"Umm, excuse me, can I join?"

A sweet tomboyish voice interrupted the two students eating in the corner of the room.

Lin Wu turned to the source of the voice, realizing that it was Natsumi.

He gulped as he looked at her appearance.

Uzumaki Natsumi looked nothing like Naruto's S.e.xy Jutsu.

Absolutely nothing like that.

Whereas the S.e.xy Jutsu changed Naruto into a woman with a voluptuous figure, decked out with large b.r.e.a.s.ts and a nice waist, Natsumi was like the opposite of that.

She held a gentle charm, something that grows and grows on the beholder rather than the explosive one-off S.e.xy Jutsu.

Blonde hair tied into twin tails, with a gentle face adorned by cerulean blue eyes, a modest yet pleasing figure, she was simply pleasant to look at.

Natsumi wore the Kuoh Academy's girl uniform: a white long-sleeved, button-down shirt with vertical linings, a black ribbon on the collar, a black shoulder cape and matching button-down corset, and a magenta skirt with white accents that did much to enhance her princess-like appearance.

Lin Wu and Kagura watched as the transfer student stood half a meter away, awkwardly holding a cup of instant noodles as the duo watched her.

'But why us?' Lin Wu couldn't help but question her intentions.

Lin Wu loves 'Naruto' and 'Naruto Shippuden.' He, like many others, watched the journey of the lovable idiot and followed every single episode and chapter of the Genin's path to becoming a Hokage almost religiously.

To him, Naruto was like an idol figure.

Something meant to be admired from far away.

The first words between the two were "First time?" when they got sent into the hallway. Lin Wu would've continued the conversation, but he was a bit lost on how to approach someone like her.

Talk about the trials she had faced? Most definitely not.

Gilgamesh interrupting them was perhaps a godsend for the fan.

Even though this version of Naruto may be a girl, he still treated her like an idol-- perhaps, even more so, considering her simplistic yet beautiful appearance.

Not to mention, he didn't know just how much has changed between the male and female version.

"There's no room," Kagura stated bluntly as she looked at Natsumi.

Not wanting to make a wrong impression, Lin Wu quickly added on, "Kagura is a bit blunt, but she means no harm."

Natsumi rubbed the back of her head awkwardly as she realized that there was no space to sit with the two, considering that the person sitting next to Lin Wu was taking the moment to sleep, and the person sitting next to Kagura was focusing intently on finalizing her notes.

Not to mention, both of them sat next to the wall, as far away from the windows as possible.

Kagura would've accepted Natsumi had there been space, she wasn't mean, she acted as how a particular white-hair slacker would.

Which was why it was so easy talking to her.

"You can take my seat Uzumaki-san," Lin Wu offered, as he started picking up the empty cans and cartons.

"You... you can sit next to me." A soft, quiet voice chimed in.

The three turned to the speaker, a petite girl with white hair and hazel eyes wearing the Kuoh uniform.

The seat next to the girl was empty, but they were three seats away from Lin Wu and Kagura.

Natsumi had to pick one or the other.

'Weird, I thought they were going for the wait-and-see approach, or is she acting on her own?' Lin Wu watched the white hair girl as Natsumi kept on looking between the two.

Toujou Koneko.

A reincarnated devil, but also a former nekomata.

'It must be senjutsu.' Lin Wu guessed.

"M-maybe we can eat together?" Natsumi offered.

Luckily for the child of prophecy, the door next to the duo opened.

The classroom immediately turned to the person who entered the room.

The girls started squealing while the guys started ogling.

A specific brown-haired student did not hide it, only to be hit in the stomach by the other transfer student on the elbow.

Lin Wu turned to the person.

Rias Gremory.

A beautiful young woman with white skin, blue eyes, and a downright bombastic figure. Other than her figure, what caught people's attention had to be her distinctive long beautiful crimson hair that reached all the way to her t.h.i.g.hs with a single hair strand sticking out from her top.

Lin Wu turned to Natsumi, realizing that she was entranced by said hair.

Rias turned to Natsumi before walking to her; her features softened as she gave her a slight bow.

"I believe you're the new student Uzumaki-san? I'm terribly sorry for interrupting; I have to pick up my friend for a second." Rias nodded at Koneko before the little girl got off her seat, avoiding eye contact as she looked at the ground.

The leading girl of 'Kuoh Academy's 54 Great Ladies' gently closed the door as she left with the third-ranked girl of the 'Kuoh Academy's 22 Cutest Girls.'

Once they left, the class immediately returned to their cliques, no one noticing that Natsumi was still looking at the door.

'Mother's hair.' Lin Wu smiled.

The girl sitting next to Kagura finished her note and turned to Natsumi. "Uzumaki-san, you can take my seat, I need to take a breather."

Lin Wu turned to the girl.

Yukimura Hayami, one of the 'normal' people of this world.

A simple looking girl with black hair tied into a ponytail with brown eyes the same shade as Lin Wu. Her features were sharp as she almost always wore a stoic face.

It must be noted that Yukimura Hayami was also one of the nicest people around despite her cold appearance.

'Also highly capable.' Lin Wu noted.

Had it not been for the current class president, Hanekawa Tsubasa, a monster in academics, ranked third in the 'Kuoh Academy's 36 Greatest Minds', then Hayami would've been the class president of Class 1-A.

But alas, she was simply a normal human.

No quirk.

No special abilities.

Not from a special race or clan.

But still ranked 29 despite all that.

As Hayami stood up and got ready to leave, a small object fell out of her pockets.

No one realized, all except Lin Wu due to his enhanced 'hearing' abilities.

He stood up and picked up the object. Hiding from sight, he quickly wrapped it up in tissues.

"Yukimura-san," He called, "I think you dropped something."

Hayami raised a brow as she accepted the object covered in tissues before a rare small appeared on her face.

"Thank you; you're a lot kinder than the rumors." She said as she walked off into the hallway as she pulled something out of her other pocket.

As Lin Wu turned back to the classroom, he realized Natsumi had already combined Hayami's table with theirs.

Immediately after sitting down, Natsumi started sniffing.

"Eh? There's a faint smell of smoke."

"Ah, it's probably me. I encountered a few smokers this morning, sorry." Lin Wu quickly interrupted.

Natsumi then tilted her head in confusion, choosing to let the conversation go, she then turned to Kagura.

"Kagura-chan," before Natsumi could continue Kagura let out a yell.

"She knows my name!" Kagura then turned to Lin Wu, "I told you I'm famous!"

Lin Wu forced a smile, 'More like infamous.'

Kagura then turned to Natsumi, waiting for her to continue before starting to pick her nose with her pinky.

'Just like Gintoki.' Lin Wu laughed internally.

"Oh right, Kagura-chan, how come you're allowed to wear that?" Natsumi pointed at her cheongsam.

Kagura then looked at her clothes before shrugging.

"Due to Kuoh Academy's huge size, the students are allowed to wear whatever they want as long as they keep their uniform in their lockers in the case that we may need them. Most students wear them anyway, but some like Kagura chooses not to." Lin Wu explained. He was actually quite surprised by this too; uniforms are usually mandatory back in his original world in East Asia.

Natsumi nodded as she turned to her cup noodles, her eyes shining.

"Although it's over three minutes, it's ready!"

As she started eating, Kagura turned to her.

"So, why Kuoh?"

It was rare for Kagura to ask a question like this.

'Her instincts must've told her that there's something more to Natsumi.' Lin Wu concluded.

"I just got a letter telling me that I was accepted along with some books and this uniform." Natsumi quickly answered as she pointed at her clothes.

"What about you, Kagura-chan?"

"Papi said I needed a normal education and common sense or something like that." She said as she flicked a little booger at the trash on the other end of the room.

"What about you, Lin Wu?" Natsumi turned to face him.

'She knows my name! Wait, Kagura screamed my name earlier.'

Perhaps it was her pleasant personality, as Lin Wu suddenly felt a lot more comfortable. Maybe also because compared to Kagura, everything would be better.

"Kuoh has a lot of facilities and connections; if you want to live a comfortable civilian life, you must settle for Kuoh."

Natsumi seemingly perked up at the words 'civilian life' before nodding her head. "Really? I got lucky then!"

"Where do you live, Natsumi-chan?" Kagura asked.

The two were already on a first name basis; perhaps it was due blunt Kagura is.

"Me?" Natsumi then pointed her slender finger at Lin Wu, "I live in front of him."

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait."

Lin Wu started thinking, if his idol lived near then shouldn't he be the first to know?!

'Unless...'

"You live in that massive traditional style compound?! The one with stone walls and a massive tree in the middle?!"

"Oooh, you know?" Natsumi smiled.

Of course he would know! It's the only area in the entirety of City A where he can't 'hear' anything!

But according to his 16 years worth of memory, albeit fragmented, no one ever lived there!

No one!

"Wait," Lin Wu stopped, "How did you know I lived in front of you?"

"I saw you running out of your house!"

'Of course, I didn't want to use the parasol/umbrella...'

He then turned to Natsumi, "to think that compound belongs to you, the world is really small!"

"Really? I think it's quite big when I was dropped here!" Natsumi exclaimed.

Before Lin Wu could call her out on her word choice, Kagura immediately put her hands on the transfer student's shoulder.

"Can I come?!"

"Of course you can! I've never had anyone visit me!" Her eyes shone in excitement as she nodded repeatedly.

"We can have a sleepover too!" Kagura added!

"Sleepover?! Okay! Do we have food? I don't think I have food!"

"It's fine! I can just tell Papi to give me money and then I'll buy them!"

Kagura then turned to Lin Wu before she smugly smiled, "If it comes to it, we can just rob his fridge!"

Natsumi snapped her head towards Lin Wu, with bright eyes she asked, "Do you want to come too?"

"I--"

Before Lin Wu could answer, the other girls in the class except for a certain few started swarming the new student.

"Can I come as well? I'll bring drinks!"

"Count me in; I'll bake cupcakes and cookies!"

"My dad caught some eel recently! I'll make fresh sushi!"

"I make the best curry; I'm joining!"

"I'll bring over card games!"

Natsumi clapped her hand as a megawatt smile dawned her face.

"Of course dattebane!"

Lin Wu couldn't help but smile as well.

'The demon child of Konoha,' He laughed.

In his eyes, he only saw an angel.
