<Queen of Roses and Thorns> was a very unpopular webnovel. First and foremost, it was because the very detailed setting was overly complicated, and the relationship between the characters were heavily entangled. Politics, history, and even about war was difficult to deal with, adding the more epic story about the Queen’s growth phase rather than the romance.

Haon lived with her smartphone all day long while living as a hikikomori due to a series of incidents. She cut off her social media and saw everything on the internet that there was nothing for her to watch. Amidst that, she accidentally discovered the webnovel <Queens of Roses and Thorns>.

She felt bad to put on airs with its lengthy volume, so she ended up reading until the end. It was almost as if it was only Haon who finished reading when she completed it. She even thought that the author was amazing that she wrote it until the end even without readers.

‘It was fun and promising in its own way, so why was it so unpopular?’

Was it her affection as a reader who completed reading it?

Haon developed an attachment with <Queen of Roses and Thorns> and repeated reading it over and over again. She was able to memorize its contents as a result, and she even knew its trivial settings and the names of the extras. But in general, it was also due to her memorization skills.

She even knew Anten, Princess Pyreone Vir Afre Zekruan, who was later called ‘Queen of Roses and Thorns’ and was only called ‘Princess’ now, and Lavre who was Anten’s assistant lady-in-waiting.  She transmigrated to a very detailed novel that even named the main character’s direct lady-in-waiting’s assistant, and she possessed the body of a supporting extra assistant lady-in-waiting that wasn’t even mentioned.

The role that Haon possessed was precisely the assistant lady-in-waiting under Lavre [1] – if that was her only advantage of transmigrating.

“My name is Haon.”

Was it to the extent that Haon can use her real name as she had no set value given and wasn’t given a name? Haon knew that she transmigrated into her  favorite novel and she couldn’t be any happier than that, but the most frustrating moment for her was when she found out her identity as an assistant lady-in-waiting.

“If it’s being fortunate, then was it the fact that I have been working my butt off in the Princess’ detached palace? Maybe one day I can even see the Princess from afar.” Haon muttered as she was mopping the marble floor to polish it today.

Haon’s favorite character in <Queen of Roses and Thorns> was of course the male lead, but even if he had the main character position, she loved the Queen of Roses and Thorns’ Princess Pyreone. In fact, the Princess wasn’t from the Heiosen Empire where she was living at present.

<Queen of Roses and Thorns> can be briefly explained as follows.

The First Princess of Zekruan Empire, Princess Pyreone, came to Heiosen Empire as a pawn due to the power struggles between Empires. She overcame many difficulties in the end, achieved love with the Second Prince, and eventually becomes the King of Heiosen Empire.

‘It was that kind of novel.’

Haon recalled the contents of <Queen of Roses and Thorns> while mopping.

‘Her romance with the Second Prince was really good, but why did suddenly die during the war against the Maureen Empire? All the readers left from there. D**n it, isn’t the author just crazy? Why did you kill the male lead, even if it was the female lead who was narrating?’

But her anger still didn’t subside thinking about the time the Second Prince died. Haon rubbed the floor with the mop angrily. The marble floor was so polished that it was shining.

“But aren’t I here?”

Haon suddenly stopped mopping. She was quite experienced after reading webnovels for a year. There were also a lot of transmigrating novels among the webnovels she had read. In those novels, the main character that transmigrated completely changed the content of the original novel.

“I know everything that lies ahead, so I can help the Princess!”

That’s right! Haon’s existence was a spoiler. It had been a long time since she had felt the will to live. She clenched her fists and jumped up from her seat.

“I have to rescue the Princess when she would be harassed by the unfortunate Trillinia and let her walk only on the flowery path. I will push her hard towards the Second Prince without having to worry about the other Princes! All I have to do is help the Second Prince not die!”

Haon made up her goal as she remembered the villain, Young Lady Trillinia, and the male lead Second Prince.

“I also would like to meet my favorite character, the Fifth Prince. Hehe.”

Haon sneaked in her private desires in the end. The Fifth Prince was her favorite character in <Queen of Roses and Thorns>.

That moment when saliva was about to flow from the corners of her mouth as she wanders into her delusion, “Are you done mopping? Clean the southern hallway afterwards.”

Haon heard a voice that was like pouring cold water over her. It was Mel – her boss. She was also a lower ranked lady-in-waiting with no setting values in the webnovel <Queen of Roses and Thorns>.

“Ye-yes.”

Haon took her mop and bucket before briskly walking towards the southern hallway. What spoiler existence? I am in a situation where I only mop all day long.

“Is this the only way I will be able to see the Princess just once until she ascends to the throne?” Haon was crying and muttering.
