I am immortal

Chapter 10 Practice

Qi Wuhuo sat next to the stone table, and the old man let him drink a cup of tea.

When the tea fragrance enters the mouth, it feels like it is divided into two parts, one is reassuring and calming, and the other is entering the center of the eyebrows, which makes the originally dispersed and splitting headache gradually relax and no longer as painful as before.

The old man waited until his condition recovered and whispered:

"Tao generates Qi from nothingness, and from Qi it produces Yin and Yang."

"Yin and Yang are combined again into the Three Treasures, and the Three Treasures are reborn and all things prosper."

"Keep in mind that this is the general outline of my lineage..."

Qi Wuhuo asked: "General outline?"

The old man stroked his beard and said: "To take charge of all laws and unify them all, this is the general outline."

"Although this is not a method of cultivation, it points directly to the great road."

"You need to keep this in mind, lest you make a mistake soon and you cannot make up for it in this life, so I will inform you in advance."

"As for what I'm teaching you..."

The old man stroked his beard and pointed at Qi Wuhuo:

"The great road in the world is that two are born, two beget three, and three beget all things."

"The qi of heaven and earth are divided into yin and yang. Yin and yang are in the body, with the heart as the nature and the kidneys as the life; the separation of the heart is yang, and the kidneys are yin. Yin and yang produce three qi, namely the three treasures of essence, qi, and spirit."

"Practitioners need to understand this destiny and then practice it in reverse."

"Return three into two, transform two into one, and return one to the Tao."

"My Taoist sect's starting skill is [life skill]. The three elements of essence, energy and spirit are brought to life to the limit, and then combined into yin and yang, which is the Yuan Qi Yang god. Only when the Yuan Qi Yang god is combined into one can it be said that it has entered the world. The great road leads from existence to non-existence.”

"Your mind has been well nourished. Next, you can nourish your essence and then turn it into Qi."

Qi Wuhuo asked: "Qi, does it mean the breath of Qi?"

The old man smiled and shook his head: "Breathing? Wrong."

"The third grade of medicine, the spirit and the essence of Qi, are in a trance, and the body is still there."

"This sperm is not a sympathetic sperm."

“The breath is not the breath.”

“God is not a thinking God.”

"That's an acquired skill."

"In my Taoist sect, qi is acquired, and qi is innate. The two words are pronounced the same, but their meanings are completely different in Tao Zang."

"Cultivation becomes Qi, and regulating breath becomes Qi."

"Refining essence and transforming Qi is the way of a warrior, while refining essence and transforming Qi is the key to Taoism."

"Qi is the mother of elixirs, and the elixir means harmony, one is born with two, two is born with three, and finally returns to the realm of nothingness."

The old man said that he only taught one trick, but because in the practice method and Taoism, a poem may be a inheritance, and each word has its own meaning, so he actually explained the basics in detail.

"The first stage of Taoist practice is [three talents], also known as [planting three flowers]."

"Whether you are cultivating Taoism or becoming an immortal, the first step cannot be avoided. People have essence, energy, and spirit, and they need to cultivate to the extreme of their own body, to achieve full essence, full mind, and full energy."

The old man pointed at Qi Wuhuo's upper, middle and lower dantian and said:

"It is called complete because in life, one has experienced all kinds of things, including illness, staying up late and sitting for long periods of time, injuries, and one's energy and spirit will inevitably be damaged, and it is not in a state of perfection."

"This step needs to be taken care of slowly."

“It takes time.”

"When you reach the perfection of your essence, energy and spirit, you will be able to combine them into the Innate Qi. Even if you fail to combine them into the Innate Qi, you can still live to the limit of human lifespan."

Qi Wuhuo asked: "Lifespan limit?"

"Yes, because each person's body is different, about one hundred and twenty to one hundred and thirty years old, and then you can live a life of worry-free, disease-free and pain-free. You can die in a dream, and your hair will still be black and your teeth will be intact when you die. , the skin does not wrinkle, which is why it is called [full].”

"You can live a full life."

Qi Wuhuo thought deeply and said, "Then if you can't reach the realm of full essence, full energy, and full spirit, is it okay to gather them together?"

The old man smiled and said: "It is difficult to practice the Great Dao for a long time, and naturally there will be people who want to take advantage of the loopholes. Most of them have practiced one of the spirits to an extremely high level, and then relied on the other two. You can cross the realm of the Three Talents in a short period of time and develop magical powers."

"It's fast, but it won't last long."

"Maybe you can be proud of yourself in a short period of time and call yourself a real person, but the further you go in practice, the disadvantages of this trickery method will become more and more prominent. Maybe you won't be able to overcome it in thirty or fifty years."

"That's why it's called the side door, the left path."

"Although there are many kinds of magical powers, the lifespan may not be much better than that of serious practitioners at the Sancaiquan stage, and it may even be lower. Many practitioners leave this place because they can't stand the loneliness and the temptation of appearing holy in front of others. A path that ends in regret."

"Wu Huo, you have to remember..."

The old man pointed to the trees next to him:

"Our purpose is practice and realm, just like this tree, it must take root more and more below and extend upward; and many magical powers and methods are just the fruits produced during practice."

"To pursue magical powers blindly is like a tree using all its nutrients to grow fruit. If so, how can it grow into a giant skyscraper tree?"

"You monks, you should remember this, be careful, and be careful!"

The old man stroked his beard and said: "Okay, now sit here cross-legged, and I will teach you a formula for breathing and nourishing Qi. First, you must nourish the acquired Qi, and then you can gather it into the innate Qi in the future, and then you can reach the peak." The realm of gathering three flowers.”

Qi Wuzhuo sat cross-legged as the old man said, with his five hearts facing the sky.

Then the old man pointed his finger at his Dantian, and the flesh and blood in Qi Wuhuo's body circulated, naturally giving birth to a trace of breath, which then existed in the body along with the Qi and blood of his body. The old man said: "Consume the spirit and visualize it."

"Remember, the words "jing, qi and shen" are different from what ordinary people think."

"The meaning in the Taoist classics is that pure and unmixed is essence, the blended blood is Qi, and the ethereal activity is God."

"It's for the essence, vitality, and soul."

"Yuanzhe, one yuan is the beginning, which means everything is innate."

"The core of everything is the soul."

"Use the spirit to control the energy, use the spirit to refine the essence, and remember the method of its circulation."

The old man's teaching of skills is not based on words.

Instead, he directly led Qi Wuhuo to understand what the great circulation is. Then, Qi Wuhuo's body will naturally know how to maintain his mind, how to visualize, and how to regulate his breath.

Qi Wuhuo's mind followed the old man's guidance.

The old man said: "When a warrior practices, he swallows meat, strengthens his body, and strengthens his Qi and blood, he naturally realizes the flow of breath, and flows to the extreme. With his strong body, he feeds back a huge soul and stimulates his mind. But my lineage of cultivation is completely different. "

"With a weak heart, the mind is concentrated, with the spirit concentrated, the energy is gathered, and with the energy gathered, the spirit is born."

"To use one to give birth to ten thousand, to take ten thousand and bring them back to one, they are all my [gods]."

Qi Wuhuo fell into a state of trance.

However, his mind was strong at the moment, and the movement of his breath was very smooth. Before he knew it, the golden crow fell to the west, the jade rabbit rose to the east, and the world was filled with drowsiness. It was already night.

When the snow melts in winter, it is far colder than when it snows.

On winter nights, even the watchmen had to wear thick clothes and drink strong wine to ward off the cold. Qi Wuzhuo just wore a slightly thicker cloth and sat outside.

It was cold and windy outside, but there was a surge of heat inside my body.

Water and fire are intertwined inside and outside, but God is above it, overlooking all this happening, the breath is long and peaceful, and gradually returns to calm, becoming one with the mountains, rivers, water flows, and trees.

Man is a part of heaven and earth.

The sun has not yet risen, but there are already the sounds of birds in the sky.

A bird landed in the yard and pecked at the grass. It jumped on the young man's shoulder, then turned around and combed its feathers with its beak. The young man's black hair was slightly hanging down, stained with morning dew, and his eyes naturally opened and looked. When the great sun rises from the sky, purple energy rises.

The young man was sitting under the plum tree, bathing in the sunshine, with a quiet temperament.

Birds preen their feathers on their shoulders.

Everything in heaven and earth is quiet.

The old man stroked his beard and asked with a smile: "Is it possible?"
