I Am A Villain

Right now , myself in armored form, Merlin, and Arthur Pendragon who was in full gear were standing on the throne room of Camelot, discussing about my 'employment'.

'So… this is the famous Arthur Pendragon, the holder of Excalibur. If it wasn't for him having that sword, I could snap him in two just like a twig.'

Merlin: "Arthur, this is the person I've been talking about yesterday. You can call him Zero. I made a deal with him and so he will be your guard for the foreseeable future."

Arthur: "I don't need a guard, I can take care of myself."

Merlin: "I went through so much trouble to get you this guy and now you're telling me you don't want him? Your plans will go so much faster with him by your side though and your objective will be much closer."

'This little cunning old man, he is pressing all the right buttons. Arthur certainly looks interested now.'

Arthur: "Is he really that powerful?"

Merlin: "If I'm not careful I would quite probably be defeated by him."

Arthur: "So what, you are old and everybody knows it."

'Uhhh… that must burn like hell.'

Merlin: "Respect your elders you little brat."

'Didn't deny being old… can he even deny it at this point?'

It was turned from a discussion to an argument. They must be close, I see why the old man wanted to cut that deal with me.

Zero: "Are we done already?"

Merlin: "Ahem, anyway Zero will be your guard and that's that."

Arthur: "Hmph…"

Arthur just turned around and left in a fit of childish anger.

Merlin: "Forgive him, he's just not accustomed to expressing his feelings."

Zero: "I'm his guard not his mother, I don't need his feelings."

Merlin: "You won't find a wife if you keep talking this way."

Zero: "And I guarantee you will find a grave if you keep talking this way."

Merlin: "You're no fun. All you youngsters bullying an old man. Hmph, see if I care."

Walking down the hallway everyone was carefully and respectfully opening the way for me to pass, they must have heard, either that old man or Arthur already told them about me. I was very intimidating on my armored form, being 2 meter tall and clearly bigger than anyone else around me.

'First things first I'll need a weapon, after all if I go around the battlefield killing enemies using my hands the tale of King Arthur will quite probably go down the drain.'

After 10 more minutes of walking I finally saw Arthur again.

Zero: "Arthur."

Arthur: "Call me Your Highness. What kind of guard are you?"

Zero: "Get me a sword."

Arthur: "Why don't you go and get it yourself?"

Zero: "I'll tell everyone your little secret."

… he stopped a little at that.

'Got you.'

Arthur: "What do you mean?"

'Don't know, I'm just bluffing.'

Zero: "Merlin told me so you would behave. So 'Your Highness', I need a sword to continue my services."

Arthur: "Ggrrrr… that stupid old man. Fine I'll get you a damn sword, are you happy now?"

Zero: "Never happier to serve you my king."

As Arthur left angrily I gloated for a moment, feeling a strange happiness from teasing him. I shouldn't tease him anymore… maybe just 1 more time.

I guess this was inevitable, a few of the knights didn't take kindly to me becoming the personal guard of King Arthur.

Mob1: "Sir Zero, I challenge you to a duel. I don't believe you have the right to protect our King!!!"

'Compared to those cultivation mobs… this guy is polite as hell. And straight to the point too.'

Zero: "I accept your challenge."

As I said that I pulled out my new sword. It was heavy… as in very heavy. Even if I could not cut through something I could probably crush it. Nevertheless as he showed some respect towards me I didn't kill him. I merely broke a few bones, throwing him to the wall with 1 swing.

Mob2: "Oi… are you serious?!"

Mob3: "So, that's the power of King's Arthur personal guard."

Mob4: "What strength."

Well… it didn't take much to set my reputation in stone here. Now I was seen with respect by the knight

Medieval life was surprisingly dull. While it had some good moments of sparring, there wasn't any who could match me in strength. I tried testing my strength by lifting boulders but that wasn't so difficult either. While at first I could feel the suppression from especially big boulders my body adapted quickly and my strength increased even further.

'I really needed a gravity chamber, best it be an advanced one but I had no delusion that I could find any here. To build one with magic would be possible but the level of gravitational magic needed would be high. Reaching it using human methods and finding a devil who could use it at an advanced stage would probably be just as hard, let alone defeating him.'

I was entering Arthur's room as to ask him about how to contact Merlin. I needed the bodies as soon as possible after all. The sooner I started preparing the more favorable directions things would take. There was not a 'too early' period to start in a world where gods and demons can descend as they wish at any moment. Who knows if one of them just gets bored and decides to come and kill me. Since the moment I came to this world the future became blurry. I also need to remember what the Alien said. Some gods don't take kindly to me consuming the souls of others. Humans might be fine as many magicians use it but souls of higher beings? I won't take a chance with that while I am still weak.

Anyway it was only my second day as Personal Guard of King Arthur. I had plenty of time and more than a millennium to prepare. But something happened today… something that I never thought would happen to me.

Zero: "Arthur, I need you to contact Merlin and tell him to meet…"

As I turned my head my eyes opened wide as were the persons' who was looking at me.

Arthur: "…"

Zero: "…"

The n.a.k.e.d form of Arthur Pendragon was looking at me… or should I say Artoria.

I looked at her once, than twice … and then a few more times.

Zero: "This is the part when you tell me to get out by the way."

She suddenly blushed as her entire face turned red.

Artoria: "You, you, you…you…"

Zero: "I see you are really in touch with your feminine side but you should probably not show it so openly my King"

Artoria: "Get out, get out right now, what do you think you are doing barging into a girl's room like this"

Zero: "But I came to meet Arthur Pendragon."

Artoria: "You liar, pervert you already knew I was a girl when you asked for the sword"

Zero: "Ah… for that I lied. Just make sure to contact Merlin for me."

As I finished talking I made my way out of the room leaving behind a fl.u.s.tered, ranting Artoria Pendragon.

[A.N: No there will not be pairing for quite a while in the story, definitely no harem, this is just for something I have set up in the plot near the foreseeable future, to give a little bit more 'color' to the story]
