Chapter 11 Interrogation:

In a small dimly lit room, a strong beam of light shined on Lu Yi Bei’s face, his head was drooping listlessly as he leaned on the chair appearing unperturbed but feeling very nervous deep down.

The room was windowless, with a metal table and chair facing a one-way mirror embedded in the wall.

The room had a faint mold smell, with dust fluttering in the air being visible under the beam of light, behind the intense light stood a girl, whose appearance was unclear, with only a dark silhouette being able to be made out.

Such a scenario reminded Lu Yi Bei of the interrogation rooms often seen in films and television, he slightly opened his mouth, ready to start wailing to sell the fact that he was innocent, before hearing the girl ask a question to him in an indifferent tone.

“Name?”

Lu Yi Bei froze, it’s her! She’s the one…… the one who opened the door to send warmth![1]

After pondering briefly, Lu Yi Bei spoke just before the maid lost her patience.

Just thinking about the bloody and horrific scenery in the dream, made Lu Yi Bei feel somewhat flustered.

Lu Yi Bei slumped on the chair expressionlessly, like a person that had lost his dream, as he weakly said, “Elder sister, please just end it quicker! you guys shouldn’t be bullying people like this just because of that! I saw it in a dream, how was I supposed to know it coincidently happened to be true?”

“Let me ask you, if you had a nightmare, got scared, and called the police because of it, wouldn’t you feel like you’re retarded?”

“You……” the maid opened her mouth, wanting to refute what Lu Yi Bei said, but she also felt like he had a point, as she thought of something……

Is this little brat mocking me?

After thinking about it, the maid was about to make Lu Yi Bei taste a bit of true bitterness, just then a knock came from the door, which was followed by a cold and indifferent voice from outside the door.

“Ah Hua, come out for a moment.”

“Alright, Miss!” answered the maid before turning around quickly glaring at Lu Yi Bei, as she clenched her fist and raised it up in the air shaking it twice before leaving the interrogation room.

Jiang Li watched the entire interrogation unfold from behind the one-way mirror, before finally calling the maid out when Lu Yi Bei had lost his will.

“Miss, why did you call me out! Although this guy is reluctant to talk, if you just give me a bit more time, I’ll definitely pry something out of his mouth!” The maid said with a face full of bitterness.

If it’s to help out Miss, what’s the problem if the method is a little inhumane?

“At least have someone here! If you’re going to kill or torture me, rob me of my money, forcibly make me have sex, just say it to me directly!”
