around killing others."

She said as Alex was about to return to her.

Alex looked shocked, he slowly turned towards the injured reaper and didn't know what to do. Before Alex could do anything, the swordsman rushed towards the reaper, cleanly cutting its head off. The man looked angry, very angry.

His face was filled with rage, he quickly turned towards Alex and said, "Thank you! You saved Shin…"

Alex smiled back and said, "It's okay, I came here to help out anyways." But he felt weird on the inside, The thought of killing was something that Alex didn't like. But he knew that he had to change, the real world was harsh. He had to be tougher and had to evolve.

Alex looked towards the prompts with confusion, 'This is similar to what happened in the gate. I lost exp, but why? I did nothing wrong, I saved someone's life as well. But I still lost exp.' Alex knew that he had to get to the bottom of why he lost exp like that. But for now, he would need to wait for some time.

Hana shook her head when she saw Alex. She looked towards the Sir FIre and said, "You took 3 rookies on your own and stayed far away. Didn't you realize that this might have been a mistake? At least stay close and watch from up close just in case something does happen."

She sounded angry. Sir Fire scratched his head and looked towards the injured girl. "Don't worry, nothing serious happened, we have a healer who will fix up your eye. It'll be like nothing had happened. I'll also pay the fees for the healing, It was partially my fault."

The girl looked towards Sir Fire and smiled widely, "Thank you, Sir Fire, you truly are the best!" She exclaimed in happiness.

Sir fire took out his phone and walked away.

Alex walked towards Hana and looked at Sir Fire, "You really don't like him, do you?"

Hana looked towards Sir Fire and nodded, "A scum of a man. Uses his looks and power to impress girls just to have them for the night. Then he acts as nothing happened. I stayed away from his from the beginning cause I knew what type of a man he was from first but I will not forgive him for the sake of the other women."

Alex nodded, he could see that Sir Fire was a very good looking man. 'He looks to be in his fifties but still has the aura of a young man. He would also look young if it wasn't for his grey hair and beard. But again, we do have a word for that type of men…'

Alex audibly mumbled, "Silver fox."

Hana looked towards Alex in confusion, but a small smile peaked on her face as she looked back at Sir Fire, "You are correct."

Hana then turned towards her car, "Come, we have nothing else. The paperwork and everything will be dealt with by SIr Fire. We were only here to watch, you getting involved was just saving a life."

Alex nodded and followed Hana back to her car. A small sweat dripped from his forehead thinking of How Hana had driven them to this place.

"Wait!"

Just before Alex could enter the car, Sir Fire called him to wait.

"You, I haven't seen you before." He looked at Alex with a confused gaze.

"I'm Alex," Alex replied simply. Hana continued on, "He is my guest. Leave us be, for now, You'll know him tomorrow."

"You're still so cold Hana, Why don't I help you warm up? I'll buy dinner for us both." Sir FIre smiled back at Hana.

Hana furrowed her eyebrows, she didn't like what Sir Fire just said in the slightest. She looked towards Alex with an annoyed gaze.

Alex instantly understood what Hana meant and quickly entered the car. 'I don't even know her powers but my guts tell me not to piss her off, not now and not in the future.' More sweat dripped down Alex's face as he thought of the consequences of angering Hana.

Sir Fire only smiled when he saw the two leave. He expected that reply but offered the dinner anyways.

Alex, who was completely silent in the car, tried to navigate this UI. He still had to check what extra skill he had.

"Why are you so silent? You went from talking to completely silent." Hana said as she continued to drive the car

Alex smiled and said, "Well, I'm not that good in talking anyways. I don't have any questions, plus I'm still trying to get my head across everything that has happened to me."

Alex then looked outside the window, a big smile appeared on his face as he did so, "The city looks amazing at night."

"Hmm, true. It's 8 pm now but the shops might still be open." Hana glanced towards Alex, specifically towards his hair.

Alex tilted his head in confusion because he didn't know why Hana said the stores were open.

Hana looked toward the road and took a deep breath, "Okay, I don't like agreeing with Mary, but she was right. We're going to get you a new pair of clothes and a new haircut. It's going to be important for tomorrow. You're going to have to look your best.

I was originally not going to write this chapter today but this novel is growing so fast that I ignored my headache and just wrote and I'm happy that it didn't turn out bad.
