“I missed dinner earlier, so I’ll have to run by the convenience store later.”

“Convenience store…?” Yoo Ji-an’s expression was incredulous. He pressed the button for the fifth floor, then one that said ‘(S) 88’.

It was for the top floor of the building.

Seo-ah looked at him in bewilderment, but he remained silent.

The elevator quickly brought them to the penthouse where Yoo Ji-an lived, given to him by the guild he himself made famous.

She stepped off, briefly mesmerized by the evening view of sprawling downtown Seoul

“You’ve arrived, Mr. Yoo Ji-an.” A formally dressed butler bowed politely.

“Please quickly prepare some food.”

Seo-ah glanced around.

‘So this is his house… Did he bring me here to feed me?’

“Yes, sir. How many servings shall I prepare?”

“There’s no problem with your stomach, is there?” Yoo Ji-an asked Seo-ah, who was trailing behind him like a chick.

She nodded. “I eat everything well.”

With such beautiful surroundings, even a meal of rice and water would be delicious.

“Two, please.” He smiled, as if satisfied.

Seo-ah averted her eyes a little.

‘As expected, he looks even better when he smiles.’

It was a fact that she was well aware of, but the full force of his good looks washed over her in that moment.

Yoo Ji-an brusquely pointed to the living room. “Stay there. I have somewhere else to go.”

“Where are you going?”

He was going to leave her there alone? Well, not entirely alone, since she had the butler with her.

However, the man wasn’t a kind enough person to answer her patiently, and quickly disappeared with a speed that only S-class hunters had.

Seo-ah busied herself with looking around to dispel her awkwardness, slowly approaching the glass window.

“Wow.”

Enchanted by the city lights, she stood staring at the view for a long time.

The guild leader of the top guild in Korea was working overtime today.

It had been five years since the establishment of the Sun Guild. The number of members alone had now exceeded one hundred, and the total number of employees had reached two hundred. While they could hire more employees to keep up with the growing number of members, Han Seok-hyun had to deal with important matters himself.

Still, Yoo Ji-an’s memories of his past lives made it easier to know the locations and dates of gate appearances.

‘He’s a great help.’

Apparently, Yoo Ji-an joined the Sun Guild in his first life, but not in his second and third.

Han Seok-hyun didn’t know why he chose to return to the Sun Guild this time around, but he did know that he could have left at any time anyway.

‘I have to coax him as well as I can to keep him.’

From a guild leader’s standpoint, Yoo Ji-an’s continued membership was very important.

He pressed a button on the coffee maker.

Slam!

“Oh, Yoo Ji-an, you’re here early. So, have any events recently been similar to your past lives?”

Ignoring the question easily, the S-class hunter plopped down on the sofa carelessly. Han Seok-hyun sat across from him, holding his mug of coffee.

Upon careful inspection, Yoo Ji-an’s expression seemed unusual.

“What’s the matter?”

“Han Seok-hyun, I’m disappointed.”

Inwardly, he wondered what his problem was again, but he knew better than to say anything.

“What’s wrong? I’ll handle it if you tell me.”

“If it continues like this, I’ll have no reason to stay in this guild.”

Han Seok-hyun’s heart felt like it had just been broken up with. More than seventy percent of the Sun Guild’s reputation was carried by the presence of Yoo Ji-an. Without him, their ranking would surely fall, and even a no-name guild could quickly rise to the top by recruiting him.

Even now, there were still quite a few guilds who were trying to contact the hunter behind the scenes.

And the big problem was that Yoo Ji-an never said anything he didn’t mean.

“Well, what are you talking about? Ji-an, it’s just the two of us here.”

“Park Seo-ah.”

“Ms. Park? Wasn’t she just training?” Han Seok-hyun panicked.

After leaving her in Kim Cheol-doo’s care, he became too busy doing other things and was unable to return for an update.

On the other hand, though, he trusted the trainer.
