I've been going straight into production since I got back. However, all I'm going to do is process the wood

I would like to go digging for blacksmithing ore, but I have to buy it, so that will have to wait. If we're going to go there, we'll need to bring a group of adventurers with us as well, which is inefficient.

For now, I want to prepare a large quantity of wood and firewood, since we're going to use it to build the port city orphanage, and there's no shortage of wood and firewood to go around.

(Gohhhh!)

(Gasp, gasp, gasp.)

(Scrawny.)

I'm putting this new one right here!

Yes, sir! That's not a lot!

While I was working on the wood processing, the adventurer's group brought additional wood. They brought them, but the amount seemed a little too much.

I had asked the group of adventurers to cut down a few trees while exploring the forest. It's not good for the environment to cut down too many trees in the same place, so I only asked them to cut down a few trees to keep a distance.

'No, the queen got overzealous and made me cut down a tree in a dense area.

I didn't know why the queen was sticking it out, but the explanation made sense to me. Just like when I hunted Trent before, there are many animals and monsters in the forest that respond to the sound of cutting down trees and gather around. Normally I would work to prevent them from coming, but apparently the Queen used it to bring in her prey and keep fighting.

It seems that she was trying not to cut down too many trees in one place, but she cut them down, fought them, ran, moved, and then cut them down again, and on and on. Fortunately, there were a lot of boas, goblins, and ants that appeared, so the number of them was not too large or strong.

''Well, shall we help you too?

It's a part of the training.

Once I piled up a mountain of wood, the adventurer's group helped me process it. Even though there is a benefit of 10 levels in leveling up, it doesn't mean that muscle training is useless. The hard work is also an adventurer's job, because if you work out, you'll naturally learn it. I think it's more that kids are really first to train their bodies by helping out in various ways.

There are still very few kids who are good at magic, so I'll be drying one tree after another. The adventurer's group does the heavy lifting of laying out the trees, cutting branches, and peeling the bark. They also sorted the wood after cutting it, which was a big help.

This time it's that way.

'Yeah...'

Yes.

I'll do my best.

"[W]ugh!

The little sisters were very active here. My little sister was leading the way with Sakuya, the cat sisters, and the Kobold children in tow to collect the leaves. Basically, they collected dried leaves, but since the tree the adventurer group brought with them was of different types, they had to collect the leaves that weren't dried because there were many different kinds of leaves.

Some of the leaves were large, some were soft, and some were edible when 'appraised', which surprised me a bit. I packed the soft leaves into a bag and made them into pillows and cushions, and they were unexpectedly popular, so I'm currently waiting for a reservation.

However, although I'm grateful for the efforts of my sisters, I'm having trouble with the fact that the leaves are gathering too much. The new leaves have given us a cushion, but we can't think of any other use for it other than to basically use it for sparks or as fertilizer.

However, I am thankful that it is doing well, so I might bake a baked potato next time. I don't have silver paper or newspaper, so I don't know if I can make it work....

There is a way to bake potatoes in stone, but I wonder if that stone is some kind of special stone?
