Alex looked at the chair with a weird look, 'I thought there would be more cushioning but it's just bare and hard steel. That's not comfortable at all. Hell, I think it might not be good for my back to sit on such a chair.' He judged the chair.

As Alex looked at the chair, the sounds of doors opening entered Alex's ears. He looked back to where he entered the room but saw that it was still close. Alex then turned around to see another doorway open up from the walls. Alex looked over to see an old man in a white coat entered the room. He had a big pair of glasses and a bald head. He looked at Alex and smirked, "So you're the boy getting special treatment." He then pointed at the chair and spoke, "Sit down, I'll hook you up to the helmet and the wires. The quicker you follow my orders, the quicker It's done with." He sounded a bit grumpy.

Alex didn't know what to do, He couldn't help but chuckle a bit when he heard the man's voice. 'His voice sounds like those typical geeks in movies. Which is funnier because of his job…' Alex sat down on the chair and mumbled, 'I guess those movies weren't exaggerating the scientist characters sounding like that.' Alex chuckled again.

The Man looked At Alex with an annoyed face. He coughed and looked at Alex, "Just sit down and relax. Nothing else from you. I'll do the rest now." His voice sounded a lot more grumpy after seeing Alex chuckle. Alex nodded and held in his laughter. He looked as the man attached different wires to his hands and legs. 'Looking at his expression, It seems like he gets this too much. I guess It would be annoying for people to laugh at your voice all the time… I'll apologize to him later.' Alex made a note in his mind. He felt bad after realizing that the man seemed to get such laughter all the time.

Imani watched as Alex was being hooked up to the chair. She laughed, "Poor guy, He must get that a lot."

*Buzz* *Buzz*

Imani looked at her phone to see that she was getting a call from Ryan. She quickly picked it up and spoke, "Hello?"

"Imani, how's the training going so far for Alex? Looking at the time, You must be in charge right now. So tell me how much Midnight crammed into his brains about skills to use." Ryan laughed.

Imani laughed as well and replied, "Master Ryan, everything is going very very well. Alex is like a born martial artist, He learned every move that midnight put on him within a few minutes just from observing how others do it. It was honestly scary to think that such a person exists." Imani spoke in slight awe at Alex's speed at learning.

A few seconds of silence came. Ryan seemed to be thinking. "Well, I guess Master Zhun's suspicion on him was correct… Alex needs to be trained a lot but we also must be careful with him. Don't make enemies with him no matter what. It seems like we have another Hana with us. From what I've seen and observed by talking to Alex, I'd say that he is safe. Not only that, but I feel some type of calming and friendly energy coming from him which makes me trust him more but It may all be a ruse… The evilest people inside have the most comforting and friendly outside." Ryan spoke, He was unsure about Alex. He felt friendliness from Alex but also a slight feeling of unease.

Imani nodded, "I know my mission master. Train Alex but also observe him closely. Although It seems like I can't be as close to him as I wanted, It seems like Midnight is closer to him… Even the Cold Queen Hana seems to be very close to Alex but It doesn't look like he wants me to be close to him. He seemed to be in a hurry to shoo me away when I went to talk to him yesterday night. He didn't say anything like that but his body language did seem hurried and slightly annoyed when I was talking to him." Imani said with a slight sigh.

"That's fine, Just continued to talk to him properly and in a friendly tone. He seems to be a genuine person so I wouldn't say that you would need to be too cautious. He might have his own thing to do that night and you might have dropped in at the wrong time. So I'm sure that you'll get to be closer to him. Master Zhun really is pushing all the stops for Alex to get stronger so He must have seen something that made him decide to put lots of effort to make him stronger. So tell me, Anything new about Alex other than his ability to learn new skills quickly?" Ryan slowly explained.

Midnight remembered back to everything and nodded, "Well, I would have said that there were no other surprised other than him showing powers of a B rank awakened by defeating a C rank bot without a problem but I just realized that I made a mistake and didn't inform you on something that happened before Alex battled with the Bot. As soon as I started the bot, Alex seemed to instantly notice that. It was a scary sight to see something who isn't an S ranked awakened noticing a Bot being activated… That was another thing." Imani thought back to Alex's reaction.

"How did he react?" Ryan asked in a curious tone.

"He jumped back and took out his dagger nearly instantly," Imani answered.

"Okay, Good job so far. Keep me updated if anything happens. I'll be calling tomorrow morning so until then, take care of yourself and Alex." Ryan ended the call.

Imani nodded and put down her phone. She looked at the screen and saw Alex already hooked up with the chair. The doors opened to the room where she was. Imani smiled and turned to see the Old Man. He looked at Imani and shook his head, "You already made the simulation it seems so all you need to do is start. At least one of the two kids here have brains. That kid kept on laughing at my voice." The man said in a grumpy tone.

Imani chucked when she heard the man and spoke, "It's okay, don't worry too much about it. You can stay here and watch. The first round is easy but in the next one, you might see Alex suffer a bit. How about that?" She asked with a sly smile.

The man smiled when he heard Imani's words and nodded, "Now you're truly a smart one. I guess I wouldn't mind looking at that then." He seemed to be cheery after hearing that Alex could suffer.

Imani nodded and pressed a button on the screen and looked at the video of Alex.

Within the simulation room, Alex sat on the chair. He was given instructions to breathe slowly and relax his mind. As Alex relaxed, he smelled something.

[Toxins detected. Affects nullified.]

Alex jolted when he heard the voice, 'WHAT?!' Alex didn't believe what the System was saying at first but he soon realized that he was doubting something that had saved his life many times by now. 'System, What toxin was it?' Alex asked.

[Small dose of neurotoxins designed to make a person to lose consciousness]

Alex took a deep breath and sighed, 'Good, I thought it was another attack on me. Really thought that this system was a harborer of bad luck at that moment but it seems not. It seems like these toxins were so that I could lose consciousness so it would hook me up to the simulation… But what the hell do I do now that this system has nullified it? I guess one choice is just to try and fall asleep…' Alex thought as he tried to calm himself down.

Imani and the scientist watched as one of the screens went crazy. "Why has his brain activity increased by so much when we sent it a single dose of the Sleep Inducing Gas?" Imani looked surprised.

The scientist shook his head and sighed, "This one is a beast to stay awake after having that in his system. Let's just give him two doses. That's enough to take a huge elephant out… Hell, I've used that much to take out a peak A ranked awakened…" The scientist walked up to the screen and started to type something on the keyboard.

Ale started to smell more of the toxins but the same happened.

[Toxins detected. Affects nullified.]

The voice of the System rang in his mind. Alex sighed and just tried to go to sleep normally. While Alex tried to sleep, The two in the other room scratched their heads as they looked at the screen.
