Beginning of the Attestation (3)

The winter sun tickled Lily’s cheeks as she slept deeply.

She unconsciously hugged something like a giant ball of iron that had absorbed the heat of a furnace.

How long had it been since she had such a calm and peaceful morning? Lily opened her eyes, looking forward to rolling around in bed all day.

“…!”

And she screamed silently.

The true identity of the “piece of iron” that she had been hugging was her naked husband.

She was attached to him all night, not a stitch of clothing between them. Her whole body was tangled with his—her pale flesh, the pink tips of her breasts, and the soft hair below.

His firm touch and warm body temperature scattered her thoughts.

It was not very strange since they were a couple, but why did she feel like she shouldn’t be found out like this?

Vlad’s scent tickled the tip of her nose, further fueling the bizarre shame. If he hadn’t been asleep, she would have run away like a rabbit into the corner of the bed.

Fortunately or unfortunately, he showed no sign of getting up. He was probably tired since he didn’t sleep properly the whole time she was ill.

…If I move, will you wake up?

Leaning on his shoulder, Lily glanced at him. She held her breath and lifted her arms from his body. He didn’t wake up. A little bolder, she slowly raised her upper body. The well-groomed silver hair fell like a curtain and reached his arm.

It was then that Lily could properly look down at him.

The sunlight cast shadows over the contours of his face and torso.

He looked like an indifferent, arrogant ruler in his sleep. Thick black hair and lashes below dark eyebrows. Cool lips under the sharp nose bridge.

Lily seemed to have become a blasphemous prankster who had sneaked into a god’s bedroom.

A man with an appearance that naturally evoked vain imaginations. He was her husband.

It was the first time she had seen him sleep, even though they’d consummated the marriage several times.

Half man and half monster.

Judging by the facts, it was terrifying. But such a birth for a rather attractive man fueled a strange sense of mystery.

How can you think of yourself as ugly with this face?

Lily unconsciously touched his lips.

“…Haa.”

He was looking at her, gray eyes clear.

Was this the feeling of being caught in the act? Her heart was pounding. Tremors exploded from finger to toe.

A single blink of an eye seemed to signal something. The two looked at each other like a painting, even holding their breaths.

Finally, the first person who swallowed dry saliva was Lily.

His gray eyes turned red. He flipped their positions.

“Ah!”

Vlad pressed on Lily’s body with his own.  Crushed on the comfy bed, Lily squeezed her eyes shut.

“…”

Excited breaths mingled in the quiet bedroom. She carefully opened her tightly closed eyes.

His face was in front of her. So close that she couldn’t avoid it no matter where she shifted her gaze. Their foreheads were almost touching.

If she moved her body in the slightest, her soft lips would brush against his. .

He didn’t even blink.

It was as if he was going to imprint her just by looking at her eyes tirelessly.

She was breathless. The blood-red eyes that looked over her were like a demon savoring the sacrifices on the altar.

From head to toe, it felt like he was going to eat her. Part of her was convinced that not a single piece of her body would be left.

Then his face slowly approached. Lily closed her eyes in preparation.

His lips gently pressed down on her forehead.  He slowly moved away, leaving only the soft touch and his breath tickling her hair.

After the brief kiss, he released her. “Good morning. Lily.” It was a languid and heavy whisper. The red light in his eyes had gone. Looking at Lily, who was bewildered, the corners of his lips drew a fine arc.

“Yes, good… morning…” She blinked. Light slowly poured down her face. “Were you awake? Since when….”

“From just before sunrise.”

Her mouth opened slightly. She lowered her head. Didn’t that mean many hours had already passed?

Lily murmured in shame, “Why didn’t you wake me up…?”

“Didn’t you have a hard time sleeping?”

“It must have been a pain to keep your eyes open, but you don’t have to worry about me from now on.”

“It isn’t that hard. Rather…”

Not hard?

It must’ve been difficult to stay awake.

His temperature, touch, scent, and even the sound of his breaths were so enchanting. She didn’t mind that.

Lily’s body hardened under him. Vlad looked down at her in wonder.

Blood rushed all over.

A huge presence that could not be ignored was hotly pressed between their lower bodies.

Her body felt warm and soft through his pants.

“…”

It was a perfectly normal reaction for a husband on top of his naked wife. But it had only been one day since he said he didn’t treat her like a sex doll.

Only after he fully gained her trust…

“My lord. Sorry for the interruption in the early hours. It is urgent.” An uninvited guest knocked on the door.

“…”
