Chapter 605 Looking for help

After receiving Sirius's assurance, the three Harrys were overjoyed and looked forward to starting school earlier.

On the other hand, Kyle did not return to St. Catchpol Village. Whether it's homework or anything else, almost everything is in his box and he always carries it with him.

Even if he didn’t take a few books, he could have the owl bring them back later, so he didn’t need to go home at all.

The reason why I had to leave No. 12 Grimmauld Place early was for another reason.

After the disembodiment ended, Kyle had already appeared in a lush forest.

On the pine tree on the left, a colorful evil bird was looking at him with its head tilted.

“Long time no see, Buddy.” Kyle greeted him familiarly, and the evil bird chirped in response.

At this moment, a house elf dressed in a nondescript manner suddenly appeared not far ahead.

He was wearing something made of rattan that looked like armor, and underneath was a pair of very long rubber boots.

After seeing Kyle's appearance, the original alertness on his face quickly turned into surprise.

“Oh, Mr. Kyle, is it really you?”

"It's me, Dobby," Kyle said. "How have you been."

“Thanks to Mr. Kyle.” The house elf said excitedly: “Dobby loves it here. It’s great to work here!”

"That's good." Kyle smiled, "Is Newt home?"

"Yes." Dobby nodded repeatedly, "Mr. Scamander is taking care of the newborn invisible beast... Oh, Dobby must go back quickly to help."

As he said that, he turned around and ran towards the depths of the forest.

Kyle also followed, and after turning a corner in front, a wooden house appeared in front of him out of thin air.

The door of the wooden house was open, and a gray-haired witch was standing there.

“I just heard Dobby calling your name.” Tina said with a smile, “Come in, I just baked some cookies.”

Dobby couldn't help but curl his lips.

Even now, Dobby still couldn't stand Tina's request to keep him out of the kitchen.

This is too much torment for a house elf... Fortunately, he has more things to do.

As soon as he entered the house, Dobby couldn't wait to run into the innermost room.

Not long after, Newt walked out.

 “Hogwarts starts tomorrow.”

At the same time, Tina happened to bring a plate of grapefruit cookies and put it in front of Kyle, "I thought you wouldn't come here this year."

“A lot happened this holiday season,” Kyle said.

He did not hide anything, and told everything about his encounter with Voldemort and his sudden interrogation by the Ministry of Magic.

The smile on Tina's face gradually disappeared and became more and more serious.

As an old Auror, she didn’t think there was anything wrong with Kyle’s approach. Facing the evil Death Eaters, she would definitely do everything possible to protect herself.

Forget about the Fire Curse, even the Death Curse is not a bad idea.

But the Death Eaters would go to the Ministry of Magic to complain, which was something Tina never expected, at least she had never encountered such a thing in her career.

“Fortunately, there is Diana.” She said somewhat thankfully.

"Yeah." Kyle nodded. If it weren't for the pre-flashback spell that didn't work, he wouldn't have passed this level so easily.

Newt next to him also breathed a sigh of relief. He knew that Kyle had encountered Voldemort, but he had no idea about the subsequent interrogation.

"You don't have to worry." Tina glanced at Kyle and said, "If you encounter a Death Eater again, you can still do this, whether it's a fire spell or something else, just use it, saving your life is the most important thing.

"As for whether you will be prosecuted by the Ministry of Magic in the future, don't worry. If they want to pursue it, I can send you to Ilvermorny. The British Ministry of Magic has no control over it."

"Hey, you should believe Dumbledore." Newt muttered quietly: "He will definitely not watch Kyle be convicted."

“That’s the best,” Tina said angrily.

She knew that Newt trusted Dumbledore unconditionally, but that didn't mean that Dumbledore could do anything.

Sometimes, you still need to make other preparations.

Newt naturally knew Tina’s thoughts, so he didn’t argue.

After eating the cookies, Newt was ready to go back to the box. The cub of the invisible beast still needed some time to adapt to the environment. Although Dobby helped, he was still a little worried.

Kyle also followed.

“I heard Dumbledore mention that the man was resurrected.”

After arriving in the box, Newt took a blanket off the shelf and said, "I said I could help, but Dumbledore refused. He only asked me to write to a few friends and invite them to come to England."

“Ah, it’s okay, we can handle it,” Kyle said.

He agreed with Dumbledore's decision. Newt was indeed a very powerful helper, but he was almost a hundred years old and there was no need to get involved in this matter again. The most important point is that there is too much uncertainty about Newt... It doesn't matter if it's Paris, but this is Britain after all, and it's our own territory. Unless it's absolutely necessary, it's better not to let him run around.

The two walked through the woods and a lake, and soon came to the invisible beast's lair.

Dobby was squatting there, teasing the newborn invisible beast with a wooden stick tied with a sepak takraw ball.

The fur on the little guy's body is close to a grayish brown color, and the invisibility effect is not very good. It flickers and looks like a little wizard who has just learned the transformation spell and is not yet proficient in using it.

Only when they grow older and turn silvery white can they hide themselves better, so now is the time when invisible beasts are most vulnerable.

Hearing the footsteps, Dobby immediately turned his head and greeted the two of them.

“Mr. Scamander, I feel that its invisibility effect is much better than before.”

"That's right." Newt said with a smile, "Invisible beast cubs learn very quickly, and they can barely be discovered by natural enemies two days after they are born. Of course, it will take another month to completely turn silver-white. "

“Mr. Scamander, Dobby will definitely be able to take good care of it.” Dobby patted his chest and said.

“I have no doubt about this.” Newt said with a smile, “But you’d better not stay here all the time, as this will make them lose their due vigilance and make the adult invisible beasts feel uneasy.

"You'd better hide in a more secluded place, like... there." Newt pointed to an area with lush shrubs.

Although he didn't quite understand, Dobby still nodded, ran over quickly, and hid himself in the bushes, leaving only one big ear exposed.

After that, the two went to other places.

Kyle finally came to visit, so Newt naturally did not miss this opportunity and took him to see many magical animals that behaved strangely or were having a bad temper.

Kyle also played a guest role as a magical animal psychologist again, helping to find out the reason.

It was not until evening that they came out of the Moon Chi Beast's cave.

A moon-crazy beast was ostracized by the tribe because its dancing movements were not standard.

How about saying that Newt’s box is amazing? You can even see the moon-crazy beast who can’t dance here. It’s really a lot of experience.

All afternoon, Newt taught each other how to dance, and it didn’t end until now.

“Do you want to go back for dinner?” Newt looked at the time and asked, “Or do you want to see other places?”

“I’m not hungry yet.” Kyle said with a smile.

Newt nodded, as if he understood something, "Tell me where you want to go.

"But I have to remind you that Dumbledore will not let some magical animals into the castle, such as the poisonous leopard."

Kyle’s mouth that he just opened closed again in an instant.

He did come to Newt for help this time. Diana was right. Sometimes, the fire curse was not the only option to deal with Death Eaters.

So he thought of another way...find help.

The poisonous leopard was one of his original goals, but before he even opened his mouth, Newt directly refused.

"Now is not a special period." Kyle whispered: "And I am confident that I can restrain it."

 “This…” Newt hesitated.

As Kyle said, Death Eaters have already taken action against him, and no one can guarantee whether there will be a second time.

And this time the Death Eaters used another trick... They complained to the Ministry of Magic. This time their trick was unsuccessful, but what if it happened again? Kyle couldn't really be allowed to hide in Ilvermorny.

“The Poison Leopard does not distinguish between friend and foe.” Newt said softly: “Once it attacks, everyone around it will be affected, and it may accidentally injure one of its own.”

“I’ll keep an eye out,” Kyle said.

Newt was silent, and after a long time he said, "Is there only the Venomous Leopard?"

“Oh, there’s another one.” Kyle leaned over and whispered something.

After hearing this, Newt immediately widened his eyes, shook his head and said:

"No, I can lend you the poisonous leopard, but this one is definitely not allowed. It's too dangerous. Dumbledore will definitely not allow you to take it to the castle..."

“That was before, but things are different now.”

Kyle said, “The castle itself is no longer safe, and it can even be said to be in an unprecedented crisis.

“Besides, it is a member of Hogwarts and has the responsibility to contribute to the protection of the school.”

"Even if you say so." Newt still shook his head, "Well, I will write a letter to Dumbledore. If he agrees, then it will be no problem."

"No need." Kyle whispered, "And that's mine."

He didn't want Dumbledore to know about this, otherwise, he would most likely not agree.

"This is necessary." Newt said, "And you were wrong about one thing. It can only be handed over to you after you graduate."

"Okay." Kyle looked around, then changed the subject and said, "How about we go see the Poison Leopard first. The little guy must have grown up."

“Although I am not an adult yet, I have definitely grown up a lot.”
