Alex looked at Buster with shocked eyes, he didn't know what to say, he was just in complete shock by Buster's words. Midnight out her hand on Alex's shoulder and said, "It's okay, It's no longer a thing. The government did experiment with serums but it was quickly stopped…" Alex nodded when he heard Midnight, 'The ones who thought of making these serums are the true villains here, Who could even think of that…'

Alex looked at Buster, an idea came into his mind, "If they take only a small amount, Can't that energy come somehow rejuvenate? I mean, awakened people seem to grow their powers as they train so that means that even if they have their energy taken, they can still practice and train to get back their lost energy, can't that?"

Buster smiled when he heard Alex, "I wish it was that simple, We still don't fully understand the concept of awakened energy. Who knows, it might be entirely wrong. We only use this concept as it best explains what we see when he researches the awakened body. That energy could be something else but as our understanding till now, the closest thing we have to explain it is energy… But even if we take the concept of that energy, we have so many questions our selves. Alex looked at Buster and said, "That means that anyone who uses a serum is using something gained by sacrificing an awakened's powers and potentially their life." 

Buster nodded when he heard Alex, He was about to continue to say something but was interrupted by a voice in front of him. "That would be the best-case scenario for that awakened. I've heard more died from the failure of the experimental tools than what would happen to them after their energy gets extracted. Out of every 100 people, only one serum was made. Half of them died before the extraction process began and the other half had all of their energy extracted but only 5 percent of that energy was usable. In an awakened's body, a huge amount of this energy is in reserve, meaning that we don't use it. Only a small percent is used. It's just as we train, we get used to this energy and can utilize it more to become more powerful. Although I am 100 percent sure that what we call energy is something entirely different, our science only stretches so far so until we find out what it is, we'll call energy. Back to the topic of serums, as only a small percent of the energy being usable, you can see that we have a huge problem. A normal serum mixture requires at least 30-50 people's worth of usable energy, from the reports, the two intruders had one serum each on them, and that also a higher potent serum that increased their powers by an entire rank. The serum I just talked about which used 30-50 people could only increase an awakened's powers by 10 percent." 

Alex looked surprised by the dump of information coming from behind him. He looked back and saw Sir Fire explaining more about the serums. He looked back at the buster who was smiling when he heard Sir fire. Midnight also looked to be happy when she heard Sir Fire. 

Sir fire ignore them and looked at Alex, His face seemed to be a lot calmer now than he saw before. He continued, "These serums are illegal for a reason but are also very common in the black market. Hell, you will find a serum in every Awakened criminal's house. The person behind all of this must be the same person who has the ability to mind control. These blobs are the best proof of that. Parasites that absorb only energy, what if he could extract that energy from the victim? Buster didn't say this but the parasites only absorb the active energy, so it would be faster and simpler once you figure out how to extract the energy. I pressure Hana went on a mission by herself right? She looked very angry when I saw her this morning." 

Alex nodded when he heard Sir Fire's question. Sir Fire looked a bit happy when he saw Alex nod, "Good. It seems like we might be in search of the same person. I believe that the same scientist might be someone who works for the man who is behind the mind controls, getting more victims for his leader to experiment on and he might get some benefits like having a few people for himself to do his experiments. Although only my students are the ones who seem to have fallen to the mind control, we've proved with Axa's corpse that as soon as the victim dies, the parasites just disappear as nothing has happened. Since then, we've had some cases of people being found dead without any signs of struggle or illness. Not even these parasites. So that's why I'm more than sure that there have been more victims but they weren't tested before they died. The thing that points to that conclusion is the fact that more people are disappearing, especially newly awakened humans."
