Hero System! Transported to Another World

Alex paused for a while before continuing, "What? A dungeon, similar to the trials I had to go through before to get you? But this time others might access it?"

"Exactly, I am not sure about that 2nd part so it might not be the case. This power of yours is a weird one, even I can't properly access it at the moment so I don't have exact details. But what this does mean is that once you get in there and clear it, you'll have more power! I believe that this will lead you to break through to the S rank threshold. As that woman said, you're close but not there. Hell, someone is above you still in the A ranks so you gave a lot more to gain in terms of power." Hades explained to Alex.

Hearing Hades's explanation, Alex was excited but also felt a bit burnt out, He lied on the couch and sighed, "I just wanted some free time before getting back into action. It looked like I would be getting some rest before Ryan would assign me to a job but it looks like I need to do this dungeon for more power…" He seemed to whine. 

Hades laughed and commented, "Kid, I understand your feelings. I believe that the rest you want is more than needed. I'm just telling you about the dungeon because I actually have no power on it when it appears. All I know is that we have a key to open it and that it will appear sometime soon. That soon might be in a minute or a few weeks from now. No matter for now just rest. Although you received physical rest, you do need some mental rest as well." He seemed to understand Alex's feeling pretty well.

Alex smiled when he heard Hades, He nodded and spoke, "I guess. For now, I do want to have a walk around the city. I've been around it, sure but I want to explore it properly." Alex said to himself before changing into his suit armor once again. 

He looked at himself in the mirror and smiled, "I never knew that this thing could just evolve during battle and just turn into a hard almost unbreakable armor. Right now, it's just fabric but as soon as I need it, I can transform it into armor." Alex spoke as he watched the suit turn thick and back to normal.

After some time, Alex walked out of the room and went to the reception. There, he saw a familiar face. 

"Midnight?" Alex looked at the familiar face. Next to midnight, another familiar person sat down, "buster… Both of you are here it seems." Alex looked happy.

The two smiled back at Alex. Buster spoke, "it looks like the kid who I had to teach has already outgrown me… At least that's what I heard from the story. Yuu were already as powerful when fighting me in that little spar her had but to think you were just holding back more things… It makes me happy and a little bit jealous, haha!" Buster laughed.

Alex laughed back, he had nothing to say but he was happy that the two were on such friendly terms with him to be that close. Midnight also smiled and spoke, "Do you have any plans? I assume that there aren't any jobs for you right now." She asked.

"Well, I don't have any jobs but I do want to explore a bit of this city… I only did a little bit because Hana wanted to get be clothes and a hair cut but after that, I just haven't been out unless it's a mission or a gate appearing somewhere. Although It seems like I got used to it already, I do come from an entirely other reality so it's still a weird experience because everything feels the same except smaller changes here and there… So I want to just experience many things here." Alex spoke truthfully.

Midnight and Buster smiled at Alex's answer. They both looked at one another and nodded. It looked like they had decided on doing something. The two stood up and grabbed Alex's hands and pulled him outside. 

"Well, you can't still properly go outside without some form of supervision but since we're here, I guess it makes things easier. I think Imani would normally join you but we're stealing you before your girlfriends see! Haha!" Midnight laughed as they walked towards the road.

Alex didn't know how to react but he laughed along with them and nodded. 

Buster went to his car and the two followed. After entering, Midnight looked at Alex and asked, "What's the number one place that you want to visit?" 

Alex thought for a while before answering, "The temples… It's a bit from this city from what I can remember but I'm interested In the history of this place as well. The older buildings remind me of my own home country in terms of architecture." Alex replied.

The two looked at Alex with a slightly surprised expression but smiled. "That's a pretty good answer. I was expecting something like a club or similar but a temple… I'd say That's some place I want to visit once again as well. You won't regret it!" Buster smiled as he accelerated the car. 

Midnight nodded as well. 

Some time passed as the three admired the surroundings through the car windows. As they drove, the sound of a phone ringing filled the car. Alex looked at his phone and slowly picked it up. 

Buster looked at Alex and laughed, "I guess your girlfriend called you as soon as she found out, haha." 

Alex smiled awkwardly as he listened to the voice in the call. "Alex? I heard you got up so I came to check up on you but I was informed that you left some time ago… Where are you?" Hana's voice sounded sweet even through the phone.

Alex laughed and replied, "I guess you could say that I was kidnapped... When I said that I wanted to explore the city a bit more, I was taken away by Midnight and Buster to tour."
