Chapter 2: Before the Party

The Yun family is one of the Central State Four Great Families which is focused on the academic area. The Yun family Patriarch Yun Tianhe was one of the two vice deans in the Central State Academy.

He was also the head of the ill.u.s.trious Yun Sect where most of the known scholars in the Central State City came from. There was no one who didn't know of these and this is also the reason why the Yun family, though not that really strong in terms of strength but in knowledge, they are on top in the Central State City.

It was also said that the grand scholar, Gu Qianqiu was a good friend of Yun Tianhe and in terms of the knowledge they are the same. The only reason why Yun Tianhe did not have the title of a grand scholar is because of the limitations of the number of people given with that title.

As the Southern Summer Country is just a small kingdom, there can only be one grand scholar, so Gu Qianqiu was chosen because he was on the side of the royal family. If not for these limitations, Yun Tianhe would not be known as the oldest scholar but rather, a grand scholar of the same influence as Gu Qianqiu.

At the small mansion of the Yun family, there were many decorations on the wall, hanging on the ceiling or place at the corners. The atmosphere was extremely festive that no one would think that it is only a birthday party.

The number of people invited was so many, that the cooks of the Yun family had to hire helpers just to reach the set goal of dishes ordered by Yun Tianhe. He was not stingy in celebrating his grandson and granddaughter's birthday and it can be seen how much he doted them.

Yun Tianhe was now currently in the room of the twins, looking at the two lovingly.

Yun Weizhi had his eyes closed as he lay on the bed while Yun Yao was wide awake as she stares at Yun Tianhe as if she was guarding Yun Weizhi. Yun Tianhe finds it funny that the little girl was already protective, not to mention she was already aware of her surroundings.

These little things make Yun Tianhe very happy as it is very rare for a 1-year-old to be aware of his/her surroundings. At this age, they will not be able to differentiate good from bad and will treat anyone the same.

But Yun Yao was now clearly treating Yun Tianhe as a threat while Yun Weizhi as something very precious. She looks like a mother hen trying to protect its chicks from a lurking snake.

"Aiya! Little girl, why are you looking at me like that? I'm your grandfather!" Yun Tianhe said with helplessness.

Yun Yao just pouted as she continued to look at Yun Tianhe. She may not have any idea what is going on but one thing is for sure, her brother is hers and hers alone. She will not allow anyone to get near him.

If Yun Weizhi knew what Yun Yao was thinking, he will probably guess that she is near the 'Yandere Path' which is very dangerous. He just has to wish that he will find out about it sooner or else, things will not go easy on him.

Yun Tianhe looked at Yun Yao, she looks very cute when she stares back at him and he didn't even know what wrong he had done for him to deserve this kind of treatment. Aren't grandkids supposed to be very lovable and cuddly? Why is she treating me like I'm a stranger?

Yun Weizhi, who had his eyes closed earlier finally opened them. He was finally ready to start his great plan for his future, though there is no need to hurry up and do it earlier before it's too late for him.

He knows that many things will be different from the original story just because of his arrival. The first thing that is different is that there is no Yun Xiao in this world as he was replaced by him.

Second, Yun Sect will not be the same as in the original story because he will be changing it slowly but surely.

There are a whole lot of changes that are still not visible but he will encounter this changes in the future, there's no doubt about it.

As for Chu Tian, the previous MC of the story, he will not touch him since he can also be helpful for attracting the attention of everyone in the country as he will slowly work his way in the shadows.

Using the 'Seed of Creation', he will create different races in his Innate Divine World that are loyal to him a hundred percent. He will not overdo it though, he will only create about a hundred thousand of each race than make a place for them to stay at.

His Innate Divine World will be really large but even though it is really large, it will still not be enough for what he needs it to be, so, he will create boundaries where he will then modify the space and make it larger than it looks.

The door to the room suddenly opened, a maid in a tight outfit and a beautiful appearance entered the room. She bowed to Yun Tianhe before respectfully saying, "Patriarch, the family heads of Chu family, Luo family, and Ye family had arrived.

The Chu family's Head, Chu Shanhe was a strong expert with deep cultivation. He controls the Chu family who possesses the strongest military might in the whole Central State City.

The Luo family's Head, Luo Liancheng is also a strong and knowledgeable expert. Though he is not as strong as Chu Shanhe or as knowledgeable as Yun Tianhe, him being the head of one of the great families proves his power.

The Ye family's Head, Ye Wudao is as wild as a wolf. They possess the largest mercenary group which is the Wolf Mercenary. The nature of the wolves runs deeply in their bones and just like the wolves, they fear no one and fights together.

Every family head of the four great families is extraordinary of their own, famous and respected. That is why they were able to become one of the four great families in Central State City.

Yun Tianhe, although he is the weakest of them all, he was the most knowledgeable among them so he was also deeply respected. Learning different fields of knowledge is not easy and he knew this means he has great talents.

"Come one you two, let's all welcome our guest." Yun Tianhe said. He then picked up the two and carried them out of the room. Yun Yao was happy while Yun Weizhi was just calmly looking around.

They paved the path towards the banquet hall where the party will be held, along the way several servants greeted them as they walked past them.

Yun Yao and Yun Weizhi were both too cute for their own good that there is even a possibility of them getting kidnapped if they didn't belong to the Yun family. When they arrived at the banquet hall, it was already filled with people.

Yun Tianhe surveyed around and saw the three family heads heading his way, also carrying their own son. Yun Tianhe smiled as he never had the intention to brag his grandkids but it seems like the others didn't think like this.

He could only sigh and hope that nothing wrong will happen.
