I am immortal

Chapter 56 Return to Xuanmen Thirteen Hate

Qi Wuhuo said: "This is..."

The old man said: "Your senior brother."

He walked forward, and Qi Wuhuo followed behind him. When he got closer, he saw the size of the tomb, and it was obvious that it was just a tomb.

Desolate and lonely, the romantic days were blown away by the rain and wind.

A huge shock made the young man's expression become solemn.

Many previous complicated thoughts were chopped up by life and death, and the last question evolved.

The heart of the Tao is the purest. Those who pursue the Tao with all their heart will perish in the middle, while others who are addicted to self-obsession can live for thousands of years.

Why is this so?

The old man leaned over and peeled off the green moss that had climbed up from the tomb. He pushed aside the covering branches to reveal the words on it. Qi Wuhuo looked at it subconsciously. The words were gentle and gentle, as if written casually, as if The person who wrote these words was still at peace in the end, free of obsessions and disturbances.

Qi Wuhuo subconsciously recited: "In this life of practice, I have met famous teachers, made good friends, great friends, loved ones, loved Taoists, indulged in everything between heaven and earth, everything went well, except for the Thirteen Hatreds, which lasted until death, recorded Here it is.”

"The first thing I hate is that book bags are easy to be damaged."

He paused and subconsciously thought of his senior brother Yuyang, a practitioner who was born a scholar.

The latter was obsessed with the ambition of writing books, and then was obsessed with the great wish of passing on his fame to future generations, and finally couldn't extricate himself.

"Easily moth-prone..."

"The second hate is that love is deep and love is shallow, and the beauty is unlucky."

Qi Wuhuo thought of Senior Sister Yumiao again, and her determination to promise that she would always be good for the rest of her life.

The Taishang lineage is not ruthless, but it is not obsessive and obsessive.

Xuanzhen has also been like this, but he has not been obsessed with it.

Qi Wuhuo calmed down and continued reading: "The third hate is that there are mosquitoes on summer nights, the fourth hate is that the platform is easy to leak, the fifth hate is that the chrysanthemum leaves are scorched, the sixth hate is that the pine trees are full of ants, the seventh hate is that the bamboo leaves fall, the eighth hate is that Osmanthus and lotus are easy to shed, nine hates the pennyroyal hiding the anemone, ten hates the peanut thorn..."

Xuanzhen seemed to have the same things that the previous senior brothers were obsessed with.

And there seems to be more.

It seems that in the colorful world, countless people all like it and regret it. The so-called hate is just because I like it too much, so I regret it. With just these words, Qi Wuhuo seems to be able to see that senior brother Xuanzhen.

Seeing him laughing and cursing, I hate the mosquitoes flying around in the summer. I like bamboo, but hate the trouble of cleaning fallen leaves. I love raising pine trees, but because the pine trees attract ants, the ants eat up the house and make my teeth itchy.

Looking at his words is like seeing his person.

It seemed that in front of the stone tablet, there was not a tree branch, but the handsome and free-spirited Taoist Xuanzhen, looking at him with a smile and calling him junior brother.

The old man stood in front of Qi Wuhuo and said, "This is your senior brother, Xuanzhen."

Qi Wuhuo said: "Senior brother, he..."

The old man touched the stone tablet with his palm and replied: "The road has fallen."

"Pursuing the Tao is not about taking a leisurely stroll in the garden, or watching flowers and admiring the moon. It is about taking back my life from between heaven and earth. One step at a time, the road is difficult to follow."

"This is a step-by-step test."

"When practicing the right way of Xuanmen, there are three disasters, seven tribulations and eight difficulties."

"The three disasters are weapons, inner demons, and heaven and earth."

"You seek the path, but if you have a sharp weapon and murderous intent, you fight with others."

"Or when the road is rough, the Taoist heart is harmonious, he draws his sword and fights with others, but his skills are not as good as others, or he is plotted by others, his body dies, his soul is expelled, and he is no longer the same as before. This is a weapon."

"If the road is uneven, I will retreat away from it; or I will do anything that goes against my heart, causing distracting thoughts to arise."

“If we want to achieve a little spiritual light that can illuminate the universe without being able to see through it, how can we shine it to the universe?”

"Like the winter snow gradually melting away, it does not increase with each passing day, but it accumulates day by day, eventually affecting the spiritual thoughts, the soul is mixed, the cultivation level does not progress, and eventually falls."

"This is the inner demon."

"The calamities of heaven and earth are caused by thunder, wind, and fire. They are caused naturally because you retrieve your life treasure by yourself, step out of your innate energy, and gather three flowers at the top of your head."

"Originally, all living things in the world are like a drop of water in a river, naturally harmonious, and they all belong to the great road of two, two, three, and three, all living things. Practitioners reverse three and become two, turning into Yuan Qi and Yuan Shen; reverse two into two. One, it is for the three flowers to gather at the top. This is equivalent to fighting against the current, and will naturally be washed away by the current."

"So practitioners must [clear their minds and see their nature]."

"Only when one's Taoist mind cannot be disturbed by external objects can one be aware of these disasters."

"Make avoidance in advance."

"Thunder strikes the soul, while fire burns the body. As for the wind disaster, it will pour in from the acupoints all over your body, destroying your Taoism and turning it into fly ash. Of course, there is no malice in this. Judging from the natural movement of heaven and earth , it just allows you to return to the path of three lives and all things."

"If you avoid it, you will live a long life. If you can't avoid it, if you can't avoid it, you will die on the spot."

"The soul is scattered and returned to the great world."

"Buddhists are saddened by fire and burned into relics, which is called Nirvana; Taoists are trapped in wind tribulations and turn into dust and leave the world, which is called sitting and transformation."

"As for those who don't follow the right path, who have dark souls and complicated thoughts, they won't be able to survive even the thunder tribulation."

"Both branches of Buddhism and Taoism are mostly upright and pure. Naturally, there are some extremely evil people who are self-centered. Their thoughts are also extremely pure. Thunder tribulations cannot destroy their Taoism."

Qi Wuhuo said to himself: "My soul is flying to pieces..."

The old man nodded and said gently: "As for the eight most common difficulties, there is no need to go into details."

"After all, you've already seen it."

Qi Wuhuo said, "Have I seen it before?"

His voice paused slightly, and he seemed to have some understanding, and said: "It's Senior Brother and the others..."

The old man answered in a gentle voice, but it seemed to be due to the many things he had seen and thought before, and it sounded a little regretful in the young man's ears: "These eight difficulties often become more and more difficult to let go with the strength of the cultivator."

"There is a mixture of things, first in the world, I don't know how to describe it, call it Tao."

"Tao gives birth to one, gives birth to two, two gives birth to three, three gives birth to all things, and evolves all things and all dharmas. It is the mother of the world."

"Cultivation is about clarifying one's nature, returning to the fundamentals, walking step by step to the one, and finally finding the road that embraces everything."

"Everything you see now, the world, the earth, and the common people are all part of the three living things. They are all correct, but they are not what we are pursuing. Some ascetics only sink into one end of the three living things, and even become the whole thing. It’s part of the evolution of one of the common people.”

"It's like entering a narrow path and refusing to extricate yourself."

"It is said that one has a method in the Tao, one skill in the method, meditates and refines one's Qi, and one can practice it firmly, and then one can claim to have attained the Tao."

"When you fall into such a situation, there is no right or wrong in life, and everyone has their own pursuits; but if you look at it from the perspective of pursuing the original and most superior road, this is a big [difficulty]."

"Even the Taoist heart is covered in dust and sinks into eight difficulties."

"What about the three disasters and seven calamities?"

"They... are not even qualified to go through the three disasters and seven tribulations."

The old man sighed, looked at Xuanzhen's jade slips again, and said, "And Xuanzhen, just like you Wuhuo at this moment, has a pure Taoist heart."

"But it is precisely because of this that I will leave no escape route for myself. I will have no worries or fears and only seek the avenue."

"Finally practice, desire the most superior method, do not avoid or retreat, break through the tribulations head-on, encounter the tribulations of swordsmen, thunder and fire, and the tribulations of inner demons."

"I have overcome forty-nine catastrophes in a row, but in the end I am unable to do it, so I don't choose to leave my soul and follow the path of the Yin God."

"Have no distracting thoughts, leave no room for others or yourself, and fight with all your strength."

"Dead before it was accomplished."

"Three days before the army was released, he prayed for the Tao, practiced the Tao, realized the Tao, laughed loudly, and then died and disappeared into thin air."

The old man brushed his sleeves and removed all the last hidden words on the stone tablet. The remaining words were revealed. They were no longer so gentle, but suddenly became sharp.

When reading these last three sentences, Qi Wuhuo suddenly fell silent——

"Eleven hatreds are to prove the great truth, but my heart is not strong."

"The Twelve Hatreds are the only way to prove the Dao, but my god is not pure."

"Thirteen hates, I haven't realized the great way, but my body has perished."

Xuanmen Thirteen Hatreds.

There were several words of hate in a row, but there was no malice at all. Only the extremely strong thoughts of regret, placed in the boundless and solidified Taoist heart, soared into the sky, startling the jackdaws in the old tree.

The old man said it calmly, but Qi Wuzhuo seemed to be able to see that scene and imagine the heroism and determination of this scene.

One's heart is naturally firm and one's spiritual consciousness is pure. Hatred and regret are just not enough.

It seemed that the wind was blowing, the clouds in the sky were gathering and dispersing, and the wind pressure was very low. After a while, it started to rain. The rain was pouring. After a while, it became a scene of smoke and cold mountains, like a splash-ink painting. , the temperature here is warmer than where Qi Wuhuo originally lived, but since it is winter, it is naturally cold rain.

The old man opened a bamboo umbrella in his hand to protect the young man from the rain. He took out a jug of wine from his sleeve and placed it in front of the tomb.

The branches in front of the tomb swayed slightly, but the jade slips were still the same as before.

This is the only disciple whose Taoist title has not been taken back.

Qi Wuhuo could feel the old man's sadness.

Qi Wuhuo still said: "With the teacher's ability, can't I bring my senior brother back?"

The old man smiled gently and said, "Get it back?"

He held an umbrella and motioned Qi Wuzhu to follow him. After thinking for a while, he asked: "Wuzhuo once had a dream. Let me ask you this, if you, as an official, were cheated by someone for personal gain, what would you do? What to do?"

Qi Wuhuo said: "It should be governed according to the law."

The old man said: "Then, what if you see someone taking bribes and bending the law for personal reasons?"

Qi Wuhuo said: "I will imprison him."

The old man asked: "What happens when you see someone killing people on the road for personal reasons?"

Qi Wuhuo said: "Behead him."

The old man said gently: "So you understand."

"Life and death are the fairest things in the world. I will not break this fairness for anyone."

"A teacher is just someone who leads you through the door, points out where the road ahead is, and gives you expectations."

"I changed your clothes, gave you a name, and with expectations in mind, I taught you the Tao. This is just fate between you and me. I am the [little master]."

"Instead of protecting the one who dominates you."

The old man said:

"If any of my disciples fall into the world of mortals, fall in love, reincarnate, live or die, I will not save you."

"Just waiting for you to realize it."

"In this regard, you are actually no different from anyone else."

The old man walked to the mountain and stopped. He stood in the rain curtain. The rain was so heavy and the world was dark. His sleeves and robes were hanging down. He held an umbrella to the young man and said gently:

"After all, you are my disciples."

"But all cultivators in the world are my disciples."
