Chapter 18: News reaching the King!

Southern Summer Royal Palace.

The golden tiles were sparkling under the light of the sun, with two golden dragons on the sides that had golden scales, looking very realistic. They seemed like they were soaring into the sky. There were many guards densely placed around the palace, holding long spears and sharp blades, covering the luxurious palace with cold killing intent!

"Enough!" The Southern Summer King shouted. His voice filled with a kingly charm that made them shut up their mouths in an instant. "Burning Sun Ruler, I believe that that is not all of it, is it?"

"My king is wise! You're right, according to my family's senior elder, Yun Weizhi commands ten shadowy figures who quickly subdued all the family members of the Chu, Ye, and Luo family." The Burning Sun Ruler said.

The Southern Summer King nodded as he contemplated. Ten shadowy figures, capable of subduing the three of the four great families. The family heads of the four great families in Central State are all at the peak of the Awakened Soul Realm. For those ten shadowy figures to quickly subdue them, that only means that they are stronger than them by several levels.

They just hope that everything turns out well, as they are still struggling with the fight between the War Hound Kingdom. If those ten shadowy figures could help, then that would be a great contribution from Yun Weizhi.

"Big brother Zhi, does that mean that you can command a lot of powerful experts? And what do you mean by the advanced technologies you possess?" Yun Yao excitedly asked Yun Weizhi.

She didn't mind what Yun Weizhi was doing as long as she can stay by his side forever.

"How about I show you around to our headquarters?" Yun Weizhi asked.

"Really? Yehey, yehey, yehey!" Yun Yao was really happy as she jumps around, just like what a kid should act when they are happy.

"What about you grandpa? Do you also want to come?" Yun Weizhi turned to look at Yun Tianhe who seemed to have become younger by a few days.

"Okay, I'll leave now, you two don't forget dinner before you sleep. Come on and hug grandpa now." Yun Tianhe smiled. Though he had no idea why he seems to be really accepting of whatever Yun Weizhi does.

He can only think that he may trust his grandson a lot.

Yun Yao went to hug Yun Tianhe, she then separated after a few seconds as she covered her nose, "Eh? Grandpa, you smell a lot!"

Yun Tianhe immediately smelled himself to confirm it but found out that he doesn't even smell anything, he then looked at the mischievously smiling Yun Yao as he pinches her cheeks.

"You naughty little girl. Even you are already starting to trick your grandpa?" Yun Tianhe said with a pained expression.

But Yun Yao just smiled at this, "tehehe~ Grandpa you're acting is really bad, you have to try harder."

"Ow!" Yun Weizhi slightly smacked Yun Yao's head as he lightly scolded her. "Don't tease grandpa anymore, he's already getting old you have to be nice to him."

"Okay Big brother!" Yun Yao then hugged Yun Tianhe as well as Yun Weizhi. After that, Yun Tianhe left the room with a smile on his face.
