One of the three walked towards Alex and smiled, "It will be harsh for you. Some will hate you while some will love you. I'm Nitro, a S rank awakened." The man then points towards the man and the woman behind him, "The beautiful Woman is Midnight and the lad is Buster. They are both A-rank awakened and my juniors. I hope you all get along."

Alex smiled and shook Nitro's hands, "I'm Alex, and it's very nice to meet you. Midnight and Buster, Nice to meet you two as well."

After the formalities were done, Nitro looked towards Hana and smiled, "Miss Hana, I'm still with Master Zhun on what he said. There is no one else perfect for the job but you. Please, don't let Gold take the spot."

Master Zhun smiled when he heard Nitro, He looked towards Hana and said, "Hana, I know you're young and I know that you've been through enough. You've seen the bitter and dark side of the world as soon as you become awakened. But this is the moment you can change it. If you become in charge, You can enforce stricter rules and implement them. Even though the government has officially stopped experiments… Some go missing as soon as they are awakened. That is the reason I want you to do this."

Master Zhun then looked at the door and said, "I'll tell you this, You weren't the first few who were awakened. This isn't the best place to tell you this but I'm sure you already have an idea on what happened to the ones who were first awakened."

Hearing Master Zhun's words, Hana's eyes opened wide, "You mean to tell me that we were never the first batch?"

Master Zhun Nodded but he didn't answer. He looked towards Nitro.

Understanding what Master Zhun said to him, Nitro nodded and looked towards Hana, "Miss, there are many more secrets kept from us than we thought but I'd like to not say them here. There aren't any listeners but It's still better to stay safe than sorry." Nitro then looked towards Alex, "Alex, from what I see. Miss Hana has faith in you. I know that you won't disclose what we talked about here. But I would like to ask you. Help us, we need Miss Hana to be the new leader of the Awakened."

Hana looked towards Alex, she didn't know what to say. Alex smiled and turned his gaze towards Hana, "I don't know the dynamics of this place. I don't know the context of anything yet. All I can say for now is, Hana is her own woman. From what I hear, she has been through a lot. I'm sure she is more than capable of making proper decisions on her own. I'll not speak on this, I don't have the authority or power to do so. I'm just a silent watcher for all this."

Hana smiled when she heard Alex. Master Zhun and Nitro also nodded when they heard Alex.

"I can respect your opinion Alex, I really do. Apologize if I sounded like I was forcing you. After a reaper somehow infiltrated the facility and mind-controlled Rhino, we've been on edge. Hana is supposed to be one of the main caretakers of the Facility so something like that happened under her nose was something that I know they will use." Nitro looked at Alex.

Master Zhun clapped his hands, "Well, we leave this for now. The meeting shall begin soon. Today is not the decision day, it's just a discussion on what happened yesterday. So why fret on this right now. We have time. Hana needs to also think about this as well, and an unready leader is a useless one. They might create destruction rather than build."

Master Zhun walked out of the room. Nitro looked towards Alex and smiled, Alex smiled back.

Nitro then looked towards his junior and walked out of the Room, behind Master Zhun.

Midnight and Buster smiled back and walked towards Alex, Midnight poked Alex's stomach and said, "Wow! You're also ripped!"

Alex looked at Midnight with a surprised expression as he backed away. Midnight continues to giggle when she saw Alex back away, she seemed to be teasing him.

Buster hit midnight on her head and looked at Alex, "Forgive her. She just likes to tease everyone she sees. I'll be heading towards the meeting place now." He said as he dragged midnight out of the room.

Alex couldn't help but laugh when he saw the scene of Buster dragging midnight.

Hana looked towards the door and said, "I guess we also go to the meeting. It'll be a boring one and I'll probably be accused of something again. I don't understand why they dislike me that way but I genuinely don't care anymore."

Alex nodded and followed Hana, "It doesn't matter if people hate you or love you. As long as you are yourself, nothing changes. If you care then that just means that you base your life over what others think about you, not what you think of yourself."

Hana stopped for a second and looked towards Alex. She tilted her head with a confused expression. "I didn't know you had that in you, I'm impressed." She said as she walked out of the door.

"Well, me either. I just said what came to my mind. It sounds cheesy but In my opinion, is the biggest truth."

Hana shook her head and looked towards Alex, "Come along now, leave that topic for now. The meeting room is at just around the hallway."

Alex smiled and followed behind Hana.

After a quick walk, Alex and Hana stood outside the meeting room. As Alex peeked his head in, He could see that those people were instantly glaring at him. He laughed awkwardly and let Hana enter. 'I don't have a place here so I can just return to the apartment, right? I just hope they don't call me cause I defeated the mind-controlled Rhino. Dealing with these people will just be annoying."
