It’s not a very familiar face. But he’s pretty sure he’s seen a similar set of eyes somewhere.

‘I don’t recall him immediately, so he’s not someone I’ve met in the last few days.’

Kwon Seo-hong, a Priol executive and Haetae liaison officer, quickly scanned Han Cha-soo.

Han Cha-soo looked pretty neat even though he was wearing a patient’s uniform.

Almond-shaped eyes and calm gray eyes. His nose was as straight as he had been told, and his jawline was sharp as if to represent his struggles.

Kwon Seo-hong thought that if he recovers his health and gains more weight, he is a young man who deserves to look back at least once.

However, no matter how much he looked at him, no one came to mind in particular.

‘Not the union cadres, for sure.’

Priol is a gray area that claims to be the middleman between the Liberal Union and the Awakening Management Bureau. But their roots were always Coalition.

The birth of Priol itself came from the hands of Haetae.

Therefore, Kwon Seo-hong knew most of the faces of leading guild members in the union, including Haetae.

But none of them could connect with Han Cha-soo.

‘Then where the hell did I see him?’

A person whose interaction is not so close that it does not immediately occur to him. However, he may have seen his face recently enough to capture his familiarity.

‘Is there someone I saw at the last exchange meeting?’

There are other groups outside of the Alliance that participate in exchanges. For example, organizations with enemies abroad….

Kwon Seo-hong’s eyes sparkled with interest.

“Han Chasoo-ssi, do you happen to have….”

It was then.

Swoosh.

Something the size of a door blocked the view from both sides.

“Your eyes are disrespectful.”

“I’d like you to refrain from asking personal questions.”

“Huh?”

The two men who had been standing by Han Cha-soo’s side had suddenly blocked his way. Kwon Seo-hong frowned as he looked at the two men who stood there like monks.

“I didn’t do that trick.”

“It shouldn’t be.”

Geum Myeong-yeol smiled lazily and hugged Han Cha-soo’s shoulder with one hand.

“I’m working hard these days.”

“Oh.”

“I’m talking about the scouting offer.”

A firm voice was heard in Kwon Seo-hong’s ear, who was making exclamations. It was Han Cha-soo. He looked at Geum Myeong-yeol with annoyed eyes.

“Guild Master Exilis has been asking me to transfer guilds lately.”

Kwon Seo-hong’s eyes grew bigger.

‘You weren’t wrong when you said that the S-ranks are incredibly cheap.’

First Baekdam, then Jung Yiheon, and now Geum Myeong-yeol. What on earth is so special about Han Cha-soo?

Kwon Seo-hong’s eyes deepened as he looked at him.

“I told you to watch your eyes.”

Something light flashed in front of his eyes. Kwon Seo-hong snatched it lightly.

It was a card by Haetae.

It was clear that Geum Myeong-yeol ripped it off someone’s waist.

“Take that back to your master.”

“Oh, my… I’m not the kind of person to be treated like this anywhere else.”

Kwon Seo-hong frowned at the errand boy’s attitude.

“It’s only because you’re a Priol executive that you’re treated like this.”

Geum Myeong-yeol pulled up the corners of his mouth lazily.

“If it was Haetae, as soon as they stepped here, an arm would have flown away.”

Geum Myeong-yeol laughed as he gently patted my left arm.

“Just like its owner.”

Kwon Seo-hong let out a ‘huh’ sound, as if he was energized by the cute provocation, but he didn’t get angry or questioning.

He’d been expecting that kind of injury from the start.

As Han Cha-soo guessed, Haetae was not just making a fuss to thank him.

The Bureau had taken it upon themselves to summon the guild leaders of the Liberal Alliance. Haetae felt it was necessary to make a strong statement in response.

“I don’t know how long you think we’ll be dragged around by them.”

“I’m going to have to give him a warning to stop hanging out with us. Otherwise, he’s not going to wake up, this bastard who’s the head of the organization.”

In that way, Haetae decided to go to destroy the prestige of the Awakening Management Bureau for the first time in a long time.

His gratitude to Han Cha-soo was an excuse.

It was an excuse he could use when the Awakening Management Bureau asked him the purpose of his visit.

‘I didn’t know Geum Myeong-yeol would come out right away, but I still did quite well.’

As if that weren’t bad enough, he’d managed to get past the Bureau’s defences and incapacitate the head of security, who had rushed in late. It was a nice touch that they hung him from the top of a tree as he arrived at work.

It was a satisfactory achievement for the Libetarian people who were grinding their teeth under the arrogant oppression of the Awakening Management Bureau.

All that remained was the delivery of gifts to Han Cha-soo, who was the cause.

Kwon Seo-hong flicked his fingers with a greenish grin.

“I don’t think we’re going to get anywhere with this, so let’s cut to the chase. Bring it in.”

Hae-tae’s behaviour at the Bureau’s main entrance had been nothing short of humiliating.

The bureau’s eternal rivals and bad-brotherly rivals had brought in a bounty of gifts.

“These are potions and elixir made by our craftsmen.”

There were gulps of breath here and there; these items were priceless.

Kwon Seo-hong inclined his head slightly in pride.

“I hope you get all of them and get well soon. Oh, it’s even better to have a cup of tea later after you leave the hospital.”

Haetae’s distribution was indeed large and wide.

Soon after Priol went back, Geum Myeong-yeol went back. It was after receiving a brutal phone call from the secretary that he would resign if he did not return immediately.

“See you again.”

For a moment, I’m relieved that it was a clean exit.

Still in the hospital room, I rubbed my chin in frustration.

“Oh, this must be a potion made by Myung-sun. Look, it’s branded underneath.”

“How can the medicine smell like this? It looks like it’s just been plucked from the grass.”

“It’s a potion made by a bunch of bums who look out for the backs of thugs, so what’s the big deal…. Wait a minute. Is that Cheong So-hwan?”

People freaked out in front of the luxurious crates.

‘I want to throw it away…. But then Haetae will come forward and try to kill me.’

They were going to show up today like they had come to smash the bureau for disrespecting their goodwill and insulting the honor of the craftsmen.

“So what about all that.”

I frowned. The number of crates is twelve in all together. This was more than I could carry home, let alone inventory.

Should I take a day and eat it all?

I was seriously counting the pills.

“I’m telling you this because it suddenly came to mind.”

The bespectacled man, Seo Jung-min, approached and spoke to him.

“Could it be that the person the Priol executive was talking about is Han Chae-soo’s family?”

“What?”

“Didn’t he tell you that he seems to have seen you somewhere?”

The low voice was serious. So was his expression.

“If Han Cha-soo’s family is alive, and there is an awakening among them, it is possible enough. Everyone says that Priol knows more about the awakeners than the Awakening Management Bureau.”

My eyes subsided by the following words. For me, the family was just an excuse to get rid of Baekdam in the first place. I didn’t really mean to find them.

Second of all, I had no intention of finding them, because I wasn’t the real Han Cha-soo, let alone confirming that I had no family on the computer.

‘Even if Han Chau’s family does exist, it’s not up to me to find them.’

I thought that even if I had a family, there was no guarantee that they would welcome me.

So it was better not to meet. For each other’s sake.

But Seo Jung-min didn’t seem to agree. When I was in the medical center, he persuaded me to find my family.

“Wouldn’t it be better to get moving sooner rather than later? If you want, I can put in a good word with the Priors.”

“You don’t have to.”

“Han Chasoo-ssi.”

Seo Jung-min called him with a serious face.

“I tried not to say this, but I can’t help it. In fact, after that day, we all stayed up all night worrying about Han Chasoo-ssi.”

What are you talking about. Seo Jung-min said to me, who opened my eyes wide.

It was a soft, subtle, heart-stopping tone.

“Let’s say we found Han Chasoo-ssi’s family. By the way, what would you do if they were a heinous criminal or abandoned Han Chasoo-ssi for some really ridiculous reason?”

I felt Seo Jung-min’s persistent gaze. His face is stubborn as if he won’t miss any of my responses.

‘You’re so overprotective.’

I smiled and shook my head.

“I’m fine.”

“……!”

“They must have their own reasons. I just… I just want to make sure that the people I share blood with are breathing somewhere in the world. So don’t worry about me.”

I’m not even gonna meet them in the first place. I walked past Seo Jung-min, thinking leisurely.

“Hah…”

Seo Jung-min sighed as he saw Han Cha-soo walk away.

‘Are you sure it’s memory loss.’

Since the last report, he’d been watching Han Cha-soo carefully, just in case he was faking his memory loss.

‘But that’s something you can’t say unless you’ve changed.’

The Han Cha-soo he knew was a man who would find his family and kill them with his own hands rather than say such things. That’s why. But he’s sure Han Cha-soo really lost his memory.

Now the question is how to tell the truth.

Seo Jung-min’s gaze was deep as he looked at Han Cha-soo’s back.
