In Resident Evil, But It's Slightly Different...?

After that battle I began my walk over to the medical room safe house

No zombies bothered me as I took most of them out on my exploration before

"Jack! What happened to you?" Jill asked me as I stepped in the room

"Giant Snake" Was all I said

The two Alpha team members shared a look and went back to what they were doing

*CSHHH*

"[email protected] &^#Outsid((e..... Fo^!*est...."

'So Wesker finally shows his face...'

"Was that wesker?" Chris asked

I nodded and my face turned serious

"There's something I have to tell you about him, actually"

Jill and Chris looked to each other with raised eyebrows, before looking back

"Well?"

"You can't trust him. Wesker is a traitor"

They both went wide eyed at that

"What the hell do you mean by that?!" Chris shouted a little angrily

I sighed and looked them both in the eyes "Let me tell you..."

And so I explained to them Wesker's plan. His position in creating the T-Virus, his ambitions, his traitorous actions

Everything

It took almost an hour and by the end of it, both of them were sitting on the floor, looking shocked out if their minds

Jill finally looked up at me, snapping out of her state slightly

"How do you know all of this?"

It was a pretty good question, and not something I couldn't honestly answer right now

I grunted "I have my sources, and he did provide quite a few obvious clues to his betrayal. Hell, he was even naive enough to provide me with T-Virus Data!" I dropped another bombshell, sending them back into silence

We sat there for another few minutes until I stood up

"I'm going to go explore outside, call me on the radio if you need me" They both nodded slightly and I left the room

I first went outside to the graveyard, all five of the masks being on me, I could grab the final emblem I needed to head into the courtyard

"Mouthless mask here... and last one!" I placed the mask on the final bust in the stone room

The coffin behind me finally snapped itself off its chain, dropping to the ground in a loud thud

"Guhhhhhh"

"Oh boy, my first crimson head.."

The coffin popped open, dust flying out of the inside, obscuring the figure on the inside

The first thing I saw was a torn up boot, a red clawed hand coming up next

It's head was final, showing off its body to full view

The crimson head was basically a Zombie 2.0. Better, faster, stronger, the works, and accompanied by all red skin

"GURGHH"

It finally saw me and charged, swinging it's blackened long nails at me

I rolled out of the way, shouldering my shotgun

*BANG!!*

Taking aim, I fired at its head

"GUrghhhg"

It hit point on, but only blew out a centimeter of its face

The Zombie looked back at me, glaring hatefully before charging again

"ARGHGHGHH!"

It swiped at me, it's claws creating distortions in the air

"Hup!"

*BANG!*

Rolling out of the way, I fired again at its midsection, sending the thing flying to its back by the large barred fire

I strapped the gun to my back and jumped on the Crimson Head while it was down

"AGRHHH"

I began to do what I had done with the Yawn. Raining down punches furiously onto its back, sending flesh an blood flying everywhere

"Phew, tough bastard aren't you?!"

His skin felt like foot wide leather and it's bones were like hardened steel

But even though it had that protection, I could probably punch dents in steel right now..

"AGHRRGGG"

The crimson head screamed as I punched through its heart, sending blood once again flying before it fell down limp and lifeless

"Well now, that was a nice workout" I said to the empty room, getting only the crackling of the fire in return

I sighed and unsheathed my knife, beginning the arduous task of cutting the head off its body

Not surprisingly, it took almost five minutes, the skin and base of the neck taking much longer to cut through than normal

'Necro?'

[Hmm? Oh yeah]

The red tinged head dissolved into countless particles, floating out through the exposed staircase

[Stable T-Virus V2 - 1%]

My eyes widened at how much it rose from that sample

'What the hell Necro??'

[What? First of all the head was damaged quite a bit from your shotgun, and obviously the next version would take a bit more effort from the last]

I sighed in frustration, walking up the staircase after picking up the emblem in the coffin

"RGHGHH"

A sudden noise made me jump slightly at the base of the stairs

Looking down, I saw the Zombie I cut the legs off of earlier

"Oh, forgot about you did I?"

I unsheathed my knife and drove it through its skull, it's body going limp

"That's that taken care of.." I got up and walked off

If I had stayed longer, I would have seen the red splotches forming on its skull

"Rghgggg"
