Hey, what's with all the people?

Well, that's obviously a lot.

And all they do is work with kids.

At first I thought the fishermen's wives were helping us, but upon closer inspection, I realized that most of them were children. It was dogs, bears, sheep and squirrels? Are there birds in there? They were all of various kinds of beast races and beastmen races.

''Whoa, you're back.''

Sissies!

Welcome back!

While we were watching them, the adventurers and the cat sisters found us and came up to us.

We're home!

I'm home...

I just got home. So what's the deal with those guys?

Next to the cat sisters, sister and Sakuya hugging each other, Cruz-kun asked about those kids that he was interested in.

''Ahhh, they're just like those two.

From what I heard, it seems that they were orphans too, working on the beach and preparing food, when they appeared out of nowhere and looked at us. And apparently, the cat sisters noticed them and brought them to me.

Like the cat sisters, they came to the town by boat, but they were orphaned for various reasons, such as illness and attack by pirates. The cat sisters met the cat sisters when they were orphaned and I gave them a place to sleep.

''But why aren't there any human race?

Yes, for some reason the only people here were the beast race, the beast race, and not a single human race.

That's because the human race is in the town's orphanage. At first, we were curious and found out that this town's orphanage welcomes humans but doesn't accept anyone else.

'What's that? You've got to be kidding me!

'The whole town doesn't seem to be discriminated against, but there's discrimination in those areas.

So I'm helping him with his work and feeding him because he's a poor kid.

But it won't go on forever, so what are you going to do now?

The merchants are working hard there.

I heard that the merchant group that I thought I couldn't see was now negotiating with the commercial guild. When I asked them what they were negotiating about, they said they were in talks to buy some land on the outskirts of town, around here.

''What are we going to do buying a piece of land in a place like this?''

A natural question from Mr. Cruz.

'Cruz, where do we live? And who's here?

Hmm? You live in the Sirius Orphanage and this is an orphan?

'Yes! Then what do we do?

I... what?

'Silly me, I'm going to build an orphanage for those kids. We can't take this many of them to the Sirius Orphanage, as expected.

Oh, I'm sorry to be so self-indulgent, but I'd like to build an orphanage, or at least a place to live.

I certainly wouldn't abandon them after taking care of them so well. But there are so many of them, and some of them are so young, it's hard to bring them back to the Sirius Orphanage. It's true that building an orphanage might be a good idea. Besides, if we just ask them to process fish and shellfish, they'll have no trouble finding work.

''Yeah, maybe I'll ask you to go to the guild as well, so keep that in mind.

The explanation from the adventurer's group made sense to me. Buying land means you need money, and since I have most of the money, I have to go. Of course, I have given money to the merchant group, but as expected, I haven't given them enough to buy the land. If you are going to run an orphanage, there are a lot of issues with the building, maintenance costs, and people to manage it, but have you thought about that?
