Kojiin Tamer

In the morning of the next day, I tried to make something sweet for Sakuya as a thank you for her grandfather.

The ingredients were sifted flour, eggs, milk, and honey.

I'm going to make a pancake. ...is probably not possible, so I'll make pancakes. Well, there are many theories about the difference between pancakes and pancakes, but they are thin and not sweet, so pancakes will do.

And, as usual, I threw it all to Char!

I've given you some idea of how to make it. I don't know the formula, so I'm counting on my cooking skills.

I left Charu-chan in charge of the pancake seeds and I started to assemble the kamado outside.

We don't have a frying pan here, and most of our meat is cooked in pots and pans or on skewers. So I decided to cook pancakes on a stone slab instead of a griddle.

I made a U-shaped stone slab with the earth magic to make a slippery surface and a slippery backside, just like a kamado for barbecue.

I didn't know whether thicker or thinner is better, so I made three different types of stone slabs of different thicknesses.

When I went to the kitchen, Char-chan was preparing a large number of seeds. When I looked into the bowl, I found that the seeds were of a good hardness.

That's Charu-chan for you.

It was a little early in the afternoon, but I went outside with Charu-chan and headed for the kamado. Let's try to grill one of them for the time being.

First of all, I used fire magic to warm up a thick stone slab in the middle. It's easy to adjust the degree of heat because of the use of magic.

Again, I rely on Char-chan's cooking skills, so I adjust the heat as Char-chan instructed.

The stone plate warms up and Char-chan begins to cook the pancakes.

By this time, children have gathered around me.

They seemed to be very interested in what she was making.

After the pancakes were cooked for a while, they were turned over. We didn't have a frying pan, so we used the trowel to cook the pancakes. The mimics are made of earth magic stones.

As expected, it was a bit tiring to make it thin and slippery. Because of that, I could only make two pancakes.

The pancakes that I turned over were browned to a golden brown. That's my boy Charu.

After a little while, I turned the pancakes over again, skewered them to make sure they weren't burned too raw, and they were done.

The result looks great. I don't know how you've managed to get this far just by talking about me...

That's not the point, it's the taste test.

Cut the pancakes on the plate into six equal portions, pour honey over them and eat them.

Yes, it's not as sweet or soft as the ones I had in the past, but it's good enough. Charu seemed satisfied and the kids were almost drooling at any moment.

After tasting the pancakes, Charu began to mass-produce them. He uses a stone plate so he can make many pancakes at the same time, but it's not easy because there are nearly 50 people in the kitchen.

Well, not all of the kids are there now because some of them are working.

I asked the kids around me to prepare lunch and I put the hot pancakes away in the item box.

I finished baking all the pancakes with no more pancake seeds.

Charlotte looked a little tired, so I used magic to soothe her.

It was lunchtime and I started to hand out the pancakes to everyone. The kids took their turns getting them and pouring honey on them.

Butter is not available because I do not know if there is any butter or not.

Sakuya was pouring plenty of honey on them.

Then everyone sat down and started eating their pancakes.

And everyone who ate them smiled.

Except for the grandfather....
