Hero System! Transported to Another World

"Sir…" A voice called. 

"Yeah? Anything new?" Sir Fire's voice replied. He was sitting in a large room filled with computers. The person who called for him answered, "There was a sudden burst in energy in this general area. The ping was around a few dozen kilometers from here but we can't pinpoint it. It came with a high burst, a similar amount to an S rank gate but as soon as it appeared, It slowly started to decrease till there was nothing." The man explained.

Sir fire nodded and opened up his computer, "It is strange, send me the recording of the energy on our sensors… I think I have a theory for this." He frowned.

Some time passed as Sir fire received the files and went through them. After some time Sir Fire got up and picked up his phone, "Buster, where are you?" He spoke in a hurried fashion.

"In the car, I was in the city next door to visit the temples with Alex," Buster answered.

Sir fire furrowed his eyebrows and continued, "Was there anything off with the place around you? We have a  huge burst of energy happen around the city area but we can't discern where it came from. Just that the area where it might be is a few dozen kilometers from the city is all that we could get. So something might have happened around you." He explained

Buster thought back for a bit and answered "I didn't notice anything off so I don't think it happened around the city areas but the more remote places." 

Sir fine nodded and continued, "Okay, I have a theory on what might be happening but not on the phone. Come to the office as soon as you get here." He ended the call.

Buster ended the call in his car as well and took a deep breath, "Things just keep on happening. Can't catch a break properly without it. I can't imagine how Ryan must have gone through the last few months after Master Zhun gave him all of his work as well…"

Hana entered her Car and picked up her phone to call someone. "Hello, Hana?" Ryan answered the phone.

"Ryan, what happened. What do you mean by emergency?" Hana asked as she looked at the message talking about an emergency.

Ryan took some time and answered, "Well, we had a huge burst of energy readings picked up but they keep on disappearing after appearing. Just now, We had another one, this time it was the biggest we've had so far this month, equivalent to S ranked Gates but nothing. It just disappeared and we don't even know where it comes from exactly. That message was for me to ask you to keep an eye out as well. We're ready to call the S ranked awakened as soon as something appears because I think something big is about to happen with all these energy readings." He explained slowly.

Hana furrowed her eyebrows and took a deep breath, "Okay, Thank you. I'll be ready." She answered and ended the phone call. The warm expression on her face died down slowly as Hana started to show concern. 

"That doesn't make sense… Do the random bursts of energy mean that will happen? I can't recall much from memory but if that is the case, it seems like He found out something… It can't be because of Alex, can it? Or is it to recruit more people? Whatever the case, I can't let him find me or Alex. At least till both of us haven't reached his level." Hana looked serious. She looked at her phone and almost called Alex but stopped herself. "He wanted to relax today, I'll talk to him when he returns. I feel bad for him always being thrown into different situations without much break." She smiled and drove to the apartment.

Alex looked at the hand coming out of the gate. It wasn't extremely big but significantly larger than his own hands. Alex could quickly recognize what it was, "reapers… Luckily just the normal kind but they're as big as the one I fought in the desert…" Alex sounded a bit worried.

'Don't worry, these are just larger in size but their powers are just around B rank… The system made it so you would get more practice fighting efficiently. So you need to master killing these weaker ones without expending much time or energy. So no flashy abilities. What we can do here is simple.' Hades spoke.

Alex nodded and waited for the Reaper to exit the gate.

"Kekeke' The reaper laughed as it took out its knife and rushed towards Alex.

Looking at the reaper, Alex extended his gun's blades and jumped to the reaper. Before the reaper could do much, Alex Stabbed its head and then its chest. Alex jumped back expecting the reaper to fall dead but the reaper stumbled and continued onwards towards Alex.

After some more stumbling, It fell over and died from bleeding.

'Kid, I wanted to see how you would kill it so I didn't give you any help… What you did was effective but not enough. These reapers' hearts are different, You need to aim more towards the center of their chest. Where you stabbed only grazed its heart but wasn't deep enough to make it bleed. Also, aim at its other vital areas, the stomach is good, or immobilize it by cutting its tendons and ending it with the bullet… The blade into the brain won't do much, Sure, you might have cut into the brain but unlike the bullets, It only does that, cut it slightly. You either rotate the blade so that more parts get affected or stab it multiple times. The way you attacked it just now will kill it but it took time.' Hades explained.

Alex closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "okay, The next one, I'll do as you tell me. I didn't realize that they were that different from us, especially that heart part."
